Vegetative support and high stress training cultivation apparatus
A vegetative support and high stress training cultivation apparatus includes a body member having a continuous channel wrought in an upward surface thereof. A first portion of the body member is disposed at 100 to 110 relative a second portion of the body member. A plant limb is securable into the continuous channel by action of each of a pair of hook and loop fastening bands attached to the body member and devised to secure overtop the plant limb and maintain the limb interior to the continuous channel whereby the plant limb is caused to bend between 100 to 110 over a knee-bend. A triangular bracket disposed on an undersurface of the body member enables hooking engagement to existing lines strung to anchor the plant limbs along projected trajectories. The body member is readily installable and removable without damaging the plant.

Guard
A guard includes a wall arrangement defining, or being configurable to define, an enclosure. The wall arrangement having, or is configurable to have, an aperture for receiving an elongate support to secure the enclosure to a ground surface. The aperture is defined at least by two side edges that provide the aperture with an aperture height and that are spaced apart from each other to provide the aperture with an aperture width.
Plant Bulb Protection Assembly
A plant bulb protection assembly includes a tube has a first end that is tapered to penetrate ground. The tube has an inside diameter that is sufficient to accommodate a plant bulb and surround the plant bulb when the tube is inserted into ground. The tube is comprised of a resilient material to inhibit being chewed or otherwise penetrated by a rodent thereby protecting the plant bulb from being eaten by the rodent. A cage is coupled to the tube to inhibit rodents from entering the tube from above the ground. A retainer is coupled to the tube and a grapple is movably coupled to the tube. The grapple is positioned on an opposite side of the tube with respect to the retainer. Moreover, the grapple releasably engages the retainer on an adjacent one of the tubes with respect to the tube on which the grapple is positioned.
System and method for growing and protecting seedlings
A system and method for growing and protecting tree seedlings is provided. The system includes potting tubes that may function as a pot for growing seedlings and additionally as a tree guard for protecting transplanted tree seedlings from pests. The potting tubes are open at both ends and may be secured to a bottom end cap for use as a pot. After a growth period, the end cap can be removed and the tree can be transplanted with the tube surrounding the tree for use as a tree guard. The system includes a tray with end caps attached to the tray for transporting and transplanting large numbers of tree seedlings.
Tree and shrub protector reservoir
A tree/shrub protector includes a circular underground drip reservoir that may hold about seven gallons of water and extended about eighteen inches underground. It focuses water and nutrients onto a root ball to encourage downward root growth. Above ground modules include a hard shell reservoir that provides pest protection as well. Another above ground module is a wire type protective fence and/or trellis that has reservoirs as well. A second embodiment has a grill or fence having spikes driven into the ground for support. One or more water reservoirs are integrated into the fence. Variable flow drip tubes feed underground drip pipes from the reservoirs. Vertical poles have uses including tree support, holding a winter shroud, and supporting a fence and/or trellis. The fence is modular to fit inside a thin box. An optional anti-rodent spiked ring is included. All embodiments can reduce returns to a tree vendor.
COLLAPSIBLE PLANT SUPPORT
A novel collapsible plant support includes a collapsible coil adapted to rest on a flat surface. In a particular embodiment, the collapsible plant support includes a plurality of vertical support structures coupled to the collapsible coil so as to provide additional support. In another particular embodiment, a collapsible plant support includes plant receptacle receiving element that supports both a collapsible coil and also a plant receptacle. In a more particular embodiment, the plant receptacle receiving element includes fluid ducts for connecting multiple plant receptacle receiving elements into a fluid network. In another embodiment, the coil is disposed within a helical sleeve coupled to a flexible, cylindrical mesh.
GROW TUBE
A grow tube includes a first side, a second side, a first end portion, a second end portion, a first edge portion, a second edge portion, and a vent. The second side is opposite the first side, the second end portion is opposite the first end portion, the second edge portion is opposite the first edge portion, and the first and second edge portions and the first and second end portions define the first and second sides. The vent extends between the first side and the second side and comprises a flap and an opening. The vent can be V-shaped in some instances. The grow tube can also include one or more locking tabs and/or adjustment mechanisms, which allow the grow tube to be moved between tubular and flat configurations and/or allow a diameter of the grow tube in the tubular configuration to be adjusted, respectively.
Enclosing vegetative sheath
An enclosing plant sheath for encircling and protecting a plant stem or vine, which may be joined with other similar sheaths, to create a beneficial microenvironment for developing plants.
System for protecting plant seedlings
A system for protecting from bad weather plants seedlings arranged in rows, wherein the system includes: at least one body configured to be positioned nearby at least one row of plants seedlings; at least one first protection member configured to be deployed above the plants seedlings in at least one first position so as to cover at least partially the plants seedlings of the row and to be retracted in at least one second position so as to uncover the plants seedlings of the row, the first protection member being fastened to said body; and at least one control device configured to enable the deployment and retraction of the first protection member, the body including at least one first receiving chamber extending at least partially at a first longitudinal side of said body, the first receiving chamber configured to receive the at least one protection member in the retracted position.
