Tree protection system
A tree protection system including a flexible UV-stable first layer including a plurality of openings between about 5 mm and about 9 mm formed therein, the first layer configured to protectively surround at least a base of a tree, and a unitary fastener adapted to secure overlapping opposed portions of the first layer together during protectively surrounding the at least a base of a tree in response to application of a single force directed toward the opposed portions.
Indoor Plant-Growing System
An indoor plant-growing system is an apparatus that includes a housing, at least one trellis, a reflective foil, at least one panel light, and a plurality of strip lights. The housing contains the at least one trellis, the at least one panel light, and the plurality of strip lights. The housing maintains an environment to grow a variety of plants, preferably, vine-type plants. The housing includes a growing chamber and a nutrient reservoir. The growing chamber houses variety of plants, and the nutrient reservoir supplies the growing chamber with a water supply and nutrients. The nutrient reservoir maintained preferably with fish in addition to at least one environmental sensor and at lease one aerator. The at least one panel light and the plurality of strip lights provide thorough lighting needed by the variety of plants. The reflective foil reflects the light to ensure lighting withing a fully grown vine plant.
Daylight redirecting window covering
An optically transmissive light directing sheeting and daylight control structures employing the same. The light directing sheeting includes a core light redirecting layer employing TIR surfaces embedded into the sheeting and may further include one or more outer layers having light diffusing surface microstructures. The TIR surfaces intercept and reflect a portion of sunlight propagating through the core layer such that the light directing sheeting partially transmits and partially redirects the sunlight towards a plurality of divergent directions, forming relatively high bend angles.
LIGHT SPECTRUM-MODIFYING NETTING FOR USE IN CITRUS FRUIT PRODUCTION
A photo-selective light spectrum-modifying net for use in citrus fruit production, the net comprising a woven array of parallel and mutually spaced first threads and an array of parallel and mutually spaced second threads, the second threads being inclined to the first threads to define an array of openings between the first and second threads, wherein the first threads are uncolored and composed of a first polymer which is selected from a polymer incorporating a white pigment or dye, a transparent polymer or a translucent polymer, and the second threads are colored red and composed of a second polymer which incorporates a red pigment or dye, the second threads being adapted to transmit, scatter and reflect electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength range of from 640 to 680 nm. Also disclosed is a method of producing citrus fruit using the net.
Environment-controlled greenhouse with compressor and blower modules
The present invention relates to improvements in the environment controlled multi span structured greenhouses equipped with the modules AL, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 plurality of sensors AL comprises a facility which magnifies and intensifies the artificial light and or natural light to the optimal level A1 comprises a capture manifold two blowers, a compressor tanks T1, T2 and a release manifold. A4 continuously harnesses bio-thermal energy A6 uses activated nutrients solutions of raw calcium sulphate, raw magnesium sulphate and urea substantially reducing input cost A7 comprises a thermal shading film fixed to the greenhouse rood and to the four external sides.
Greenhouse
A greenhouse has a roof including a plurality of substantially parallel crossbeams, at least two longitudinal sections which are mounted to the crossbeams and extend at a distance from each other in transverse direction of the crossbeams, a transparent foil which is mounted to the longitudinal sections at respective foil attachment locations thereof so as to form a cover between the longitudinal sections. The roof also includes a displacement mechanism for displacing one of the longitudinal sections with respect to the other between a non-foil-stretching position and a foil-stretching position. The distance between the respective foil attachment locations is larger in the foil-stretching position than in the non-foil-stretching position. The displacement mechanism can be operated and is lockable at an upper side of the roof.
Deer proof garden enclosure and method of making
A netting enclosure kit comprises a skeleton configured to operate in a plurality of configurations between a first, partially expanded configuration and a second, fully expanded configuration, a netting enclosure comprising a plurality of panels configured to be joined together to enclose or hang from the skeleton in each of the plurality of configurations, a first webbing configured to connect to a first portion of the netting enclosure, a second webbing configured to connect to a second portion of the netting enclosure, and a fastener configured to attached to the first webbing and to the second webbing to form an openable and closeable seam.
INFLATABLE GROW TENT WITH INTEGRATED LIGHTING
Self-supporting inflatable grow tents include a base surface, a top surface, and a plurality of sidewalls. The sidewalls include an integrated lighting system. The inflatable grow tents include a plurality of support members configured to structurally support the grow tent when inflated, and an air circulation assembly including an air blower and a carbon filter. The grow tents include a lighting system configured to provide a standard deviation of average photosynthetic active radiation that is from about 2 to about 8 within the grow tent when the lighting system is active.
AEROGEL BLANKET INSULATOR AND ITS FUNCTIONAL COMPOSITE
This invention relates to functional composites that consist of an insulator and other functional elements associated with it. Specifically, this invention is relevant to functional composites that consist of an aerogel insulator and a functional heating element to increase thermal efficiency while supplying heat to the targeted object and keeping it warm.
AGRICULTURAL MATERIAL, AGRICULTURAL MATERIAL ROLL, AND AGRICULTURAL HOUSE
The agricultural material includes a cellulose acylate layer and a polymer layer. The cellulose acylate layer is formed of cellulose acylate. The polymer layer is provided on a first CA surface, which is one surface of the cellulose acylate layer. The polymer layer has a moisture permeation resistance of at most 7.510.sup.4 m.sup.2.Math.day/g per 1 m of thickness and is formed of a polymer different from cellulose acylate. The agricultural material has a tear strength of at least 0.10 N.
