An air handling system for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system comprises a housing including a sealing surface, a door wall disposed in the housing having a perimeter, and a sealing element disposed about the perimeter of the door wall. The sealing element includes a base, a stem, and a tip. The base is coupled to the perimeter of the door wall, the stem is formed between the base and the tip, and the tip is configured to selectively engage the sealing surface of the housing. A plurality of dentil features project from the stem of the sealing element and is arranged in a linear array extending parallel to the perimeter of the door wall. The array of the dentil features is configured to reduce an incidence of whistling when a flow of air passes by the tip of the sealing element.

VEHICLE SEAT AIR CONDITIONER

A vehicle seat air conditioner including: a blower duct; and a branch duct connected to the blower duct, the branch duct including: first and second branch pipe portions branching from a connection port in a radial direction opposite to each other; and first and second translation pipe portions extending in a translation direction intersecting with a branch direction, in which the connection port is in a first eccentric position deviated toward the first translation pipe portion from a central position between the first and second translation pipe portions, and in which the branch duct includes a convex portion that partitions a flow path and protrudes from an inner wall facing the connection port between the first and second branch pipe portions, the convex portion being in a second eccentric position on the inner wall deviated toward the first translation pipe portion from a center of the connection port.

Ventilation duct for ventilating a passenger interior of a motor vehicle

A ventilation duct (10) for a passenger interior of a motor vehicle has an inflow duct (12) for supplying air and a main guiding duct (14) that extends from the inflow duct (12) to an outlet opening (16) for guiding at least part of the air of the inflow duct (12) along a main flow direction (28) toward the outlet opening (16). At least one bypass duct (18, 40) can branch from the inflow duct (12) for discharging part of the air of the inflow duct (12). The bypass duct (18, 40) opens into the main guiding duct (14) upstream of the outlet opening (16) and introduces a flow jet (32) into the main guiding duct (14) at an angle to the main flow direction (28) for setting the flow direction of air at the outlet opening (16) without openings or louver grilles that are visible from the passenger interior.

Ventilation apparatus for a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle ventilation apparatus is provided including a distributor housing having at least two air ducts leading from the distributor housing. Through these two outgoing air ducts, an air mass flow that is fed to the housing or produced inside the housing is able to be distributed to at least two air outlets arranged at a distance from one another in an interior space of a motor vehicle. The air ducts leading from the distributor housing are each in flow communication with at least one of the air outlets. In addition, at least one servo unit is movable by a drive unit arranged adjacent to at least one of the air ducts in the distributor housing.

A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle. The HVAC system includes an HVAC case. The HVAC case has a first inlet and a second inlet. The first inlet is in receipt of airflow from a front blower. The second inlet is in receipt of airflow from a rear blower. A front foot outlet directs airflow towards the feet of occupants at a front of the vehicle. A rear foot outlet directs airflow from the rear blower towards a rear of the vehicle. A rear-to-front airflow control door is movable to direct airflow generated by the rear blower and heated by a heater core through the rear foot outlet, through the front foot outlet, or simultaneously through both the rear foot outlet and the front foot outlet.

Vehicle seat

A vehicle seat including: a seat cover configuring a design surface of a seat peripheral surface portion; a seat pad covered by the seat cover and configured to elastically support a load from a seated person; an air conditioning duct protruding from the seat peripheral surface portion; an insertion hole penetrating the seat cover and the seat pad; and a connection member attached to a seat internal structure which is provided at one side of the insertion hole opposite to another side of the insertion hole from which the duct is inserted into the insertion hole, wherein the duct is attached to the seat internal structure in a state of being inserted into the insertion hole and connected with the connection member.
