HVAC case
An HVAC case having an airflow junction. A mount is at the airflow junction and is configured to individually mount a door and an airflow blocker at the airflow junction. The door is mounted at the mount of the airflow junction to configure the HVAC case for use with HVAC systems configured for airflow through the airflow junction. The airflow blocker is mounted at the mount of the airflow junction to configure the HVAC case for use with HVAC systems not configured for airflow through the airflow junction.
Motor vehicle heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning device and corresponding additional module and method of assembly
The invention relates to a motor vehicle heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning device (2) comprising a housing (4) comprising: a duct (14) for distributing a flow of air at foot level in the front of the said vehicle, a first (15) and a second (22) mixing chamber, a dividing flap (32) separating the said mixing chambers (15, 22). According to the invention, the housing (4) has a first opening (17) opening into the first mixing chamber (15) and a second opening (27) opening into the second mixing chamber (22), one on each side of the dividing flap (32), and an assembly cavity near the said duct (14), the said device (2) further comprises: a partition (C) able to close off the first (17) or the second (27) opening according to the mode of operation, and an additional module (200; 300) arranged in the assembly cavity to delimit a canal for the circulation of the flow of air between the first (14) or the second (27) opening and the said duct (14). The invention also relates to a corresponding additional module (200; 300) and to a corresponding method of assembly.
Air conditioning control system and method for vehicles
An air conditioning control system and method for a vehicle may include: an alternate control entering temperature difference excess determination step of determining whether a difference in temperature between a side vent temperature sensor and a shower duct temperature sensor exceeds an alternate control entering temperature difference; and an alternate control step of determining that a side vent grill may have been closed, when the difference exceeds the alternate control entering temperature difference, and performing an alternate control operation of regarding the temperature of air measured by the shower duct temperature sensor as the temperature of air discharged from the side vent grill and controlling a temperature of air to be discharged from a center vent grill.
Air conditioner for vehicle
Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle. The present invention provides an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of introducing indoor air and outdoor air simultaneously or selectively by forming a double-layer flow in an air conditioner case and capable of separately controlling the temperatures of a front seat and a rear seat.
AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
An air-conditioning device for vehicle has a case and an outlet unit. The outlet unit has a vent door. The vent door is capable of stopping at a face mode position where a center vent outlet and a side vent outlet are opened, a bi-level mode position where a center vent outlet and the side vent outlet are opened, and a heat mode position where the center vent outlet is closed and the side vent outlet is opened. The vent door is movable from the face mode position to the heat mode position via the bi-level mode position. The case has a fixed guide member. The fixed guide member controls an air flow in the case in the bi-level position by facing the vent door positioned in the bi-level mode position.
HVAC SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle may include: a casing having an inlet and a plurality of outlets; an evaporator disposed within the casing; a heater core disposed behind the evaporator within the casing; and an air mixing door disposed between the evaporator and the heater core. In particular, the heater core and a rear wall of the casing are spaced apart from each other by a first distance, the evaporator and the heater core are spaced apart from each other by a second distance, and the first distance is greater than the second distance.
Air conditioner apparatus for electric vehicles and air conditioning system for electric vehicles using the same
An air conditioner apparatus for electric vehicles includes: an air conditioning case installed under an under body of a vehicle, and configured to communicate with an interior of the vehicle through an outlet formed through an upper portion of the air conditioning case and circulate conditioned air therein; an HVAC module provided inside the air conditioning case, and configured to adjust temperatures of indoor air and outdoor air and to provide the conditioned air to the interior of the vehicle; and a heat exchange module provided below the HVAC module inside the air conditioning case and configured to exchange heat with the HVAC module depending on whether or not the HVAC module performs a heating or cooling operation.
HVAC door actuation system
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system including a plurality of airflow control doors. A plurality of door gears are in cooperation with the plurality of airflow control doors such that rotation of each one of the plurality of door gears actuates a different one of the plurality of airflow control doors to control airflow through the HVAC system. A selector gear is moveable to individually rotate each one of the plurality of door gears to selectively actuate different ones of the plurality of airflow control doors. A power gear rotates the selector gear.
Air conditioner for vehicle
An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a case having an air passage; a heat exchanger having a core portion in which heat is exchanged between air and a heat medium; a support portion provided in the case to support a lower portion of the heat exchanger; and a cushioning material interposed between the lower portion of the heat exchanger and the support portion. The lower portion of the heat exchanger has a pipe side adjacent to an inflow pipe or an outflow pipe for the heat medium and an opposite-to-pipe side located on an opposite side of the pipe side. The support portion includes a pipe side support that supports the pipe side, and an opposite-to-pipe side support that supports the opposite-to-pipe side. A surface area of the opposite-to-pipe side support in contact with the cushioning material is larger than that of the pipe side support.
Air conditioning unit for vehicle
An air conditioning case defines a warm air passage, a cool air passage, a first space, and a second space therein. The cool air passage is in communication with the first space. The warm air passage is in communication with the first space. The second space is connected to the first space on a side of the first space away from the cool air passage. A case interior member including a tunnel member and a blade is arranged in the first space. The tunnel member includes an upstream-end forming portion and a downstream-end forming portion. The upstream-end forming portion is open to the warm air passage. The downstream-end forming portion is open in a direction away from the upstream-end forming portion. The blade extends from the downstream-end forming portion to both sides along a width direction, and guides the air from the tunnel channel to diffuse along the width direction.
