An (HVAC) system having an HVAC case. An airflow control member is mounted within the HVAC case. A first magnet is at or adjacent to the axis of rotation and movable along with the airflow control member. The first magnet generates a first magnetic field. A second magnet is spaced apart from the first magnet. The second magnet generates a second magnetic field having a polarity that is opposite to the first magnetic field. Magnetic cooperation between the first magnet and the second magnet provides a magnetic linkage for rotating the airflow control member within the HVAC case.

HEATING VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) UNIT

A HVAC unit includes a housing, at least one flap and an actuator corresponding to the flap. The housing includes a first and a second portion and defining an enclosure “E”. The flap is received inside the housing with a first extreme end thereof engaging with the first portion and a second extreme end thereof engaging with the second portion of the housing via an intermediate lever. The actuator disposed outside the enclosure “E” is connected to and drives the flap via the intermediate lever. The intermediate lever includes a stopper radially extending from at least a portion of a periphery thereof. The stopper is disposed between the second portion of the housing and the flap to limit axial movement of the intermediate lever.

Air duct assembly of air distribution system for a motor vehicle

An air duct assembly for a vehicle air distribution system includes a first duct defining a first passage and a second duct defining a second passage separate from the first passage. The first and second passages are fluidly connected to a common outlet for flowing air to a windshield of the vehicle. The assembly further includes a third duct defining a third passage for flowing air to a side glass of the vehicle. The second and third passages are fluidly connected to a common inlet for receiving air from the blower motor. The third passage is fluidly connected to a lateral outlet that is separate from the common outlet, with the lateral outlet flowing air to a side glass of the vehicle. The assembly further includes at least one acoustic baffle disposed within the second passage and configured to reduce a transmission of the blower noise through the second passage.

An HVAC case for a vehicle including an airflow outlet defining a first outlet area having a first width and a first depth, and a second outlet area having a second width and a second depth. The first outlet area is larger than the second outlet area. A ramped surface is adjacent to the second outlet area. An airflow control door is movable to an open position, a partially closed position in which the airflow control door obstructs airflow through the first outlet area and permits airflow through the second outlet area, and a fully closed position in which the airflow control door obstructs airflow through both the first outlet area and the second outlet area.

The air conditioner is to condition air in the interior of the vehicle by heating or cooling indoor air, and includes: a cable connecting device for connecting an actuating means of a controller of the vehicle to actuate a door inside an air-conditioning case with an actuating means of the air-conditioning case by a cable; and a cable fixing part for fixing the cable connecting device to the air-conditioning case.

An air circulator for a vehicle is provided. The air circulator includes a blower case and a connection duct that is connected to an outlet of the blower case. The connector duct includes a first path and a second path that are divided by a separation plate. Additionally, a filter is mounted in the outlet of the blower case and an inlet door is mounted in the blower case to selectively allow air to be blown into the first path and/or the second path.

A HVAC unit includes a housing, at least one flap and an actuator corresponding to the flap. The housing includes a first and a second portion and defining an enclosure “E”. The flap is received inside the housing with a first extreme end thereof engaging with the first portion and a second extreme end thereof engaging with the second portion of the housing via an intermediate lever. The actuator disposed outside the enclosure “E” is connected to and drives the flap via the intermediate lever. The intermediate lever includes a stopper radially extending from at least a portion of a periphery thereof. The stopper is disposed between the second portion of the housing and the flap to limit axial movement of the intermediate lever.

The air conditioning system has: a rear body that is arranged in the centre of the passenger compartment at the transmission tunnel and in front of the rear seats; two air vents that are obtained in the rear body and are arranged side by side one towards the right and one towards the left, respectively; an air treatment unit that is connected to the two air vents; a single common supply duct that originates from the air treatment unit; a bifurcation that connects the common supply duct to the two air vents; a blade that is arranged in the area of the bifurcation and is movable between a completely closed position of a right branch of the bifurcation and a completely closed position of a left branch of the bifurcation; and an electric actuator configured to move the blade.

An air handling system of a vehicle comprises a housing defining an inlet section. The inlet section includes a first inlet portion and a second inlet portion. The first inlet portion includes a first recirculation inlet configured to receive recirculated air originating from a passenger compartment of the vehicle and a first ambient air inlet configured to receive ambient air originating from an ambient environment. The second inlet portion includes a second recirculation inlet configured to receive recirculated air originating from the passenger compartment of the vehicle and a second ambient air inlet configured to receive the ambient air originating from the ambient environment. A first air distribution door and a first baffle door are disposed in the inlet section to selectively control a distribution of the recirculated air and the ambient air entering the first inlet portion. A second air distribution door and a second baffle door are disposed in the inlet section to selectively control a distribution of the recirculated air and the ambient air entering the second inlet portion.
