Infotainment system with air-vent control
An air vent assembly includes a cover member having an inlet for allowing a flow of air to enter the cover member. The cover member also has a vent extending from the inlet for allowing a flow of air to exit the cover member. The vent includes a first vent portion, and a second vent portion located adjacent to the first vent portion. The first vent portion has a first set of flow guiding vanes disposed therein. The second vent portion has a second set of flow guiding vanes disposed therein. Each of the vanes is spaced apart from one another and pivotally coupled to a pair of opposing walls of the cover member. The first and second sets of flow guiding vanes are independently moveable with respect to each other using an actuating mechanism for providing a variety of flow-guiding positions one of which includes a split flow-guiding position.
System and method of controlling air conditioning system for vehicle
A system includes a plurality of sensors configured to sense an opening/closing of a door, fastening/unfastening of a seat safety belt, and change in a vehicle height; a first processor configured to determine the number of all occupants in the vehicle by the opening/closing of the door, the fastening/unfastening of the seat safety belt, and the change in the vehicle height sensed by the plurality of sensors and preliminarily determine an internal circulation ratio of the air conditioning system according to the determined number of all occupants in the vehicle; a second processor configured to adjust the internal circulation ratio which is preliminarily determined by the first processor according to at least one of a sound intensity and a sound duration time in the vehicle; and a controller configured to control the air conditioning system according to the adjusted internal circulation ratio.
METHOD AND SYSTEM OF PROVIDING VARIABLE SOUND CONTROL OF A TRANSPORT CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
Methods and systems for controlling noise generated by a transport climate control system (TCCS) that provides climate control within a climate controlled space of a transport unit are disclosed. The methods and systems include a controller obtaining a noise tolerance, wherein the noise tolerance is a threshold noise level that includes at least a noise level generated by the TCCS; the controller monitoring the noise level generated by the TCCS; the controller comparing the noise tolerance with the noise level generated by the TCCS; upon the controller determining that the noise level generated by the TCCS is greater than the noise tolerance, the controller determining a target operating condition of the TCCS for matching the noise level generated by the TCCS with the noise tolerance; and the controller adjusting the TCCS to the target operating condition to adjust the noise level generated by the TCCS.
FAN CONTROL DEVICE AND FAN CONTROL METHOD
A fan control device that controls a fan used for cooling a cooling target in a vehicle includes a processor. The processor acquires an environmental sound in the vehicle collected by a microphone provided in the vehicle, derives first analysis data by executing frequency analysis on the acquired environmental sound, acquires second analysis data obtained by executing frequency analysis on a fan sound that varies depending on a rotation speed of the fan and that is a sound generated during rotation of the fan, and determines an upper limit of the rotation speed of the fan based on the first analysis data and the second analysis data such that a first index of the environmental sound satisfies a predetermined first condition, the first index being an index related to audibility.
Air vent assembly and control system
An air vent control system comprises a directional air flow component mounted on a first axis within a first housing, and a second housing defining an inner space in which the first housing is mounted. A first motor moves the directional air flow component to an angular position within the first housing, and a second motor pivots the first housing contained within the second housing. A front and rear opening allows air flow in a direction from the rear opening to the front opening. A main controller sets the angular position of the directional air flow component on the first axis, and the angular position of the first housing on the second axis. The respective positions of the directional air flow component relative to the first housing and the first housing relative to the second housing selectively regulate the direction of airflow discharged.
Awakening support system, awakening support method, and recording medium
An awakening support system includes: a lyric presence determination unit configured to determine whether lyrics are contained in a target reproduction sound that is being output from an audio device in a mobile body; and an awakening effect control unit configured to, when it is determined by the lyric presence determination unit that lyrics are contained in the target reproduction sound, execute at least one selected from: first bass amplification processing that amplifies and outputs a prescribed bass part of the target reproduction sound from the audio device; cool air sending processing that sends out cool air from an air conditioning device provided in the mobile body; and illuminance increasing processing that increases illuminance of a lighting device provided in the mobile body.
CARRIER TRANSPORT VEHICLE PERSONAL SENSOR ZONE
A processing system deployed in a carrier transport vehicle may establish a wireless communication session with a mobile device of a user, assign a zone of the carrier transport vehicle to the user, the zone including a plurality of network-connected devices, obtain a user profile from the mobile device of the user, determine at least one biometric sensor accessible via the mobile device of the user, obtain biometric data of the user from the at least one biometric sensor accessible via the mobile device of the user, determine a condition of the user based upon the biometric data, identify at least one adjustment to at least one of the plurality of network-connected devices in response to the condition of the user that is determined and the user profile, and apply the at least one adjustment to the at least one of the plurality of network-connected devices.
Dialogue service device and dialogue system control method
A dialogue service device includes a dialogue system control unit configured to recognize an occupant's voice and control a dialogue system that interacts with the occupant in order to provide a service, and an activation unit that activates the dialogue system. The dialogue system includes a first dialogue system having a first voice recognition engine, and a second dialogue system having a second voice recognition engine. The activation unit has a first interface that outputs an activation command to the dialogue system via operation of a steering wheel switch of the vehicle, and a second interface that outputs the activation command to the dialogue system via a wake-up word uttered by the occupant. The first interface transmits the activation command to the first dialogue system, and the second interface transmits the activation command to either the first dialogue system or the second dialogue system.
