Air-conditioning unit of a vehicle
An air-conditioning unit of a vehicle for air-conditioning a vehicle interior may include a unit outlet for discharging air into the vehicle interior, an outside-air duct for an intake of outside air, and an air recirculation duct for recirculation of inside air from the vehicle interior. The air-conditioning unit may also include an outside-air shut-off element arranged in the outside-air duct, which in a closed position blocks a flow of outside air through the outside-air duct, and a recirculated-air shut-off element arranged in the air recirculation duct, which in a closed position blocks a flow of inside air through the air recirculation duct. The air-conditioning unit may further include a sensor device for detecting a property of air. On at least one duct of the outside-air duct and the recirculation duct, a bypass may be arranged which bypasses an associated shut-off element and is fluidically connected to the sensor device.
Air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle
An air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle to air-condition a vehicle interior may include a channel system through which air is flowable and an outside-air channel configured to let outside air into the channel system. The air-conditioning system may also include a system conveying device separating a suction area from a pressure area and a system filter device separating a raw area from a pure area. The system filter device may include a filter housing and a filter material. The air-conditioning system may additionally include a system outlet to let air into the vehicle interior and a sensor device, including a sensor housing, in which at least one analysis channel is arranged, through which air, a characteristic of which is measured, is flowable. The sensor device may also include at least one sensor inlet and at least one sensor outlet to let air in and out of the sensor device.
Hybrid electric vehicle and method of controlling a drive mode therefor
Disclosed is a hybrid electric vehicle and method of controlling operation of engine of the vehicle. The hybrid electric vehicle switches its drive mode in consideration of air pollution and pedestrians around the vehicle. A method of controlling a drive mode of a hybrid electric vehicle includes recognizing at least one of a pedestrian and an air pollution level around the hybrid electric vehicle, determining whether each of the recognized pedestrian and the recognized air pollution level meets a corresponding prescribed exhaust gas reduction mode request condition, and determining an exhaust gas reduction mode drive according to a result of the determination.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING PARTICULATE EMISSIONS IN THE DRIVING OPERATION OF A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a method and a device for determining particulate emissions in the driving operation of a vehicle, in particular of a motor vehicle. According to the invention, provision is made that the device has a sensor system and a control unit and that in driving operation the sensor system and the control unit jointly undertake the function of particulate matter sensors. Here, the sensor system senses driving operation values on the vehicle. From the sensed driving operation values and by means of correlations of driving operation values with particulate matter values determined and stored in advance in the control unit, the control unit estimates the particulate emissions from tyre abrasion of the vehicle. Finally, the invention relates to a vehicle with the device according to the invention.
Component of Climatization System or Window System
The present invention relates to a component part of a climatization system or window system for a recreational vehicle, the component part covers a mounting frame of the climatization system or window system and the component part is selected from an air distribution unit that is configured to distribute air inside the recreational vehicle, a decorative window frame and a shading unit for adjusting the amount of incident light, the component part has one or more attachment portions which, in a mounted state, are accessible by the user from inside the recreational vehicle, wherein each of the one or more attachment portions is either connectable to one particular module or to a plurality of different modules in a mutually exchangeable manner, and wherein the modules include sensors for detecting events or parameter changes inside the recreational vehicle or emitting devices for emitting light or sound.
Autonomous vehicle and method of purging an odor from a passenger cabin of such a vehicle
An autonomous vehicle includes a passenger cabin, a sensor group and a passenger cabin climate control system including a control module. The sensor group includes a passenger cabin odor sensor, an occupancy sensor and a vehicle speed sensor. The control module has a control logic adapted to purge an odor from the passenger cabin in response to data received from the sensor group indicating the presence of an odor in the passenger cabin, an unoccupied passenger cabin and the autonomous vehicle is moving at a minimum predetermined speed for a minimum predetermined time.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AIR CONDITIONING OF VEHICLE
An apparatus and method for controlling air conditioning of a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a sensing device that measures a pollutant concentration and a carbon dioxide concentration in the vehicle using at least one sensor. A controller determines an in-vehicle air condition based on the pollutant concentration and the carbon dioxide concentration, and automatically switches an in-vehicle air circulation mode based on a determination result.
VENTILATION SYSTEM PROVIDED WITH A REFRIGERATED CONTAINER
