A floor assembly includes a controller, a compressor, an airbag, and a floor. The controller is configured to provide one or more user controls to permit a user to operate the compressor and regulate pressure in the airbags. The floating floor is configured to isolate a carrying load from vibrational effects and trailer forces. The assembly is optionally removable from a trailer floor and may be inserted on a different trailer. A guide member is used to restrict movement of the floor on the airbags to only a vertical motion. The guide members may include a dampener.

Motor Vehicle Suspension Gas Spring

A suspension arrangement for a vehicle includes a piston for supporting a flexible bellows assembly of the suspension arrangement, said piston having a first portion connectable to the flexible bellows assembly and a second portion connectable to a wheel axle, said piston further having an outer side and an inner side, and wherein said suspension arrangement further comprises a mounting structure for positioning an insertable sensor device toward the flexible bellows assembly, said mounting structure extending at least from the outer side to the inner side and having an outer opening for receiving the insertable sensor device from an outside of the piston.

OVERMOLDED AIR STRUT TOP CAP WITH METAL REINFORCEMENTS

An air spring strut assembly includes a top cap with a metal flange overmolded within a plastic overmold housing. The metal flange carries structural loads through the top cap and the plastic overmold housing includes non-load bearing complex shapes ands surfaces. A shock absorber and bellows are attached to the top cap to complete the air spring strut assembly.

AIR-SUSPENSION MODULE FOR A RIGID AXLE WITH SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION

A gas spring for use in a gas suspension system. The gas spring includes a gas inlet port configured to receive compressed gas and a gas inlet chamber connected via an inlet conduit to the gas inlet port and via an opening to an internal volume of the gas spring. The inlet conduit is connected to the gas inlet chamber at a position offset from a central axis of the gas inlet chamber such that an angle between a longitudinal axis of the gas inlet port and a surface of an interior wall of the gas inlet chamber opposing the gas inlet port is acute.

Coil Replacement Load Leveling System with Safe Height Feature.
20230073413 · 2023-03-09 · ·

A primary air suspension system with the reliability of a secondary air suspension system by guaranteeing a minimum pressure in the air spring through a simple mechanical residual pressure valve. The residual pressure valve is set to the air spring pressure required to hold the rear of the unloaded pickup truck at the designed ride height if any of the components (compressor, tank, valves, air lines, Schrader valve, or electronic controller) failure.
