Additionally, the rear suspension assembly includes a lower radius rod extending in a generally lateral direction relative to the centerline of the vehicle. The rear suspension assembly further includes a suspension member configured to control toe of the at least one rear ground-engaging member.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle includes a body, a wheel hub unit, an upright, which is fixed to the wheel hub unit, a fender, which is arranged to cover the wheel hub unit, and a suspension, which couples the upright to the body in a movable manner along at least one axis, which is transversal to a driving direction of the motor vehicle; wherein the suspension comprises at least one movable element, which is movable along said axis, and wherein the fender is carried by said element in a movable manner relative to the body.
Front suspension apparatus
A front suspension apparatus in which a front side of a suspension arm can be cut off from a subframe at the time of a small overlap collision without a complication of structure and formability. A front suspension apparatus in which a lower arm from which a front wheel is suspended is provided, and a front arm portion and a rear arm portion of the lower arm are axially supported by axially supporting portions of a subframe is characterized in that an axially supporting portion of the front arm portion is joined to the subframe at a joined portion extending in a vehicle width direction, a joined portion extending in an up-down direction, and a joined portion extending in a front-rear direction, and a joining strength of a joined portion in the front-rear direction is lower than a joining strength of the joined portion in the up-down direction.
Axle mounting unit
An axle mounting unit for commercial vehicles a surrounding element, an end element, at least one fastening element and a securing device, configured for mounting a first chassis part that comprises an axle, with a second chassis part that comprises a control arm, wherein a surrounding element is arranged on the first chassis part, an end element is arranged on the second chassis part, wherein the surrounding element has at least two legs extending in a leg direction, the end element extends between the two legs, the fastening element braces the end element with the surrounding element, the securing device creates a form-fit securing device that limits and/or prevents a displacement of the separated part in the leg direction in a positive-locking manner in the event of mechanical failure.
Suspension device for vehicle
A vehicle suspension device, including: a carrier; a lower arm and an upper arm each of which is pivotally supported at one end portion thereof by a vehicle body, the other end portion of each of the lower arm and the upper arm being connected to the carrier; a rocking lever supported at one end portion thereof by the vehicle body so as to be rockable; a link one end portion of which is connected to the rocking lever and the other end portion of which is connected to one of the lower arm and the upper arm at a position between the one end portion and the other end portion of the one of the lower arm and the upper arm; and a shock absorber pivotally supported at one end portion thereof by the vehicle body, the other end portion thereof being connected to the rocking lever.
Bushing for use in a vehicle suspension
A bushing includes a cylindrical body and a flange extending from the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body has an inner face defining a bore. The flange includes an outer rim and a face extending radially between the bore and the outer rim. At least one groove is formed in the face. The at least one groove extends from a first end intersecting the bore to a second end adjacent the outer rim such that grease supplied to the bore of the bushing is able to flow through the at least one groove.
Stabilizer bar for a load span tag axle
A tag axle system for a concrete mixing vehicle including an axle including a right wheel assembly and a left wheel assembly, an actuator coupled to the axle to move the axle between a raised position and a lowered position relative to a vehicle chassis, a stabilizer mount plate structured to be coupled to the vehicle chassis, a stabilizer bar rotationally coupled to the stabilizer mount plate, a right stabilizer bar arm rigidly coupled to the stabilizer bar and coupled to the right wheel assembly, and a left stabilizer bar arm rigidly coupled to the stabilizer bar and coupled to the left wheel assembly.
SUBFRAME
A subframe according to an embodiment is a subframe that holds a suspension device and includes: a pair of side members extending in a front-back direction; a first cross member coupling the side members to connect the side members in a vehicle width direction; a second cross member disposed away from and behind the first cross member and coupling the side members to connect the side members in the vehicle width direction; a first vehicle body attachment point disposed further backward than the first cross member and formed to extend outward in the vehicle width direction from the side member; and a second vehicle body attachment point disposed further backward than the first vehicle body attachment point and formed to extend outward in the vehicle width direction from the side member, and a suspension arm extending from the suspension device is attached to the side member.
All-terrain vehicle
