A modular textile printing apparatus is made up of multiple modules which are combined together. Each module has one rail for bearing a printing functional unit such as a print head. A second rail perpendicular to the first rail faces the first rail, and carries a printing tray or platen holding items to be printed. The tray moves along the rail. A third rail parallel to said second rail and facing away from the printing functional unit, is also for carrying the tray. The modules are connected together and the apparatus provides a starting point for loading and unloading the trays. The second rails are aligned with each other to form a continuous printing feed along the modules and the third rails are aligned to provide a return path after printing to the starting point for reloading.

An expandable refrigeration system for vehicles includes a generally rigid frame member having a plurality of walls that define a first hollow interior space. An expandable cooler body that includes a plurality of expandable wall sections is connected to the rigid frame member. The expandable body section is positioned within the first hollow interior space when the system is collapsed, and extends outward therefrom when the system is in the expanded configuration. A refrigeration unit is secured to the rigid frame member and controls a temperature of the expandable body section. A transitional wall member selectively operates as a lid for the cooler body and to secure the cooler body within the frame member.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COOLING AND HEATING IN A VEHICLE

According to some embodiments, there is provided an air conditioning system for a vehicle. The vehicle may be a locomotive. The air conditioning system includes a combination module for mounting in or on a vehicle. The combination module includes a condenser coil and a compressor assembly. The compressor assembly includes an electric motor. The combination module may be mounted to cover a hole in an outer wall or floor of the vehicle, such that air enters the hole ventilates the condenser coil. The system also includes at least one air handler for mounting in a cab of the vehicle, remote from combination module. Each air handler comprises a respective evaporator coil. A combination module including a compressor assembly is also provided. A method for installing the combination module is also provided.

Vehicle body with HVAC unit

A vehicle includes a vehicle body and an HVAC unit. The vehicle body has a first structure and a second structure that define a gap. The HVAC unit is fixed to the vehicle body and includes a motor and a case housing the motor. The case is disposed in the gap, abuts the first structure and the second structure, and reinforces the vehicle body between the first structure and the second structure.
