CIRCLIP, ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE CIRCLIP
The invention relates to a retaining ring for securing a component. The retaining ring includes a ring segment having an outer circumference for fixing the retaining ring in the axial direction, a recess extending along a circumferential direction of the ring segment, and a closure element for closing off the recess. In embodiments, the ring segment forms a contact surface to fix the component in the axial direction, and the retaining ring has a locking device for locking the closure element in the recess. In embodiments, the locking device is concealed at least on one side of the retaining ring facing away from the contact surface.
Chassis arrangement for a motor vehicle, and method for operating a motor vehicle
Chassis arrangement for a motor vehicle for passenger transportation, having two axles which are arranged at a spacing from one another in the motor vehicle longitudinal direction and in each case have wishbones with the incorporation of a spring element for the independent wheel suspension system. A first axle, lying at the front in a driving direction, is lowered from a neutral position by from 5 to 50 mm, 10 to 20 mm, in order to drive in said driving direction, and a second axle, lying at the rear in the driving direction, is raised by from 5 to 50 mm, 10 to 20 mm, in each case by way of adjustment of the spring elements, it being possible for the driving direction to be reversed.
Drive system of an electric vehicle
A drive system of an electric vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle has an arrangement optimized for characteristics of a hydrogen electric truck so as to ensure an available space inside vehicle body frames, thereby allowing a battery, high-voltage electric parts, a hydrogen tank, and the like to be arranged inside the vehicle body frames and increasing space utilization in the vehicle. The drive system includes a motor configured to drive the vehicle, a reducer or a transmission connected to an output side of the motor so as to change a rotational speed of the motor, and a rear axle configured to transmit rotating power output from the reducer or the transmission to vehicle wheels. The motor and the reducer or the transmission together with the rear axle are mounted on a suspension.
SUPPORT BEAM
A support beam includes a first supporting portion, a second supporting portion, and an arm connecting the first supporting portion to the second supporting portion. The arm includes a web and a flange. The flange includes a first end, a second end, and a center portion. The center portion of the flange is connected to an end of the web. The flange includes bent portions at which the center line of the thickness of the flange is bent outward in the extending direction of the web in the region between the first end and the second end in a transverse cross section of the arm.
Air rear suspension system for automobile
A system for suspending an automobile using an air rear suspension is provided. The system may include an automobile having a body, a front axle, and a rear axle; a linkage bar connected to said body and to said rear axle, wherein said connections allow for relative movement between said body and said rear axle; a cantilever bar having a first cantilever end and a second cantilever end; a damper; and an air spring, wherein said cantilever bar is connected to each of said rear axle and said body at said first cantilever end, wherein said cantilever bar is connected to each of said damper and said air spring at said second cantilever end, wherein said damper and said air spring are each connected to said body, and wherein said linkage bar and said cantilever bar are each configured to move in response to movement of said rear axle relative to said body.
MOUNTING BRACKETS FOR AUXILIARY SUSPENSION SYSTEMS
Brackets for mounting auxiliary suspension systems, such as lift axle systems, to vehicles are disclosed herein. For example, brackets are disclosed for attaching lift axle hanger brackets and lift axle load springs to corresponding frame members. In some embodiments, the frame brackets can include physical features (e.g., a series of graduated steps in an edge portion thereof) to facilitate visual alignment of the lift axle with the vehicle frame members during installation. In other embodiments, the frame brackets can be two-piece brackets that enable the load springs to be removed and replaced without having to detach the frame bracket from the frame rail.
SUSPENSION FOR A VEHICLE
A suspension system for a rear axle of a vehicle provided with a frame equipped with at least two side members, the suspension system connecting the axle to said side members and comprising a left side and a right side, each comprising an axle-holder assembly, a bellows, a leaf spring, first and second bars, and a torsion bar interposed between said left and right sides. The aforementioned elements of the suspension system being arranged to provide a functional layout having reduced costs and overall dimensions.
Air spring unit with short cardanic fold
An air spring unit for a vehicle is described. The air spring unit forms a rolling fold and a cardanic fold. A type of bellows guidance of the air spring, the cardanic fold begins, at the rolling fold side, below that end of the external guide of the air spring unit which is at the air spring cover side. A cardanic fold of axially short construction is realized which, despite a small axial structural space, has the elasticity of a cardanic fold of tall construction.
Guide tube retainment feature during crimping of guide tubes
A method for making an air spring assembly, including the steps of providing a bellow, a support ring, and a guide tube. The support ring is positioned relative to a bellow adapter such that a portion of the bellow adapter extends through the support ring. The bellow is then positioned such that a portion of the bellow extends over the support ring and a portion of the bellow adapter. The guide tube is then positioned relative to the bellow and the support ring, such that a portion of the bellow extends into the guide tube and the guide tube is supported by the bellow adapter, and a portion of the guide tube is supported by a ridge support fixture. The first clamp and second clamp are then moved towards the guide tube, applying force to the guide tube, simultaneously forming a first crimp and a second crimp.
VULCANIZED SUPPORT RING FOR HYBRID AIR SPRING BELLOW
An air spring assembly includes bellow with an outer ring disposed on an outer surface of the bellow. The outer ring containing an embedded cord for constraining a portion of the bellow to establish a “B” shaped fold in an inflated bellow.
