INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus for controlling air conditioning for a predetermined vehicle, the information processing apparatus comprises a controller configured to execute: starting an air-conditioning mode which is a mode for causing air conditioning to operate in a state in which travel is prohibited, based on a request transmitted from a first apparatus; causing the air-conditioning mode to end when a first period passes; and extending the first period when a predetermined condition is satisfied in the vehicle.
TRANSPORT CLIMATE CONTROL REMOTE MANAGEMENT
A method of remotely managing a transport climate control system (TCCS) includes a remote management device receiving performance data from the TCCS. The performance data based on one or more detected operating parameters of the climate control circuit. The method also including the remote management device providing the performance data to one or more user devices. A remote management system includes a remote management device configured to receive performance data for a climate control circuit from a climate controller of a TCCS and to provide the performance data to one or more user devices. A TCCS includes a controller configured to: generate performance data based on the one or more detected operating parameters of a climate control circuit, and transmit the performance data to a remote monitoring device. The climate controller also configured to receive an operating instruction from the remote monitoring device.
CLIMATE CONTROL VALIDATION FOR K9 POLICE VEHICLES
A wireless mobile device is used to control an HVAC temperature setpoint in a police vehicle containing a police dog. A wireless signal specifying a commanded temperature setting is checked to prevent malicious adjustments by a hacker. The commanded temperature setting is rejected when it is outside a predetermined range between an absolute minimum and an absolute maximum. When an outside ambient temperature is below a cold-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature decrease. When the outside ambient temperature is above a hot-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature increase. Otherwise, when the commanded temperature setting is not rejected as being outside the predetermined range, as being a decrease when below the cold-day threshold, or as being an increase when above the hot-day threshold, then the temperature setpoint is set to match the commanded setting.
VEHICLE AIR-CONDITIONING CONTROLLER
A vehicle air-conditioning controller includes a battery temperature sensor configured to detect a battery temperature of a battery, a cooling-air temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of cooling air that has passed an evaporator, and an air-conditioning ECU configured to determine a target ejection temperature of air to be ejected into a vehicle interior from an air conditioner. The air-conditioning ECU is configured to control a cooling device to cool the battery, during air conditioning of the vehicle interior through remote operation external of the vehicle, when the battery temperature is at a predetermined temperature or higher and a state wherein the difference between the target ejection temperature and the cooling-air temperature has been at or below a predetermined value for a predetermined time period.
CONTROL SYSTEM OF MANUAL-TYPE AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE
A control system includes a manual-type air conditioner, and a control device which causes the manual-type air conditioner to execute remote air conditioning in response to a command from outside of a vehicle. The control device starts actuation of the manual-type air conditioner with a maximum temperature as a target blowout temperature of an air-conditioning air and a maximum air quantity as a target air quantity in response to a trigger command of the remote air conditioning, and gradually changes and reduces the target air quantity while gradually changing the target blowout temperature toward a target intermediate temperature with elapse of time. The control device changes the target blowout temperature and the target air quantity respectively to a set blowout temperature and a set air quantity at a time of previous disembarkment, when boarding of a user to the vehicle is detected.
Automated diagnostics for transport refrigeration units
A system for managing transport refrigeration units (28) is provided. The system includes a storage device (80) to store transport parameters (82) associated with a transport refrigeration unit (28). The storage device storing historical transport parameters (84) for other transport refrigeration units (28). Also included is an equipment management system (90) coupled to the storage device, the equipment management system (90) including: a diagnostic module (92) to determine a condition of the transport refrigeration unit (28) in response to the transport parameters (82); a predictive maintenance module (94) to determine a need for upcoming maintenance of the transport refrigeration unit (28) in response to the transport parameters (82); and a remaining life module (96) to determine a remaining life of at least one component of the transport refrigeration unit (28) in response to the transport parameters (82).
Air conditioning control device
An air conditioning control device senses a turning off of an ignition or a power supply of a vehicle, and stores a time of the turning off that is sensed at the vehicle, and stores a time of the turning off that is acquired by communication of a portable information terminal with the vehicle, and senses an advance setting command for pre-air-conditioning that operates an air conditioner of the vehicle, and determines absence or presence of the advance setting command, and, in a case in which it is determined that there is the advance setting command, instructs of execution of pre-air-conditioning control of the air conditioner on the basis of the time of the turning off that is sensed at the vehicle and the time of the turning off that is acquired by the communication of the portable information terminal with the vehicle.
Vehicle control system
A vehicle control system includes: a vehicle near field communication unit that communicates via a near field communication path; a vehicle network communication unit that communicates via a global communication path; a control ECU; a transmission control unit that transmits control commands received by the vehicle near field communication unit and the vehicle network communication unit to the control ECU that controls actions of the vehicle; and a control command detection unit that detects whether or not there are a plurality of same control commands received within a prescribed time. When the control command detection unit detects a plurality of control commands received within the prescribed time, the transmission control unit transmits the control commands in order according to a prescribed priority order, and the control ECU processes the control commands received from the transmission control unit in a received order to control the actions of the vehicle.
