Snowmobile

This specification relates to a snowmobile. Each of the right suspension and the left suspension includes a damper capable of expanding and contracting according to the vertical movement of the lower arm and a spring that exerts spring force in the expansion/contraction direction of the damper. The cylinder of the right damper and the cylinder of the left damper are connected to each other through a hydraulic fluid channel so that the hydraulic fluid flows between the cylinder of the right damper and the cylinder of the left damper. This snowmobile can reduce the difference in contact pressure on snow surface between the left ski and the right ski, when the vehicle turns.

SPRING STRUT FOR A VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

A spring strut for a vehicle suspension system includes a spring cylinder defining a cylinder chamber and a spring piston longitudinally displaceable in the spring cylinder. The spring piston subdivides the cylinder chamber into a first and a second outer working chamber. The spring cylinder includes an inner plunger which subdivides a piston chamber formed by the spring piston into a first and a second inner working chamber. The first inner working chamber is simultaneously formed by subdividing the cylinder chamber by means of the spring piston.

Apparatus for actively controlling stability of vehicle

An apparatus for actively controlling stability of a vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a strut tower brace bar that is disposed in a lateral direction of a vehicle body and opposite ends of the strut tower brace bar are individually connected to upper portions of left and right shock absorbers. Additionally, an actuator is disposed at a predetermined position in a longitudinal direction of the strut tower brace bar. When torsional deformation of the strut tower brace bar occurs due to rolling of the vehicle body, the actuator is configured to restore the strut tower brace bar by receiving gas from the left and right shock absorbers.

A hydraulic active suspension for a vehicle includes: a shock absorber, a common channel, an accumulator module, and a liquid storage apparatus. The shock absorber has a housing, a piston, and a piston rod. The housing is adapted to be connected to a wheel or an axle. The piston is located in the housing and defines an upper chamber and a lower chamber of the shock absorber. One end of the piston rod is connected to the piston. The other end of the piston rod projects out of the housing and is adapted to be connected to a body. Both the liquid storage apparatus and the accumulator module are in communication with the lower chamber through the common channel. The liquid storage apparatus is configured to adjust a height of the vehicle. The accumulator module is configured to adjust at least one of stiffness and damping of the shock absorber.

Pump rinsing systems and methods

A rinsing system includes: a pump control module configured to, when a hydraulic line is connected to a port that is fluidly connected to a hydraulic line of a suspension system, selectively operate a hydraulic fluid pump of the suspension system and pump hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic fluid tank of the suspension system through the hydraulic fluid pump toward the hydraulic line; and a valve control module configured to, when the hydraulic line is connected to the port and the hydraulic fluid pump is pumping hydraulic fluid, open valves of the suspension system and fluidly connect the hydraulic fluid pump with the hydraulic line.
