The vehicular suspension arm according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a body portion constituting a basic body of the vehicular suspension arm; and a mounting portion formed in one end of the body portion and configured to connect the vehicular suspension arm to a wheel or a vehicle body of the vehicle, wherein the body portion may have a closed-box-section structure in which a hollow inner space is defined, and the closed-box-section structure may be configured such that the body portion is formed to integrally extend around the hollow inner space.

The steering arm is coupled with the suspension arm at a rotation point of the steering arm. An actuated end of the steering arm extends toward a first direction from the rotation point. The steering actuator includes an actuating end and a fixed end, and is rotatably coupled at the fixed end with the suspension arm and rotatably coupled at the actuating end with the actuated end of the steering arm. A horizontal location of the fixed end is within at least one of a horizontal cross-section of the suspension arm and a triangle defined by the rotation point and the largest width of the base axis.

A modular chassis is provided for an off-road vehicle to improve assembly, servicing, and repairing of a drivetrain of the off-road vehicle. The modular chassis includes a chassis to support components of the off-road vehicle. A front frame module couples with a front of the chassis, and a rear frame module couples with a rear of the chassis. The front frame module supports lower suspension arms of the off-road vehicle by way of inboard bushing joints. The front frame module supports at least a steering gear and a front differential of the off-road vehicle. The rear frame module is a tube-frame structure that supports components of the off-road vehicle. A lower portion of the rear frame module extends rearward and acutely upward to a top frame member that couples with upper side portions of the chassis. Several cross-members impart structural integrity to the rear frame module.

A suspension system for a wheel of a vehicle including: a wheel interface having a wheel interface axis which is an axis about which a wheel rotates when connected to the wheel interface; a first arm connected to the wheel interface and rotatable with respect to the wheel interface about a first axis that is substantially parallel to the wheel interface axis; and a second arm connected to the wheel interface and rotatable with respect to the wheel interface about a second axis that is substantially parallel to the wheel interface axis; and a damping and springing means disposed within a gap formed between the first arm and the second arm, the damping and springing means are connected at one of its ends to at least one of the first arm, the second arm and the wheel interface; wherein at least a portion of the suspension system is to be disposed within a rim of a wheel.

The present disclosure relates to a hub bracket structure wherein a hub bracket that connects a trailing arm and a hub includes a hub mounting surface, a front connecting surface that connects a front portion of the hub mounting surface and the trailing arm, and a rear connecting surface that connects a rear portion of the hub mounting surface and the trailing arm, each of the front connecting surface and the rear connecting surface is formed in a plate shape extending in up-down and vehicle width directions, and an angle formed by the hub mounting surface and the front connecting surface is greater than an angle formed by the hub mounting surface and the rear connecting surface.

In one aspect of the disclosure, a motor includes a stator configured to mount to an unsprung structure of a wheeled vehicle through at least a damper or a spring. An apparatus and a method are provided for an offset tie rod joint for vehicle steering systems. The offset tie rod joint comprises a ball rotatably retained within a casing that is disposed in an opening of an offset housing. A threaded shank fixedly coupled with the offset housing is received by a steering rod. The opening is displaced from a longitudinal axis of the threaded shank by a distance that provides clearance between the offset housing and a spindle assembly during articulation of the spindle assembly during steering. A rear backstop and a front snap-ring in a groove retain the casing within the opening. A bore extending through the ball receives a bolt that fixates the ball between parallel prongs of the spindle assembly. A misalignment spacer on each side of the ball provides clearance for rotation of the ball within the offset housing.

A three-point suspension link has a housing supported by a ball joint so as to be rotatably and swivelably movable relative to an axle connection of the link. The link further has a captive securing arrangement functioning as a stop and extending perpendicular to the central axis of the axle connection so as to prevent a separation of the housing and axle connection in the event of failure of the ball joint. The captive securing arrangement extends perpendicular to the central axis of the axle connection operatively in two spatial directions. The three-point suspension link is formed as an axle guide link for guiding a rigid axle.
