NETTING MATERIAL
An agricultural netting material has a construction profile across the width of the netting in which one or more construction elements varies across the width of the netting, a construction element in a first region of at least 20 cm width of the netting being different to the construction element in a second region of at least 20 cm width of the netting, the construction element being one of a yarn thickness, a yarn width, a yarn transmittance, a yarn pigmentation, a yarn reflectance, a yarn absorbance, a netting aperture size, a netting construction pattern and a netting cover factor.
LIGHT SPECTRUM-MODIFYING NETTING FOR USE IN CITRUS FRUIT PRODUCTION
A photo-selective light spectrum-modifying net for use in citrus fruit production, the net comprising a woven array of parallel and mutually spaced first threads and an array of parallel and mutually spaced second threads, the second threads being inclined to the first threads to define an array of openings between the first and second threads, wherein the first threads are uncolored and composed of a first polymer which is selected from a polymer incorporating a white pigment or dye, a transparent polymer or a translucent polymer, and the second threads are colored red and composed of a second polymer which incorporates a red pigment or dye, the second threads being adapted to transmit, scatter and reflect electromagnetic radiation in the wavelength range of from 640 to 680 nm. Also disclosed is a method of producing citrus fruit using the net.
Cover Assembly For An Enclosure
A canopy assembly for a barrier defined by at least two sides, wherein the canopy assembly including a cover assembly; and a bracket assembly, coupled to the cover assembly, wherein the bracket assembly includes at least a first bracket for coupling the cover assembly to the first side of the barrier and at least a second bracket for coupling the cover assembly to the second side of the barrier, wherein each of the at least first and second brackets have a cavity dimensioned to receive a plurality of differently dimensioned barrier top rails or wall surfaces.
Vegetated canopy apparatus, system, and method
A system may include a support structure for providing a vegetated canopy including a soil container support and a plurality of ribs disposed along the support structure, where the plurality of ribs are structurally configured to support a vegetated canopy disposed thereon. The system may also include a modular canopy structurally configured to attach to the support structure, the modular canopy including a soil container structurally configured to engage with the soil container support, a plurality of substantially rigid external members structurally configured to engage with a rib of the support structure, and a connecting member disposed along a length of the substantially rigid external members and attaching at a substantially rigid external member to another substantially rigid external member. The plurality of substantially rigid external members and the connecting members may form a trellis structurally configured to support vegetation.
Deer proof garden enclosure and method of making
A netting enclosure kit comprises a skeleton configured to operate in a plurality of configurations between a first, partially expanded configuration and a second, fully expanded configuration, a netting enclosure comprising a plurality of panels configured to be joined together to enclose or hang from the skeleton in each of the plurality of configurations, a first webbing configured to connect to a first portion of the netting enclosure, a second webbing configured to connect to a second portion of the netting enclosure, and a fastener configured to attached to the first webbing and to the second webbing to form an openable and closeable seam.
Netting materials
A netting material is knitted from at least two synthetic material yarns of which one is an opaque and the other is a transparent or translucent or different opaque yarn. A knitted netting material comprises a plurality of primary yarns knitted to form a mesh construction having an arrangement of primary apertures defined by yarn intersections and yarn connecting portions between yarn intersections, and a plurality of secondary yarns crossing over the primary apertures to form secondary apertures within the primary apertures.
TRELLIS
Trellis arrangements are used for supporting fruit-bearing plants as they grow. A problem in some orchards or the like is that it can be difficult to install trellis posts in the ground, in particular when the posts are relatively long and difficult to place at the correct angle. The invention discloses a trellis comprising a plurality of supports, each support comprising a shaft embedded in a ground, and at least one connector arm extending upwards at an acute angle with respect to the ground. The trellis is such that for each support, a post is sleeve-fitted to the connector arm so that the post extends upwards at an acute angle but does not touch the ground; the upwardly extending posts collectively support elevated lines running between the posts; and the lines support branches of a fruit bearing plant growing along the lines.
Flexible trellis net
A flexible trellis net can be used for growing plants in a grow tent having a series of tent poles. The flexible trellis net includes a trellis that has a mesh lower netting, joined to the series of tent poles, and further has lower netting latitudinal ropes knotted to lower netting longitudinal ropes creating a mesh lower netting plurality of rectangles that are configured for supporting and training the plants within the grow tent. A mesh upper netting is joined to the series of tent poles, and further has upper netting latitudinal ropes knotted to upper netting longitudinal ropes creating a mesh upper netting plurality of rectangles that are configured for supporting fruiting plants and flowers within the grow tent.
Wind-resistant portable shade shelter
A portable shade shelter has a plurality of canopies including at least a first canopy and a second canopy. The first canopy is disposed over the second canopy, and the first canopy is capable of being spaced apart from the second canopy in a vertical direction such that air is capable of flowing between the first canopy and the second canopy. Each of the first canopy and the second canopy includes a plurality of openings configured to permit air and light to pass through the respective first canopy and second canopy.
