AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FOR VEHICLE
20180134113 · 2018-05-17 ·

An air conditioning case in an air conditioning unit for a vehicle forms a first air passage, a second air passage bypassing the first air passage, and a mixing space connected to a first blowing port and a second blowing port through which air is blown out into a vehicle interior. A cooling heat exchanger cools and allows air to flow into the first air passage and the second air passage. A heating heat exchanger is disposed in the first air passage. A tunnel forming portion provides a tunnel passage into which a part of air from the first air passage flows. The tunnel forming portion includes a first outflow portion connected to the first blowing port, and a second outflow portion connected to the second blowing port, and separates the air flowing in the tunnel passage from the air flowing from the second air passage.

VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING SETTING DEVICE

A vehicle air conditioning setting device functioning with a vehicle air conditioning device for setting a direction of air blown out from an air outlet and a degree of concentration and diffusion of the air is provided. The vehicle air conditioning setting device includes: a display unit that displays an air range designation image including an occupant image representing an occupant seated on a seat of the vehicle; a touch panel overlapped with the display unit; and an air range setting unit that sets an air range representing the direction of the air and the degree of concentration and diffusion of the air based on an operation range of the touch panel on the air range designation image. When a drag operation is performed on the touch panel, the air range setting unit sets the air range based on a range of the drag operation.

Two door structure for partial recirculation in an air conditioning system

A heating, ventilation and air conditioning system includes a blower unit that has an interior air intake and an exterior air intake. Two doors are moved between open and closed positions to define a recirculation mode, a fresh mode and a partial recirculation mode. As the doors move between their open and closed positions, a variable partial mode and a variable fresh mode are defined.

Air conditioner for vehicle and controlling method thereof

An air conditioner for a vehicle and a method of controlling the air conditioner to variably control a position of a rear seat cold air control door depending on a position of a front seat temperature-adjusting door. The position of the rear seat cold air control door is controlled according to rear seat air-conditioning modes (rear seat temperature-adjusting modes). In an air-conditioning case, the rear seat cold air control door is mounted on a rear seat air passageway, thereby distributing an optimal volume of cold air to the front seat air passageway and the rear seat air passageway by preventing a large volume of cold air from being supplied to the rear seat air passageway in the rear seat temperature-adjusting mode, securing linearity of temperature discharged to the rear seat.

Device for reversing chiller airflow in an aircraft galley
09919575 · 2018-03-20 · ·

A device for reversing chiller airflow in an aircraft galley includes an air bypass port connected between a supply airflow duct and a return airflow duct, and an air recirculation bypass flap is movable between a closed position allowing normal airflow circulation through the supply airflow duct and an open position blocking the supply airflow duct and diverting chilled supply airflow to the return airflow duct for recirculation. The air recirculation bypass flap is electrically actuated by a solenoid responsive to a bay door position detector.

An air conditioning unit for a vehicle includes: a heat exchanger arranged in an engine compartment partitioned by a fire wall from a cabin; a first case arranged in the engine compartment to house the heat exchanger; and a second case arranged in the cabin to send air from the heat exchanger into the cabin. The fire wall has: a through hole passing through the fire wall so as to connect the first case and the second; and an air passage hole that defines an air passage to send air from the cabin into the engine compartment. The heat exchanger is arranged so that an entire area of the air passage hole is located inside a projection area defined by projecting the heat exchanger from a front to a rear of the vehicle.
