A powered vehicle suspension assembly includes a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a powered vehicle frame rail, a trailing arm assembly including a substantially rigid trailing arm having a first end pivotably coupled with the mounting bracket and a second end, where the trailing arm assembly is configured to operably couple with a powered vehicle axle arrangement, a spring arrangement supported by the second end of the trailing arm, and a structural reinforcement cross-member configured to extend between and couple with a pair of powered vehicle frame rails.

BUSHING AND VEHICLE SUSPENSION DEVICE

The bushing includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and an elastic body therebetween. The outer cylinder has a central recess portion recessed from the inner peripheral surface in the radial direction at the central portion in the axial direction, and the thickness of both end portions is thicker than the thickness of the central portion. The central recess portion is formed in a curved shape or having a curved and a straight shape. The inner cylinder has a central convex portion swelling from the outer peripheral surface in the radial direction at a position corresponding to the central recess portion. The maximum outer diameter of the central convex portion is larger than the minimum inner diameter of the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder.

BUSHING AND VEHICLE SUSPENSION DEVICE

The bushing includes an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder, and an elastic body therebetween. The outer cylinder has a central recess portion formed in a curved shape. The inner cylinder has a central convex portion being formed in a curved shape. A distance between a vertex of the central recess portion and the vertex of the central convex portion is smaller than a distance between a point other than the vertex of the central recess portion and a point at which a straight line extending from the point other than the vertex of the central recess portion to an intersection point of the perpendicular line and the axis of the inner cylinder intersects the central convex portion.

DUAL COMPOUND ELASTOMER BUSHING FOR VEHICLE SUSPENSION COMPONENT

A dual compound bushing includes a tube having a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween. A first elastomeric member having a first durometer value is arranged on the intermediate portion. A second elastomeric member having a second durometer value that is distinct from the first durometer value is arranged at the first end. A ferrule is mounted to the tube at the first end. The second elastomeric member being arranged between the ferrule and the first elastomeric member.

SUSPENSION BUSH AND SUSPENSION DEVICE

Provided are a suspension bush and a suspension device that are able to achieve both steering operability and stability of a vehicle at the time of turning. A projection portion is formed on the outer circumference of an inner cylinder. A guide is formed on the inner circumference of an outer cylinder. In the guide, a slit is formed along an extending direction that includes: a component, in a parallel direction, which runs parallel with an axial line; and a component in a circumferential direction around the axial line. The projection portion is disposed in the slit, and a threaded mechanism is formed by the projection portion and the slit.

Suspension bush

In a suspension bush in which an intermediate member is arranged between an inner shaft member and an outer tube member that are connected by a main body rubber elastic body, a central portion in the axial direction of the inner shaft member includes an inner bulging portion projecting toward the outer periphery, the outer tube member includes an outer curved portion concave toward the inner periphery, and the intermediate member includes an intermediate curved portion concave toward the inner periphery. The main body rubber elastic body is pre-compressed by diameter reduction of the outer tube member, an inclination angle of both axial end parts of the outer curved portion with respect to the axial direction is increased by diameter reduction of the outer tube member 14, and both axial end parts of the outer curved portion are pressed against axial end portions of the main body rubber elastic body.

Switchable bearing bush for a motor vehicle

Bearing bushes, for example, for a chassis of a motor vehicle are disclosed. A bearing bush may include a shaft, a hub, and an elastomer element which is arranged radially therebetween. The bearing bush may be configured to be switched between a first and second stiffness levels. The hub may have a main body and a plurality of radially adjustable plungers which are arranged in the main body. The plungers may be configured to engage the elastomer element and change the stiffness of the bearing bush from the first stiffness level to the second stiffness level. The elastomer element may have a plurality of radial elements arranged on the main body and configured to be compressed via a respective plunger in order to increase the stiffness of the bearing bush. An actuator including an electric motor may be configured to radially adjust the plungers in the main body.

Suspension

A suspension includes a housing, links, a radius arm, and a radius arm bush. The radius arm bush is provided on a front end of the radius arm, couples the radius arm to a vehicle body, with an elastic body in between, and is disposed vehicle-widthwise inwardly of a wheel center contact point of the rear wheel. The radius arm bush has higher rigidity with respect to turn of the radius arm with respect to the vehicle body in a direction in which an underside of the radius arm is displaced vehicle-widthwise outwardly from an upside of the radius arm, than rigidity with respect to turn of the radius arm with respect to the vehicle body in a direction in which the underside of the radius arm is displaced vehicle-widthwise inwardly from the upside of the radius arm.

Device for adjusting a camber and/or toe of a vehicle wheel

A device for adjusting camber and/or toe of a vehicle wheel includes a multi-part wheel carrier having a wheel-side carrier part, an axle-side guide part, and an adjusting member, in particular two rotary parts, arranged there between, by which the carrier part is swingable about a wobble point for toe and/or camber adjustment of the vehicle wheel. A bearing point is formed radially outside of the adjusting member, on which the carrier part and the guide part are articulated to one another. The bearing point is designed in a firm manner in the wheel-axle circumferential direction for support of the carrier part which is subjected to a brake torque, and is designed in a soft manner to realize a trouble-free adjustment and, compared with the wheel-axle circumferential direction, a particularly smooth adjustment of the carrier part about the toe and/or camber angle in the vehicle transverse direction.
