X-SHAPED SPRING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE WHEEL SUSPENSION SYSTEM
An X-shaped spring for a transportation vehicle wheel suspension system having, per wheel side, a first leaf spring and a second leaf spring made from fiber-reinforced arranged to lie above one another and combined at a respective first end on a first fastening device for transportation vehicle body-side support, wherein the first leaf spring has a second fastening device at its second end for wheel-side support, and the second leaf spring is supported at its second end on the transportation vehicle body side. Towards its second end, the second leaf spring is an arc section curved away from the first leaf spring.
Torsion spring arrangement for a wheel suspension arrangement of a motor vehicle, and wheel suspension arrangement for a wheel of an axle of a motor vehicle
A torsion spring assembly for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle, including two torsion bars arranged coaxially one inside another and also a spring element, which is arranged axially-parallel to the two coaxial torsion bars, and can be mounted on the motor vehicle body via a bearing position, wherein the radial outer hollow-cylindrical torsion bar can be mounted on the motor vehicle body side and is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner to an output lever fastenable on a wheel guiding element and the radial inner torsion bar is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner to the outer torsion bar and is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner via a coupling to the spring element.
Torsion spring arrangement for a wheel suspension arrangement of a motor vehicle, and wheel suspension arrangement for a wheel of an axle of a motor vehicle
A torsion spring arrangement for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle, including two torsion bars arranged coaxially one inside another and also a spring element, which is arranged axially-parallel to the two coaxial torsion bars and can be mounted on the motor vehicle body via a bearing position, wherein the radial outer hollow-cylindrical torsion bar can be mounted on the motor vehicle body side and is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner to an output lever fastenable on a wheel guiding element and the radial inner torsion bar is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner to the outer torsion bar and is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner via a coupling to the spring element.
Leaf spring and actuator control systems and methods
A suspension system of a vehicle includes: an unsprung mass of a vehicle; a sprung mass of the vehicle; at least one transverse leaf spring coupled between the unsprung mass of the vehicle and the sprung mass of the vehicle; and a linear actuator coupled in parallel with the at least one transverse leaf spring between the unsprung mass of the vehicle and the sprung mass of the vehicle and configured to modify vibrational characteristics of the vehicle.
STEERING GEARBOX ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE
A steering gearbox attachment structure according to one embodiment of the present disclosure attaches and secures a steering gearbox to cross members positioned in the vehicle widthwise direction, and is equipped with support parts provided on the cross members, and a steering gearbox housing part which has contact parts. The first attachment surface of the first support part and the second attachment surface of the second support part form an angle which is greater than 90° and less than 180°.
Vehicle suspension
A vehicle suspension having a first load-bearing component assembly and a second load-bearing component assembly. The first and second load bearing component assemblies are adapted to be transversely positioned across from each other on a vehicle chassis. A directionally-dependent heave spring assembly is adapted to be transversely secured to a vehicle chassis, the heave spring assembly is coupled to the first load-bearing component assembly and to the second load-bearing component assembly and exhibits resiliency in opposition to upward vertical movement of both wheel hub assemblies relative to their rest states, and exhibits substantially no resiliency in opposition to downward vertical movement of both wheel assemblies relative to their rest states.
Rear suspension apparatus of vehicle
A rear suspension apparatus of a vehicle includes: a transverse helper leaf spring connected to a rear axle and disposed in a transverse direction; and a first stopper mechanism and a second stopper mechanism contacting the transverse helper leaf spring when the vehicle moves. The rear suspension apparatus is capable of improving riding quality by using a new spring constant value generated by the transverse helper leaf spring when freight is loaded and a vehicle body frame moves downwardly, and restricting rolling movement of the vehicle when rolling is caused, thereby increasing roll stiffness and improving driving stability.
VEHICLE SUSPENSION
A vehicle suspension for supporting the body or chassis of a vehicle includes suspension arms positioned at opposite sides and at one end of a vehicle and two suspension arms positioned respectively at opposite sides and at one end of a vehicle, each arm mounted for pivotal movement about a respective hinge axis. A balancing hub is attached to the vehicle body or chassis with at least one part of the hub free to rotate relative to the vehicle body or chassis about at least one pivotal position. Each suspension arm is connected to the hub at a position of the suspension arm spaced from a respective hinge axis whereby pivotal movement of the suspension arm applies a force to the hub. In use, the force opposes the force from another suspension arm at at least one of the same side and the same end of the vehicle suspension.
SUSPENSION DEVICE
A suspension device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is equipped with: an upper arm; a lower arm; a leaf spring positioned so as to extend in the vehicle widthwise direction in a manner such that an end section thereof is provided on the lower arm; a first bracket configured in a manner such that a shock absorber connected to the lower arm is connected to the outside of a side member in the vehicle widthwise direction; an upper bushing capable of transmitting force between the leaf spring and a suspension cross member; and a second bracket which is independent from the first bracket and is positioned below the side member between the side member and the leaf spring so as to be capable of transmitting the elastic force of the leaf spring to the side member via the upper bushing.
SUSPENSION DEVICE AND LOWER ARM
A suspension device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure which is equipped with an upper arm, a lower arm, and a leaf spring positioned so as to extend in the vehicle widthwise direction in a manner such that an end section thereof is provided in the lower arm, wherein: the lower arm has an opening which opens to the inside in the vehicle widthwise direction; the leaf spring extends into the lower arm through the opening; the end section of the leaf spring is supported by a support part of the lower arm; and a cover section of the lower arm covers the end section of the leaf spring at a distance therefrom, and has a prescribed reinforcing shape.
