Dual hydraulic tank adjuster
A hydraulic flow adjuster includes a first hydraulic tank, a second hydraulic tank, and a piston actuator. A first piston operates within the first hydraulic tank and a second piston operates within the second hydraulic tank. The piston actuator adjusts a relative position of the first piston in the first hydraulic tank and a relative position of the second piston position in the second hydraulic tank, such that the relative position of the first piston in the first hydraulic tank is the same as the relative position of the second piston in the second hydraulic tank.
Device and apparatus for the height adjustment of a road vehicle and relative road vehicle
A device for the height adjustment of a road vehicle interposed between a frame and a suspension of the road vehicle so as to allow the vehicle to shift from a road configuration to a race configuration and vice versa. The device comprises a base body provided with a first end, which can mechanically be connected to the frame of the road vehicle; a first mass, which can be connected to the base body so as to be movable along a sliding axis; a second mass, which is connected to the first mass so as to be movable along the sliding axis as well and is configured to be able to be connected to a suspension of the road vehicle and to change the stroke of the suspension depending on the position of the second movable mass.
Integrated multiple actuator electro-hydraulic units
Integrated multiple actuator electro-hydraulic systems as well as their methods of use are described. Depending on the particular application, the integrated electro-hydraulic systems may exhibit different frequency responses and/or may be integrated into a single combined unit.
Top mount with integrated jounce damper
A vehicle suspension system includes a damper top mount including a top mount body defining an interior cavity, a damper coupled to the top mount and including a damping member and a damper rod coupled to the damping member, and a jounce shock assembly including a jounce shock body coupled with the damper top mount and encircling the top mount body. The jounce shock body includes an exterior wall and a dividing wall generally parallel to and interior of the exterior wall, a first chamber defined by the top mount body and the dividing wall, a second chamber fluidly coupled with and parallel to the first chamber and defined by the dividing wall and the exterior wall, a floating piston movably disposed within the second chamber, and a piston configured to translate within the first chamber between an extended position and a compressed position.
Level control system for a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle
A level control system for a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, includes at least one level control cylinder and one level control piston, the level control piston being movably guided in the level control cylinder in order to adjust the level of the rail vehicle, the level control piston having an outer piston sleeve and a piston main body at least partially accommodated in the piston sleeve, and the piston main body being slidable relative to the piston sleeve for wear readjustment and being lockable and/or fixable in at least two adjustment positions.
Concentric hydraulic ride height actuator for a motor vehicle
A hydraulic ride height actuator system for providing variation of a ride height at a front end of a vehicle is provided includes a strut and an actuator including a piston and a housing axially movable with respect to the piston. The housing is fastened to an upper end of the strut. The piston and the housing define a hydraulic chamber. An increase in a volume of the hydraulic chamber forces the housing upward to vary the ride height.
Hydraulic assembly
An assembly includes a spring seat, a spring seat insert, and a seal. The spring seat is slidable along the spring seat insert to define an expandable fluid chamber therebetween. The spring seat includes a groove defining a mating surface. The seal is between the spring seat and the spring seat insert. The seal includes a mating portion at the first end engageable with the mating surface of the groove to prevent fluid from exiting the fluid chamber.
Suspension system and vehicle
In a suspension system in which the oil chambers of two dampers are connected, the responsiveness of the dampers can be adjusted. A suspension system has a left damper, a right damper, and an intermediate unit. A case of the intermediate unit has an intermediate oil chamber connected to an oil chamber of the left damper and the oil chamber of the right damper and an intermediate gas chamber. The intermediate oil chamber and the intermediate gas chamber are partitioned by a diaphragm. The intermediate unit has a capacity adjustment mechanism including a movable portion of which the position can be changed. The capacity adjustment mechanism adjusts the capacity of the intermediate gas chamber by changing the position of the movable portion.
Spring apparatus
A spring apparatus (10), including: a spring (12); an elongated object (18A) disposed within and along the spring (12); and a mode-changing assembly (16), for providing a first mode in which a portion (38) of the spring (12) being along the elongated object (18A) is not springy, and a second mode in which an entire of the spring (12) is springy.
