Pest control plant container
The present invention is a flexible container to house a root ball of a plant and method of using the same. The container comprises a fabric sack, a securing ring and draw string. The fabric sack has an enclosed base and an open top that is folded over forming a narrow tubular aperture. The sack is made of a fabric having a mesh that inhibits or interferes with the life cycle of pests that infect or attempt to infect the root ball of the plant. The securing ring has a central aperture able to receive the stalk of the plant, an outer edge having a groove, an inner edge and an opening extending from the outer edge to the inner edge. The draw string is fitted through the narrow tubular aperture of the sack to enable the sack to be closed about the securing ring's outer edge groove.
Flowering plant growing system and method of using same
A flowering plant growing system utilizes a flowering plant growth assembly that enables the limbs of a flowering plant to be retained and supported along a bud platform to spread the growth out in a planar configuration. This type of growth arrangement may stimulate the plant to produce buds that are distributed across the bud platform and may grow up from the bud platform toward a cover. The height of the bud platform and cover may be adjustable as they are secured to vertical supports by retainers.
Tree-watering device, system and method
A system and method employ a pair of conventional water barrier panels connected to my tree-watering device. The tree-watering device and panels have interactive connectors configured to enable connection together. In a vertical orientation the barrier panels are sunk into the ground in which a tree is planted and below the ground surface, positioning the panels nearby each other to at least partially encompass roots of the tree. In a vertical orientation sinking the tree-watering device into the ground. A top end of my device is at or near the ground surface. A lower portion of my device has one or more openings therein facing the tree and being at least 12 inches below the ground surface. Lastly, introducing pressurized water into the interior of the tubular member so waters flows out the sidewall of the tubular member through the openings therein towards the tree.
Plant bulb protection assembly
A plant bulb protection assembly includes a tube has a first end that is tapered to penetrate ground. The tube has an inside diameter that is sufficient to accommodate a plant bulb and surround the plant bulb when the tube is inserted into ground. The tube is comprised of a resilient material to inhibit being chewed or otherwise penetrated by a rodent thereby protecting the plant bulb from being eaten by the rodent. A cage is coupled to the tube to inhibit rodents from entering the tube from above the ground. A retainer is coupled to the tube and a grapple is movably coupled to the tube. The grapple is positioned on an opposite side of the tube with respect to the retainer. Moreover, the grapple releasably engages the retainer on an adjacent one of the tubes with respect to the tube on which the grapple is positioned.
FRUIT BAG FOR A FRUIT OF FRUIT TREE WITH NANO-LAMINATION FILM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Provided are a fruit bag and a method thereof, for example, a fruit bag for a fruit of a fruit tree may include: an inner surface configured to surround the fruit; an outer surface configured to exposed to an outside; an opening formed in a predetermined size at the same position of the inner surface and the outer surface; a nano membrane generated by an electrospinning of a polymer solution as a raw material for nano-fibers; a non-woven fabric for strength reinforcement laminated on one or both sides of the nano membrane and a nano-lamination film covering the entire surface of the opening thereby while maintaining excellent air permeability, it is possible to properly maintain the humidity and against various external environmental effects.
PLANT-CULTIVATING AND PROTECTING APPARATUS
A plant-cultivating and protecting apparatus wraps overlapped smaller and larger plant-cultivating media. The plant-cultivating and protecting apparatus includes a cover and a frame. The cover extends around an upper portion of the plant-cultivating medium. The frame extends around a lower portion of the smaller plant-cultivating medium. The frame is formed on the cover in one piece, thereby avoiding detachment of the frame from the cover.
Tree protection system
A tree protection system including a flexible UV-stable first layer including a plurality of openings between about 5 mm and about 9 mm formed therein, the first layer configured to protectively surround at least a base of a tree, and a unitary fastener adapted to secure overlapping opposed portions of the first layer together during protectively surrounding the at least a base of a tree in response to application of a single force directed toward the opposed portions.
Bottomless in-ground water conservation and contamination prevention garden plant watering well with external helical threads
An in-ground plant container with a watering-well that is open at both ends and is functional and decorative. The above-ground portion in this present embodiment has a round bowl-shaped water well and broadly rounded lip for ease of gripping and placing in an appropriately sized hole. The bowl of the watering-well keeps the plant container above ground. The bottom, below ground portion, has vertical fins for lateral stability in the soil. This embodiment also has external helical threads at its base for ease of placement in loosened soil. The above ground portion of the plant container watering-well can be wider than the base and replaces the organic soil watering-well. This in-ground plant container with watering-well is for conserving water, and the containment of localized water contaminated by pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
Plant cover with insect resistant bag for enclosing a plant
A plant cover apparatus includes a bag having an interior encompassed by a wall that extends from a top end of the bag and tapers inwardly to a bottom end of the bag. The bottom end includes a rim that laterally circumscribes a plant-receiving opening formed through the bag. The bag has a slot that extends vertically from the opening through the wall. The slot includes opposed margins having cooperatively interlocking parts that can temporarily be joined and separated to increase the size of the opening. The bag may be vertically suspended from a support member positioned next to the plant. An exterior perimeter of the bag may be rigid enough to help the bag maintain its shape when suspended.
PLANT CARE TUBES AND METHOD FOR USING PLANT CARE TUBES
An apparatus for helping plant growth, including a first tube having a cross-section and a width to accommodate lateral growth, and having a length to surround at least half the height of the foliage and at least half the depth of the roots. The first tube has a top and bottom end, the bottom end having attachment features that engage with the attachment features of a removably attachable bottom to form a nursery pot. The first tube is cylindrical or square with a length of 10 to 14 inches, and a diameter or width of 10 inches, the corresponding removably attachable bottom being similarly sized and shaped. A second tube has a similarly shaped cross-section, with a width 1-3 inches wider and a length 1-3 inches longer than the first tube. A method for growing plants from seedlings and a set of tubes for helping plant growth are also presented.
