SPRING PAD FOR A SUSPENSION
A spring pad for a suspension can satisfy both conflicting dynamic seating property and durability, and unification of specifications. In particular, the spring pad may include: a body portion disposed on one side of a spring to support the spring; and an insert portion embedded inside of the body portion and integrally formed with the body portion. The spring is seated on an inclined surface of the body portion, and the inclined surface may be formed in a spiral shape gradually increasing in height. A spiral curve of the inclined surface may be formed by reflecting a composite line minimizing a gap between the inclined surface and the spring.
Suspension adjustment assembly
A shock absorber assembly comprises two springs 11, 12 arranged in series so as, in use, to extend between a pair of spaced apart spring seats. A coupling member 13 is arranged between the adjacent ends 11b, 12a of the springs 11, 12. The coupling member 13 is adjustable and is formed by a shaft having a pair of flanges 14, 15 provided on the outer surface thereof. The shaft extends axially beyond each flange 14, 15 so as to extend inside the windings of the abutting spring ends 11b, 12a to locate the spring ends 11b, 12a on the coupler 13. Each flange 14, 15 engages an associated adjacent ends 11b, 12a of one of the springs 11, 12. At least one of said flanges 14, 15 is moveable longitudinally along the shaft so as to vary the longitudinal separation between the two flanges 14, 15 and thereby vary the preload on the springs 11, 12.
SUSPENSION ADJUSTMENT ASSEMBLY
A shock absorber adjuster assembly comprising at least one spring arranged so as, in use, to extend between a pair of spaced apart spring seats. At least one of the spring seats is adjustable and is formed by a cylindrical body, a first adjustable member and a second adjustable member. The body has a first thread formed on its outer surface and a second thread formed on its inner surface. The first adjustable member includes a first flange having a threaded inner surface which is engageable with the first thread of the body so that the first flange can be screwed along the first thread. The second adjustable member includes a second flange provided on an end of a shaft. The separation between the first and second flanges can thereby be adjusted by moving of either or both of said first and second flanges.
Caster wheel with constant force mechanism
A wheel assembly includes a wheel having an axle, and a constant force mechanism coupled to the wheel. The constant force mechanism includes a horizontal support, a horizontal carriage associated with the horizontal support, a vertical support oriented perpendicular with respect to the horizontal support, a vertical carriage associated with the vertical support, and a rigid arm that is pivotally coupled with the horizontal carriage, the vertical carriage, and the axle. The rigid arm is coupled with the vertical carriage at a point intermediate where the rigid arm is coupled with the horizontal carriage and the axle. The horizontal carriage is capable of being urged along the horizontal support, and the vertical carriage is capable of being urged along the vertical support.
SPRING ASSEMBLY FOR A CHASSIS, VEHICLE CHASSIS COMPRISING A SPRING ASSEMBLY, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SPRING ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE CHASSIS AND USE OF A SPRING ASSEMBLY
A spring assembly for a vehicle chassis may include a spring that features a coating, a spring support, and an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer can be arranged between the spring and the spring support. The intermediate layer may be at least materially connected to the spring, in particular to the coating on a side facing the spring. The intermediate layer lies entirely or partially against the spring support on a side facing away from the spring and is connected to the spring support by a connection other than a material connection.
Suspension and coil spring of the same
A suspension for a vehicle, includes a coil spring interposed between a vehicle body and an axle. An end turn portion on at least one end of the coil spring is covered by a viscoelastic material.
ADJUSTMENT ASSEMBLY FOR COMPENSATING A LENGTH VARIATION OF A SPRING ELEMENT AND WHEEL SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
An adjustment assembly for compensating a length variation of a spring element for a vehicle is enabled. The adjustment assembly can comprise a first adjustment element having a primary abutment surface and a primary support surface. The adjustment assembly can comprise a second adjustment element having a secondary abutment surface and a secondary support surface. The first adjustment element and the second adjustment element can be arranged adjacent to one another along an axis such that the primary abutment surface and the secondary abutment surface contact each other. The primary abutment surface and the secondary abutment surface can extend circumferentially around the axis respectively and can be sloping, such that a distance between the primary support surface and the secondary support surface is adaptable by rotating the first adjustment element and the second adjustment element relative to one another.
SPRING SUPPORT DEVICE AND VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME
The present document provides a spring support device and a vehicle having the same. The spring support device includes a first support unit for supporting a damper spring. The first support unit includes a first support body configured for being connected to a vehicle body, and a spring support which is detachably fixed to the first support body. Due to the separation arrangement between the spring support and the first support body, suitable first support body and spring support can be selected as required, which can satisfy requirements of different vehicles in the vehicle modification process. Since the spring support is separated from the first support body, an area between the spring support and the first support body can be sprayed before assembly when spraying protective paint. Therefore, it is convenient to spray protective paint efficiently.
Level control system for a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle
A level control system for a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, includes at least one level control cylinder and one level control piston, the level control piston being movably guided in the level control cylinder in order to adjust the level of the rail vehicle, the level control piston having an outer piston sleeve and a piston main body at least partially accommodated in the piston sleeve, and the piston main body being slidable relative to the piston sleeve for wear readjustment and being lockable and/or fixable in at least two adjustment positions.
Coil spring support for vehicular suspension system
The present invention relates to a coil spring support for a vehicular suspension system, which comprises a base plate and a support column protruding from the base plate, wherein a coil spring is coupled to the support column in such a manner that the lower end of the coil spring is fitted in and coupled to a coupling groove, which is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the support column and at a position having a predetermined height from the base plate, so that the coil spring support can be auxiliarily installed on a plate spring of a vehicle so as to compensate and improve a shock absorbing capability of the existing vehicle.
