Provided is a vehicle including: a vehicle main body including an electrical device that generates heat when the vehicle travels; a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between outside air and a refrigerant; and cooling piping that constitutes a flow passage through which the refrigerant circulates between the electrical device and the heat exchanger, with a part of the flow passage being routed on a lower surface side of and in contact with a floor panel that constitutes a part of the vehicle main body.

MODULAR CLIMATE SYSTEM ENABLING FLEXIBLE MULTI-ZONE TEMPERATURE AND MODE CONTROL IN AUTOMOTIVE HVAC SYSTEMS

A multi-zone climate control system for vehicles includes a front HVAC unit and one or more additional units that can be configured to provide conditioned air to one or more rear climate zones. The front HVAC unit is adapted to condition air provided to at least one front climate zone. The front HVAC unit may include a cold air outlet that supplies cold air to an electrically-powered heater positioned in a console of the vehicle. The electrically-powered heater includes an electricity-to-air heat exchanger to control a temperature of conditioned air supplied to at least one rear zone of the passenger compartment. The system may include an auxiliary climate control system having an auxiliary heater core and an auxiliary evaporator positioned in a rear portion of the vehicle to provide conditioned air to one or more rear climate zones.

Motor vehicle floor

A motor vehicle floor system includes an integral seat attachment point, and an over-molded seat attachment insert of a floor. The integral seat attachment point is provided on the seat attachment insert.

VEHICLE INTERIOR PANEL WITH THERMOELECTRIC AIR CONDITIONING
20210046798 · 2021-02-18 ·

A vehicle interior panel includes a thermoelectric air conditioner capable of providing conditioned air locally within a passenger cabin of the vehicle. Air is drawn from the passenger cabin through an intake port in the panel, conditioned locally along a back side of the panel by a thermoelectric device, and discharged back into the cabin through a discharge port in the panel. Additional air flows along a waste side of the thermoelectric device and can be discharged outside the passenger cabin. The panel can be an interior door panel from which the waste side air is discharged within a B-pillar of the vehicle body.

VEHICLE CABIN AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

A vehicle cabin air conditioning system has an individual air conditioner for conditioning air in a target space in a cabin. The individual air conditioner has a blower, a suction port, a heat generator, and a supply port. The heat generator concurrently generates cold heat and warm heat inside the housing. At least one of the cold air cooled with the cold heat and the warm air heated with the warm heat is supplied from the supply port to the target space. The vehicle cabin air conditioning system has a thermal load reducing unit and a supply flow path. The thermal load reducing unit adjusts the temperature of air sucked from the suction port in order to reduce the thermal load in the heat generator. The supply flow path guides the air controlled in temperature by the thermal load reducing unit to the suction port.

HVAC SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle may include a heating body positioned inside an HVAC duct of the vehicle, formed between a first electrode portion and a second electrode portion having polarities opposite to each other. The heating body is configured to generate heat when the heating body is electrified to increase a temperature of an air being transported through the HVAC duct.
