The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle having a rear seat outlet, which can relieve temperature inversion that discharge temperature of the console vent becomes higher than discharge temperature of a rear seat floor vent in a bi-level mode, and prevent reduction of air volume of the console vent in the cooling mode. The air conditioner for a vehicle, which has a rear seat outlet, includes an air-conditioning case having an air passageway formed therein and a plurality of air outlets, and a cooling heat exchanger and a heating heat exchanger disposed in the air passageway of the air-conditioning case to exchange heat with air passing through the air passageway, wherein the air outlets include a console vent and a rear seat floor vent, and an entrance of the rear seat floor vent is formed above an entrance of the console vent.

Humidity detector

A humidity detector a humidity sensor detecting a relative humidity of an air inside a sensor case housing the humidity sensor. The humidity detector has an air volume obtaining section, a flow direction obtaining section, a setting section, and a correction section. The air volume obtaining section obtains air volume information correlated with an air volume of the air flowing around the humidity sensor. The flow direction obtaining section obtains flow direction information correlated with a flow direction of the air flowing around the humidity sensor. The setting section sets correction factors configuring a dynamic compensator based on the air volume information and the flow direction information. The dynamic compensator compensates for a response delay of the humidity sensor. The correction section corrects a detection value, which is detected by the humidity sensor, by using the dynamic compensator to obtain the relative humidity of the air.

AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT FOR VEHICLE

An air-conditioning unit for a vehicle includes an air conditioning case, a blower, and a rectifying mechanism. The blower has a blower fan rotating around a fan axis and arranged in an in-case passage of the air conditioning case, and blows out air drawn from one side in an axial direction of the fan axis by rotation of the blower fan. The rectifying mechanism is arranged downstream of the blower fan in the in-case passage, and the air passes through the rectifying mechanism. The blower fan is arranged so that the other side of the fan axis that is opposite to the one side extends toward a downstream side of the in-case passage. The rectifying mechanism suppresses a swirling flow generated by the rotation of the blower fan in the air blown out from the blower fan as compared with the blown-out air prior to flowing into the rectifying mechanism.
