The vehicle frame is fixed to the chassis and arranged on the ground. One end of the controlling arm set is hinged to the vehicle frame, and the other end of the controlling arm set is hinged to a steering device, so the controlling arm set controls the motion stability of the steering device. One end of the damping device opposite to the ground is hinged to the vehicle frame, and the other end of the damping device faced to the ground is hinged to the steering device. A six-wheeled bionic chassis which comprises a chassis frame, a controller, a sensor, front wheel suspension assemblies, middle wheel suspension assemblies and rear wheel suspension assemblies is also disclosed in the present invention.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR A UTILITY VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a frame, a first ground-engaging element coupled to a first portion of the frame, a second ground-engaging element coupled to a second portion of the frame, an operator platform supported by the frame, and a suspension system coupled between the operator platform and the frame to accommodate motion of the frame relative to the operator platform. The suspension system includes a first linkage assembly coupled to the operator platform and operable to accommodate motion of the second portion of the frame relative to the operator platform and a second linkage assembly having a first end coupled to the frame to secure the suspension system to the frame and a second end coupled to the first linkage assembly. The second linkage assembly being operable independent of the first linkage assembly to accommodate motion of the first portion of the frame relative to the operator platform.
Suspension assembly, suspension damping device and six wheels bionic chassis
A suspension damping device installed at a chassis of a mobile robot comprises a vehicle frame, a controlling arm set and a damping device.
Reverse trike suspension and drivetrain improvements
A rear suspension for a three-wheeled reverse trike includes a front lever arm pivotably affixed to a frame pivotable about a front lever arm pivot axis. A slider is translatably attached to the front lever arm. A first pushrod is pivotably connected at a first end to the slider and pivotably connected at a second end to at least one of a front upper or lower control arms for the front wheels. A rear lever arm is pivotably affixed to the frame and pivotable about a rear lever arm pivot axis, the rear lever arm extending to a rear lever arm distal end. A rod pivotably connects the front and lever arms. A first pivotable end of the rear upper control arm is pivotably connected to the rear lever arm distal end, and a second pivotable end of the rear upper control arm is pivotably connected to a rear spindle.
Device and apparatus for the height adjustment of a road vehicle and relative road vehicle
A device for the height adjustment of a road vehicle interposed between a frame and a suspension of the road vehicle so as to allow the vehicle to shift from a road configuration to a race configuration and vice versa. The device comprises a base body provided with a first end, which can mechanically be connected to the frame of the road vehicle; a first mass, which can be connected to the base body so as to be movable along a sliding axis; a second mass, which is connected to the first mass so as to be movable along the sliding axis as well and is configured to be able to be connected to a suspension of the road vehicle and to change the stroke of the suspension depending on the position of the second movable mass.
Anti-roll wheel suspension system for vehicles, and a method for performing anti-roll of a vehicle with an anti-roll wheel suspension system
An anti-roll wheel suspension system for vehicles includes a first suspension spring and a first damper arranged to be connected to a first wheel, and a second suspension spring and a second damper arranged to be connected to a second wheel. The system further includes a centre part operatively connected to the first suspension spring and the first damper, and operatively connected to the second suspension spring and the second damper. The centre part is arranged between the first suspension spring and the second suspension spring, and between the first damper and the second damper. The centre part is movably arranged in a transverse direction. The centre part, when moving in the transverse direction upon activation from the first wheel and/or the second wheel, is configured for impacting the stiffness of the first suspension spring and/or the second suspension spring.
