Gas spring and gas damper assembly and method
A gas spring and gas damper assembly includes a gas spring assembly and a gas damper assembly. The gas spring assembly includes a first wall portion, a second wall portion disposed in spaced relation to the first wall portion, and a flexible wall section connected therebetween. The gas damper assembly includes a third wall portion disposed in longitudinally-spaced relation to the first wall portion, and a second flexible wall section connected between the second wall portion and the third wall portion. A fourth wall portion is disposed between the first and second wall sections to define two pressurized gas chambers. A damper rod connects at least the first and third wall portions. Methods are also included.
Vehicle suspension system and vehicle
A vehicle suspension system includes a frame, a damper and a rocker arm. The frame is connected with the rocker arm through the damper, the swing part of swing arm limits the swing arm's rotation angle by matching the limit structure on the frame; the bottom of damper is provided with the universal structure, the damper is connected with the rocker arm through the universal structure, and the universal structure controls the damper in free deflection. A deviation motion of vehicle wheels on both ends by coordinating the swing arm, vibration damper, etc. to avoid the slipping and rollover due to great sides way upon vehicle steering and the lateral wheels disengagement from ground and to enhance the safety of cornering driving of vehicles.
Internal bypass shock absorber
A shock absorber is provided that includes a shock body and a shaft assembly. The shock body has an inner chamber. The inner chamber is defined by a cylindrical interior surface. At least one groove is formed in the interior surface within at least one select length of the shock body. A piston of the shaft assembly is received within the inner chamber of the shock body. The piston includes valving to allow dampening matter that is received within the inner chamber to pass through the piston to allow the piston to move within the inner chamber. The at least one groove that is formed within the interior surface is configured to allow at least some of the dampening matter to bypass the valving of the piston to allow the piston to move through the at least one select length with less resistance.
VEHICLE
Provided is a vehicle capable of suppressing an increase in weight. A vehicle includes an air suspension device (pneumatic apparatus), an accumulator, and an air pump. Compressed air is supplied to the air suspension device. The accumulator stores compressed air to be supplied to the air suspension device. The air pump is driven by a relative movement between a vehicle body and wheels, and generates compressed air to be stored in the accumulator.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AIR SUSPENSIONS, AIR SUSPENSION CONTROLLER, AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM, VEHICLE, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
An electronic control unit containing a microcomputer performs: calculating operation variables of left and right air springs of air suspensions based on a steering angle and a roll angle of a vehicle; and controlling air pressures of the left and right air springs in accordance with the calculated operation variables.
CLEVIS-ENDED SUSPENSION STRUT MANUFACTURED WITHOUT WELDS
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a suspension strut for use on a work machine is provided. The suspension strut may have a forged one piece cylindrical inner housing that includes a hollow rod which forms a circumferential piston at an open end and a lower clevis at a closed end of the hollow rod. The suspension strut may further have a forged one piece cylindrical outer housing that includes a hollow barrel having an interior and an exterior surface, a closed end that forms an upper clevis, an open end, and a port on an outside surface of the hollow barrel. Further, the inner and outer housing may be coupled by a disk shaped end cap attached to the open end of the hollow barrel having an inner diameter that is slideably engaged with an outer surface of hollow rod.
Active air spring
An active air spring regulates and controls compression and rebound travel, speed, and shock position by modulating internal pressures in an air bag and/or air cylinder in real time by varying the internal volume of discrete air reservoirs in fluid connection with one another as controlled by valves, venting, and self-pressurization.
Flexible Spring Member and End Closure Assemblies as well as Gas Spring and Gas Damper Assemblies Including Same
Flexible spring member and end closure assemblies include a flexible spring member-defining a spring chamber. An end closure body includes an outer peripheral surface portion and an elongated damping passage extending axially into end closure wall in a spiral arrangement about longitudinal axis. End closure body is positioned along an end of flexible spring member with flexible wall permanently attached along outer peripheral surface portion such that a substantially fluid-tight joint is formed between flexible spring member and end closure body. Gas spring and gas damper assemblies as well as methods of assembly are also included.
VEHICLE ACTIVE SUSPENSION INERTIA REGULATION METHOD BASED ON WHEEL SUPPORTING FORCE, AND CONTROL SYSTEM
An inertial regulation method and control system of vehicle active suspension based on a supporting force of each wheel comprises an inner loop control and an outer loop control. The inner loop control is to calculate, according to the dynamics, a theoretical supporting force of each wheel when the vehicle is driving on a virtual slope plane with a 6-dimensional acceleration and a pitch angle measured by an inertial measurement unit; compare the theoretical supporting force with the measured supporting force of each wheel; and control the expansion of each suspension cylinder according to the difference value, so that the supporting force of each wheel changes according to the theoretical supporting force. The outer loop control is to control each suspension cylinder for the same expansion of displacement, so that the average value of all the suspension cylinder strokes tends to a median value.
Damping air spring for heavy-duty vehicle axle/suspension systems
A damping air spring for heavy-duty vehicle axle/suspension systems. The damping air spring includes a first chamber and a second chamber and at least one opening between the first chamber and second chamber to provide restricted fluid communication between the first chamber and the second chamber. An adsorptive material is disposed within the first chamber or the second chamber and works in conjunction with the at least one opening to provide damping characteristics to the air spring over a first and second critical range of frequencies.
