A spring rubber seat provided between a spring formed by winding a wire rod to elastically support a chassis and a spring seat where the spring is placed. The spring rubber seat includes an arc seat portion having a seat surface where the spring is seated; and a link portion that links one circumferential end with the other circumferential end of the seat portion to make the spring rubber seat in an annular shape.

Torsion spring bar system for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle
09694645 · 2017-07-04 · ·

A torsion spring bar system for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle includes on each vehicle side a torsion spring bar which is oriented transversely to the vehicle longitudinal center and acts on each wheel guide element of the wheel suspension with variable pretension via an output lever positioned outwards with respect to the vehicle longitudinal center. The torsion spring bar is acted upon by an actuator with a torsional moment. The torsion spring bars on both vehicle sides are coupled to one another at their axially adjacent ends in the vehicle longitudinal center via at least one additional torsion spring element.

Vehicle Suspension

A vehicular dust cover assembly including: an upper support; a bound stopper and a dust cover assembled to the upper support; and an engaging step provided on an outer circumferential surface of the bound stopper. A top end part of the dust cover is externally fit to a top end part of the bound stopper. The upper support includes an outer metal fitting having a fitting recess within which the top end part of the bound stopper is fit and assembled. An engaging projection is provided projecting on an inner surface of the fitting recess to be engaged with the engaging step with the dust cover interposed therebetween. The bound stopper includes an axial pushing operation surface exposed facing axially downward which is provided at a lower side than the engaging step and at a position inside the fitting recess.

Damping device with adjustable spring rate

A spring and damping device for a wheel suspension in motor vehicles includes an upper region, a lower region, and a damping element arranged between the upper region and the lower region. The device further includes a coil spring element and a rubber spring element. The coil spring element and the rubber spring element are arranged one behind the other along a center axis of the damping element such that the coil spring element is positioned to exert a force on the rubber spring element. The device allows a spring rate to be adjusted based either on sensed conditions, or by driver input. The spring rate may be adjustable between discrete settings or continuously variable.

Vehicle suspension with jounce bumper and striker

In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, a vehicle suspension includes an upper member, a lower member, a spring, a jounce bumper, and a striker. The lower member is configured to pivot relative to the upper member. The spring is configured to bias the lower member away from the upper member. The jounce bumper is fixedly coupled to one of the upper and lower members. The striker is fixedly coupled to the other one of the upper and lower members. The striker has a striker surface configured to contact the jounce bumper when the lower member is pivoted to compress the spring greater than a predetermined amount. The striker surface is convex toward the jounce bumper.

Vehicle suspension

A vehicle suspension having a frame attachment portion attached to a saddle, first and second bolster springs mounted to spring mounts on an outboard side of the saddle and mounted on walls of a spring mount on an outboard side of an equalizing beam, and third and fourth bolster springs mounted to walls of a spring mount on an inboard side of the saddle and mounted to spring mounts on an inboard side of the equalizing beam, wherein upwardly extending flanges on the bottom of the first and second bolster sprints are mounted to each other using a common fastener, and wherein upwardly extending flanges on the bottom of the third and fourth bolster springs are mounted to each other with a common fastener.

Coilover damper with semi trailing arm on body on frame vehicle

A vehicle suspension system may include a semi trailing arm, a coilover damper and a distributed jounce response assembly. The semi trailing arm may be operably coupled to a chassis of a battery electric vehicle (BEV) at a first pivotable connection and a second pivotable connection. The semi trailing arm may also support a rear wheel of the BEV. The coilover damper may be disposed between the chassis and a third pivotable connection on the semi trailing arm. The distributed jounce response assembly may progressively distribute a jounce load to at least two different locations within the system.

Universal modularized coil spring buffer
12384211 · 2025-08-12 · ·

A universal modular coil spring buffer having a plurality of modules arranged in a specific configuration adaptable to be inserted in the gap of a coil spring of a vehicle to prevent shocks. The plurality of modules includes a primary module and a plurality of secondary modules. The top surface and the bottom surface of the primary module includes an elongated groove configured to fix and hold the adjacent coils of the coil spring of the vehicle. The secondary module having a first module, a second module and a third module. The different configurations of the primary module and the plurality of secondary modules can be employed for different vehicles with different coil spring dimensions and based on the distance between the adjacent coils. The buffer lessens the compression to the coil spring thereby minimizing oil to leak caused from the shocks.
