METHOD OF CONTROLLING AND MANAGING A PRODUCTION CYCLE OF A LIVESTOCK FARM
A computer-implemented method of systematically controlling and managing a production cycle of a livestock farm housing a population of animals, the method comprising (a) obtaining real-time data by a plurality of, sensors and/or manual or machine-based measurement and evaluation devices, including a set of farm condition parameters, (b) establishing statistical correlations of animal status parameters and process parameters with the animal performance parameters; (c) calculating and automatically adjusting, depending on the farm condition parameters obtained in (a) and on the statistical correlations identified in (b), a set of data set points for farm operating parameters such that at least one of a selected one of the animal performance parameters is optimized; and (d) repeatedly conducting (a) to (c) until finishing the production cycle. A system for systematically controlling and managing a production cycle of a livestock farm housing a population of animals.
DOG COLLAR
An intelligent dog collar for monitoring physiological parameters of a dog, comprising: a movement sensor unit comprising an accelerometer and/or a gyrometer, wherein the movement sensor unit is configured to detect raw movement signals of the dog collar, a storage module storing a trained neural network, the neural network being configured to determine a physiologic information into raw movement signals detected by the movement sensor unit, a processing unit connected to the movement sensor unit and configured to operate the trained neural network, a memory configured to store the identified physiologic information, an interface for transmitting to a communication device the identified physiologic information.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF COUNTING LIVESTOCK
A system configured to receive video and/or images from an image capture device over a livestock path, generate feature maps from an image of the video by applying at least a first convolutional neural network, slide a window across the feature maps to obtain a plurality of anchor shapes, determine if each anchor shape contains an object to generate a plurality of regions of interest, each of the plurality of regions of interest being a non-rectangular, polygonal shape, extract feature maps from each region of interest, classify objects in each region of interest, in parallel with classification, predict segmentation masks on at least a subset of the regions of interest in a pixel-to-pixel manner, identify individual animals within the objects based on classifications and the segmentation masks, and count individual animals based on identification, and provide the count to a digital device for display, processing, and/or reporting.
COMPUTERIZED SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LIVESTOCK MANAGEMENT
Various examples are directed to livestock management systems and methods. A first user computing device may display a GUI comprising a first animal visual element. The first animal visual element may correspond to the first animal and indicate a first colostrum feeding of the first animal. When a user selects the first animal visual element, the user computing device may display a first colostrum input screen for receiving first colostrum data. The user computing device may also modify the first animal visual element to indicate the time status of the first testing action for the first animal.
MODULE TYPE PET TOILET
A module type pet toilet includes a base part that has an open top and a housing space for housing a bed part, the bed part that is housed in the housing space and accommodates sand therein, and a self-assembly entrance part that is coupled on the base part and includes a space connected to the bed part. The self-assembly entrance part includes side portions constituting both side walls of the space, a back portion constituting a back wall of the space, a front entrance portion that is detachably coupled to the side portions and includes an opening portion formed by opening at least a part of the front entrance portion in order for a pet to enter and exit, and a top entrance portion that is detachably coupled on the side portions, the back portion and the front entrance portion.
Process of using Arkansas net energy formulations of feed ingredients for broiler production
This invention relates generally to a process of using Arkansas net energy formulations of feed ingredients for broiler production. In calculating energy requirements, the invention accounts for the heat generated due to maintaining body composition as well as the energy accretion from gain. The process is configured be incorporated into and utilized by a system for formulating feed rations.
Animal motion and temperature monitoring
A computer system and method for identifying and monitoring animals in a confined space. A tracking apparatus is provided having a plurality of antenna arrays in proximity to a confined space. One or more animals to be disposed in the confined space are associated with a detection component operable to identify and detect a core body temperature of an animal it is associated with when detected by the tracking apparatus. Data is received in a computer monitor system from a detection component when detected by the tracking apparatus in the confined space. The received data identifies an animal in correlation with its motion and temperature data. Real-time position and core body temperature of a detected animal is determined while the animal is disposed in the confined space by analysis of the received data in the computer monitor system.
System for Pet Feeding Activity Detection and Indication
Disclosed is an animal feeding activity detector integrated into or affixed to a feeding bowl, and which has activity sensing means, decision means, and indication means. The sensing means measures a physical quantity indicative of animal feeding activity. The decision means, comprising a microcontroller with programmed instructions, ascertains if measurements qualify as animal feeding activity. The indication means gives a spatially and temporally immediate indication of whether activity has been detected.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR MONITORING STATE OF ANIMAL AND PROVIDING SOLUTION
This application relates to a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. In one aspect, the computer-readable storage medium includes instructions configured to cause a processor for calculating an appropriate feed amount based on animal characteristic information to receive one or more pieces of first animal characteristic information. The one or more pieces of first animal characteristic information may include at least piece of activity level information of a first animal. The instructions may further cause the processor to calculate a maintenance energy requirement (MER) of the first animal, based on the received one or more pieces of first animal characteristic information and an MER calculation model.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING A SUBJECT IN A PREMISES
A system is described herein that comprises a communications device periodically transmitting a radio frequency signal, wherein the periodically transmitted signal includes data. The system includes a receiver detecting the periodically transmitted signal, the detecting including measuring strength of the periodically transmitted signal, the detecting including using the signal strength to provide a first estimate of the receiver's distance from the communications device. The system includes the communications device comprising at least one location sensor for determining an additional distance indication, wherein the data includes the additional distance indication. The system includes the receiver performing a function when the first estimate meets at least one criterion and when the additional distance indication indicates a first state.
