WEAR SLEEVE FOR A SHOCK BODY

A wear sleeve for a shock body is disclosed. The wear sleeve inner diameter (ID) that is larger than an outer diameter (OD) of a shock body. A wear sleeve OD that is smaller than a spring coupler ID, such that the wear sleeve will fit about the outside of said shock body and between the shock body and the spring coupler.

Suspension lowering system for vehicle transport

A method and apparatus for lowering the height of a wheeled vehicle for cargo height constraints during transportation. The rear leaf spring shackle on each side of the vehicle is connected to a sliding frame mount. In the transport configuration, fasteners are removed from the sliding frame mount, and the mount slides forward, rotating the rear leaf spring shackle from a near vertical to a near horizontal position, effectively lowering the height of the vehicle. To return the vehicle to the ride configuration, a screw jack member is attached to the sliding frame mount and a rear attachment point on the vehicle, pulling the sliding frame mount back, aligning attachment points of the mount with the frame member in the original position. The fasteners are reinstalled to lock the sliding frame mount into the ride configuration.

Chassis system

Example bicycle suspension components and analysis devices are described herein. An example suspension component includes a first tube and a second tube configured in a telescopic arrangement having an interior space, a spring system including a pneumatic chamber containing a mass of a gas forming a pneumatic spring configured to resist compression of the telescopic arrangement, and a suspension component analysis (SCA) device. The SCA device may include a pressure sensor to detect a pressure of the gas in the pneumatic chamber and provide a signal indicative of the detected pressure and circuitry configured to receive the signal. The circuitry and the pressure sensor are at least partially disposed in the interior space.

Suspension system, and chassis and robot with the same

The present disclosure provides a suspension system, and a chassis with the same. The system includes: a fixing frame having an opening; a suspension frame disposed at the opening; and a driving wheel rotationally coupled to the suspension frame. In which, two ends of the suspension frame are respectively disposed on two ends of the fixing frame at the two sides of the opening to be selectively moved up and down along a height direction of the fixing frame, and two elastic members are respectively disposed between each of the two ends of the suspension frame and the corresponding end of the fixing frame at the two sides of the opening. In the present disclosure, the fixing frame and the suspension frame can move with respect to each other in a vertical direction, and the resetting adjustment is realized through the elastic member.

VEHICLE SUSPENSION POSITION ADJUSTMENT ARRANGEMENT

A vehicle suspension position adjustment arrangement including a frame member having a plurality of apertures, and a trailing arm having a first end pivotally coupled to a slide member and a second end biased away from the frame member. A locking pin movable between an unlocked position where the locking pin is withdrawn from one of the apertures and the slide member is free to slide along the frame member, and a locked position where the locking pin engages one of the apertures preventing the slide member from sliding along the frame member, and a plurality of sensors spaced along the frame member, wherein a single sensor of the plurality of sensors is configured to sense both the locking condition of the locking pin and the location of the locking pin along the frame member.

Suspension with non-rotating shock absorber

A RevoKnuckle-type suspension for a wheeled vehicle has a hub mounted to a bearing carrier for rotation relative thereto about a steering axis, and a shock absorber connected non-rotatably to the bearing carrier. The shock absorber has an outer cylinder having an axially-extending guide hole defined therein, and a piston and attached piston rod retained for axial reciprocation in the guide hole. The guide hole and at least one of the piston and the piston rod retained therein have respective complementary-shaped, non-circular cross-sectional shapes which engage one another to resist axial rotation of the piston and/or the piston rod within the guide hole. The carrier is therefore restrained against rotation relative to the vehicle sprung structure without the need for any additional component(s) such as a control arm or stabilizer, as required in a traditional RevoKnuckle-type suspension.
