MODULAR PLANT PROTECTION
The present invention provides a modular apparatus for protecting a plant from invasive species and adapting a protective area as a plant grows with little to no post-planting maintenance. For example, a modular apparatus comprises a base comprising a first rim, a water storage, and a plug-in-joint, a lid comprising a second rim and an opening, wherein the first rim is configured to correspondingly fit the second rim, wherein the opening is configured to correspondingly fit the plug-in joint; and a recess disposed on an edge of the base and on an edge of the lid. An infinite number of modular apparatuses can be coupled to expand protection for plant growth. The modular plant protecting apparatus can be installed manually or deployed by an aerial vehicle into degraded areas with limited-access.
Multipurpose barrier and gardening system for plantation
A barrier and gardening tool for forming a safe barrier around the base of a tree, raised garden, plant, or flower area. The tool is an open cylindrical barrier made by fastening two semi-circular body portions or members using stakes. The tool has flag holes for attaching small flags and other decorations thereto. The tool is positioned around a wall for protecting the flower area and in the form of a multi-tiered architecture for protecting trunk and roots of a tree while providing protected space for growing plants, flowers, plants, shrubs and more. The tool is made of non-toxic, durable, and corrosion-resistant material and is used as a temporary or permanent enclosure.
TREE NET ASSEMBLY
A tree net assembly includes a pole that is vertically oriented and is positioned adjacent to a plant. A pair of globes is each of the globes slidably positioned around the pole, and each of the globes has a plurality of wells each extending toward a center of a respective one of the globes. A plurality of rods is provided and each of the rods is comprised of a resiliently bendable material. Each of the rods is removably coupled between the globes when the globes are positioned on the pole. Moreover, the globes are spaced apart from each other a distance that is less than a length of the rods. Thus, the rods curve outwardly from the pole when the rods are coupled between the globes thereby facilitating the plurality of rods to define a sphere surrounding the plant. A net is positionable around the rods when the rods are positioned in the globes having the net surrounding the plant. In this way the net inhibits animal pests from accessing the plant.
TREE SHELTER
A method of making tree shelters comprises mixing a soil biodegradable resin with wood particles, extruding the resulting mixture through an annular die to form a tube, allowing the resin to cure, and then cutting the extruded tube into predetermined lengths to form tree shelters.
ENCAPSULATED AND SEGREGATED GROWTH CONTAINERS
An agricultural yield apparatus with a container made of a material that is impermeable to water and inert without leaching impurities to the surrounding natural environment and thereby is effective in segregating contents of the container from the surrounding natural environment and blocking seepage of the contents to the surrounding natural environment. The container encloses nutrients, water and a growth medium such as soil. The top of the container is closed except for at least one water and nutrition port and at least one vegetation growth port (or neck). The trunk of the vegetation passes through the at least one vegetation growth port (or neck). The container may be closed by a root membrane overlay having holes. The trunk of the vegetation passes through the holes in the holed root membrane overlay. Root direction channels may be beneath the overlay.
Tree Rooting Enclosure Apparatus
Embodiments of the present invention are related to a tree rooting enclosure apparatus including a body with a cylindrical body base and a pair of opposing tapered ends culminating into a pair of opposing end openings. The body may include a plurality of longitudinal channels extending the length of the cylindrical body base. The apparatus as a whole may be comprised of two removably engaged halves forming a water-resistant fit.
MORE EFFICIENT STRUCTURAL CELL FOR FACILITATING TREE ROOT GROWTH
A structural cell system for supporting hardscape, allowing tree root growth, and managing stormwater underneath the hardscape. The system may include: a base having a plurality of receptacles and a plurality of support members interconnecting the receptacles; a plurality of legs each sized and shaped to be attachable to the base within one of the receptacles so as to extend from the base, and to be attachable to another of the legs so that pairs of legs attached to each other collectively extend from the base; and a top attachable to the legs. Outer edges of the base, the top, and the legs attached thereto define a volume, and are configured to support at least that portion of the hardscape overlying the top as well as a commercial vehicle traffic load thereon, while maintaining soil in a substantially uncompacted state throughout at least approximately ninety percent of the volume.
LIGHT EMITTING STRUCTURES
A light emitting structure includes a plurality of structural members forming a framework, wherein the framework has a plurality of spaces between the plurality of structural members; a lighting circuit integrally connected to one or more of the plurality of structural members; and a plurality of light emitting diodes electrically connected to the lighting circuit, wherein the plurality of light emitting diodes are integrally connected to the plurality of structural members via the lighting circuit; wherein the plurality of structural members are constructed to support one or more plants.
PROTECTIVE BARRIER FOR PLANT ROOTS
A root protective barrier includes a sidewall and a base. The sidewall includes a plurality of crisscrossing rods defining openings therebetween. The sidewall further includes an upper edge defining a top opening and a lower edge defining a bottom opening. The base includes a plurality of crisscrossing rods defining openings therebetween. The base further includes an upper surface, a lower surface, and an outer edge. The lower edge of the sidewall is coupled to the upper surface of the base so that the base covers the bottom opening. The root protective barrier is made of a polymer, such as a plastic, so that the root protective barrier does not degrade over time.
Tree-Watering Device, System And Method
A system and method employ a pair of conventional water barrier panels connected to my tree-watering device. The tree-watering device and panels have interactive connectors configured to enable connection together. In a vertical orientation the barrier panels are sunk into the ground in which a tree is planted and below the ground surface, positioning the panels nearby each other to at least partially encompass roots of the tree. In a vertical orientation sinking the tree-watering device into the ground. A top end of my device is at or near the ground surface. A lower portion of my device has one or more openings therein facing the tree and being at least 12 inches below the ground surface. Lastly, introducing pressurized water into the interior of the tubular member so waters flows out the sidewall of the tubular member through the openings therein towards the tree.
