Air Distribution Apparatus
The present embodiments relate to an air distribution apparatus for distributing conditioned airflow from a roof mounted air conditioner to the inside of a vehicle, which includes an inlet port adapted to receive the conditioned airflow from the roof mounted air conditioner. An outlet port, which is disposed adjacent to each longitudinal end of the apparatus, delivers conditioned airflow to the vehicle. An internal supply duct is adapted to evenly split the conditioned airflow to the outlet ports.
Vehicles and Methods for Cooling a Cabin Using a Cold Roof
Vehicles and methods for cooling a cabin using a cold roof of the vehicle are provided. The vehicle includes a roof, a cabin, and an insulation layer disposed between the roof and the cabin. The vehicle also includes a passage that fluidly couples the roof with the cabin. The passage is switchable between an open mode and a closed mode. The passage is switched between the open mode and the closed mode depending on a relationship between a roof temperature, a cabin temperature, and/or a threshold temperature. The passage may be formed through the insulation layer or extend outside of the insulation layer fluidly coupling the roof with the cabin.
Rooftop air conditioning unit for buses
The present disclosure discloses a rooftop air conditioning unit for a bus or other vehicle. The air conditioning unit includes a frame, a condenser section mounted on the frame and a HVAC section mounted on the frame. The condenser section is positioned along a central longitudinal axis of the air conditioning unit, and the HVAC section is positioned in a distributed way on the two opposite sides of the condenser section and comprises at least one pair of HVAC modules, each of which includes a box-shaped base of plastic material mounted on the frame, inside which a respective blower, evaporator and heater are mounted.
Air-conditioning apparatus for vehicle
An air-conditioning apparatus for a vehicle includes a casing that an air inlet which communicates with an opening formed in a roof of a vehicle and through which air in the vehicle is formed in, and an apparatus main body that is installed in the casing and conditions the air, in the vehicle, which is sucked through the air inlet. A wiring through hole for passing a wiring cable extending from the apparatus main body through a space between the roof of the vehicle and the casing is formed in a bottom plate of the casing. The wiring cable is disposed so as to be passed through the space between the bottom plate and the roof of the vehicle via the wiring through hole from the apparatus main body and to extend into the opening from a position that is in the bottom plate and above the opening of the vehicle.
SUN VISOR MODULE
A sun visor module includes: a base portion which has an accommodating space formed therein and a front portion provided at the ceiling of a front seat of a vehicle in an openable or closable form; a sun visor portion which is provided at the center of the inside of the base portion and slides in or out through the front portion of the base portion; a screen-shaped awning portion which is provided at a lower portion of the inside of the base portion to be entered in or out to the front portion of the base portion; an air discharge portion which is connected with an A-pillar of the vehicle to introduce the wind flowing in the A-pillar into the base portion; and a first blowing portion which communicates with the rear lower portion of the base portion to send the wind to the inside of the vehicle.
Adaptable roof-mounted air conditioning system for vehicles
An air conditioning system for mounting on a vehicle roof includes a condenser module and an evaporator module. The condensor module includes an inlet for receiving a compressed fluid, a heat exchanger for condensing the fluid and transferring heat from the fluid, and an outlet for releasing the condensed fluid. The evaporator module includes a deformable base for placement on the roof, that conforms to the roof's curvature. The evaporator module also includes an inlet receiving the cooled condensed fluid from the condensor outlet, an expansion valve for vaporizing the fluid, a heat exchanger for transferring heat to the vaporized fluid, and an outlet for returning the heated vaporized fluid to the condenser module via a compressor. The evaporator module also includes an interchangeable end plate connected to an end of the base, which maintains the base in a shape that conforms to the curvature of the roof.
ROOF ASSEMBLY FOR AN AUTONOMOUS WORK VEHICLE
A roof assembly for an autonomous work vehicle includes a roof panel having an outer surface. The roof assembly also includes a lighting assembly having a light-transmissive panel and a light source. The light-transmissive panel is coupled to the roof panel, the light-transmissive panel has an outer surface, the outer surface of the roof panel completely surrounds the outer surface of the light-transmissive panel, and the light source is configured to emit light through the light-transmissive panel. The light source is configured to receive a signal from a controller indicative of a selected status indication of a group of status indications and to emit the light based on the selected status indication, the group of status indications correspond to a respective group of operating states of the autonomous work vehicle, and the selected status indication corresponds to a current operating state of the group of operating states.
Vehicular cooling system
A vehicular cooling system is provided which includes a water tank, a cooling unit, a vent unit, a closed loop conduit assembly, and a water pump. The cooling unit includes an evaporative media in the shape of a closed loop structure having a center hole. The evaporative media is gas porous and preferably made of bactericidal wood shavings. The water pump pumps water from the water tank to saturate the evaporative media to provide water-saturated-air. The cooling unit includes an air pump for sucking air through the evaporative media into a vehicle's interior. Advantageously, the vehicular cooling system requires minimal modification of a vehicle structure.
Rooftop-mounted air-conditioning installation
A rooftop-mounted air-conditioning installation, in particular for the roof of a bus, has at least having a condenser unit and an evaporator unit. It has an air-flow duct with at least one air intake opening and one air discharge opening. A heat exchanger and a radial fan are arranged in the air-flow duct between the air intake opening and the air discharge opening. An axis of rotation of a fan wheel of the radial fan is oriented parallel to an air flow main direction that extends through the air-flow duct from the at least one air intake opening through the heat exchanger to the radial fan.
