Arrangement of photovoltaic panels and system for optimizing angular positioning of photovoltaic panels in a greenhouse
An arrangement of photovoltaic panels is configured for installation in a greenhouse having support beams. The arrangement includes frames. Each frame includes at least one photovoltaic panel mounted on a rod. At least one motor is mechanically connected to rotate one or more rods, for bringing each photovoltaic panel to different fixed angular positions. Fittings are arranged at a perimeter of the arrangement. Each fitting is sized and shaped to attach to at least one of the support beams, such that the arrangement is supportable exclusively by the support beams. A system includes at least one such arrangement, a controller, and a plurality of sensors. The controller is programmed to select an optimal fixed angular position for each photovoltaic panel for promoting plant growth, based on environmental and plant conditions and the sensor outputs, and to instruct each motor to rotate each rod to the selected angular position.
Truss-less Greenhouse Structure with a Transparent Solar Panel Roof
A central-loadbearing greenhouse includes a first column system, a second column system, at least one intermediate column system, a plurality of roof supports, and a transparent solar roof. The first column system and the second column system are diametrically opposed to each other about the intermediate column system. A fixed end for the first column system, the intermediate column system, and the second column system are linearly mounted offset of each other. The plurality of roof supports is linearly extended from the first column system to the second column system. The plurality of roof supports is evenly distributed across an elevated end of the first column system, the intermediate column system, and the second column system. The plurality of roof supports is adjacently mounted onto the first column system, the intermediate column system, and the second column system. The transparent solar roof is mounted to the plurality of roof supports.
MULTI-TIERED THERMODYNAMICALLY EFFICIENT FOOD, FEED, AND BIOENERGY PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A tiered, modular agriculture system includes a livestock module at ambient ground level and a second module having a second interior microclimate elevated with respect to the livestock module. The second module receives air from the livestock module by way of a noncorrodible, graduated slope, heat collection duct. Each module has an interior microclimate.
Adjustable system and apparatus for promoting plant growth and production
A system and adjustable apparatus for applying CO.sub.2 gas to improve Cannabis production. The system includes upstream and downstream stages or subsystems. The upstream subsystem receives and stores gas, particularly CO2 gas. It monitors the environment of the downstream subsystem, determines when and how to apply gas to plants growing in the downstream system, acquires gas stored in the upstream subsystem, and distributes it to the downstream system. It also has various monitoring, command and control, management, and reporting features. The downstream subsystem includes one or more plant growth areas or plots, gas distribution means, such as gas conduits, tubes or lines from the midstream subsystem, and the high efficiency, adjustable gas applicator, and various sensing and monitoring devices communicatively connected to the upstream subsystem. Also disclosed are systems, apparatus and methods for pest control, humidity control, and odor control.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A MULTI-USE RURAL LAND SOLAR MODULE
Various embodiments of systems and methods for a solar module which concentrates light onto a solar cell while allowing diffuse light to pass to below crops are disclosed.
Greenhouse with photovoltaic system
A new integrated unitary system for producing electricity for a greenhouse or other metal carpentry structure associates a photovoltaic system, an innovative apparatus reflecting solar radiation, and an innovative water system for cooling and washing photovoltaic panels, which are all combined with the greenhouse or the metal carpentry structure.
PHOTOVOLTAIC GLASS PANE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING A PHOTOVOLTAIC GLASS PANE
A photovoltaic glass pane includes a glass panel, and one or more photovoltaic cells arranged on or in the glass panel. Each of the one or more photovoltaic cells has a light receiving surface to be exposed to light from a light source and being comprised of a semiconducting material having a spectral response to the light. A spectral conversion layer is arranged between the light receiving surface and the light source and is configured to convert photons from the light source of a first energy into photons of a second energy. The spectral response to the photons of the second energy is higher than the spectral response to the photons of the first energy.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PORTABLE SELF-CONTAINED GREENHOUSE
The invention provides an improved system and method for a self-contained portable greenhouse, comprising a sun-light deprivation curtain system, and with a structural arrangement that integrates the fluid (liquid and air) distribution and dispensing for such plant life-support systems as water supply and irrigation, hydroponics water, nutrient and aeration, CO2 dosing, fuel (for power generation), forced-air ventilation, whereby its associated system components are miniaturized to a scale amenable for low voltage direct-current power, which are housed within the structure. The invention also provides a system architecture wherein the electrical interface infrastructure for connecting with electricity-producing resources—such as solar panels or wind turbines—is integrated into the portable greenhouse, as is the internal electrical distribution and direct-digital control for the plant life-support systems. The invention allows for multiple portable greenhouses to be interconnected along with other distribution energy resources (DER) in a DC microgrid arrangement.

An arrangement of photovoltaic panels is configured for installation in a greenhouse having support beams. The arrangement includes frames. Each frame comprises at least one photovoltaic panel mounted on a rod.
