System for improving plant yield
An apparatus for improving plant yield. The apparatus includes a plant container adapted to be movable between a first plant growing direction and a second plant growing direction. In one embodiment, the plant container includes a first rigid outer container and a second flexible inner container adapted to be received by the outer container and for containing growing media for one or more plants. The apparatus may further include a rigid trellis attached to the plant container. The present inventions also include a method for improving the growth efficiency and yields of a plant.

Post mounting system and apparatus
An apparatus (10, 100) is disclosed for connection to a flange (52, 152) of a post. The flange comprises elongated apertures/holes (54, 154) therethrough. The apparatus comprises a body (12 or 112) having projections (14, 16 or 114, 116) that extend from the body to a distal end. A lug (18, 118) projecting laterally from a distal end of each projection has a profile configured such that it is able to nest in the elongated aperture of the flange when the apparatus is connected to the flange. The apparatus also comprises two locator elements (30, 32 or 130,132) that extend out from the body separately to the projections. The elements are spaced so as to receive the post flange therebetween, whereby the elements locate on opposite sides of the flange when the apparatus is connected to the flange.
Trellis component
A trellis component includes a tubular portion, a connector adapted to be inserted within an upper end of the tubular portion, at least two support arms, and a crop line, which are arranged such that the connector is within the upper end of the tubular portion, the arms are within and extend outwardly from the connector, and the crop line is supported by the arms in an elevated disposition to in turn support a crop.

SUPPORTING POLE FOR VINEYARDS
Vineyard supporting pole, in particular an intermediate pole arranged between the two head poles, between which is stretched the plant carrying wire, the pole consisting of a metal section whose lower end is driven into the ground. The top end of the pole has a sliding surface for supporting the plant, the sliding surface being formed by a curved part of the metal section, which is furrowed by a groove within which the carrying wire is held.

APPARATUS FOR VINEYARD TRELLISING SYSTEMS
An apparatus for constructing trellis systems, particularly for fruit vines. An apparatus may include a vertical post with a slot for slidably receiving a horizontal crossarm. In certain embodiments, an apparatus may include a vertical post, a horizontal crossarm, and a pair of diagonal crossarms. A vertical post may have slots for slidably receiving a horizontal crossarm and diagonal crossarms. A horizontal crossarm may also have slots for slidably receiving diagonal crossarms. Wire notches may be formed into a vertical post, horizontal crossarm, and/or a diagonal crossarm for attachment to a second apparatus or another stationary object, or for anchoring an apparatus to the ground. The present invention allows for a trellis system which is quickly and easily assembled, and highly durable.

VITICULTURAL CANE SUPPORT SYSTEM
A cane pedestal for support of grape vine canes incorporates a positioning shaft supported by wires extending between vine stakes. The positioning shaft extends upwardly above a top wire with a suspension arm located proximate a head of the positioning shaft. The suspension arm extends from the positioning shaft with a bight angularly oriented with respect to a vertical axis of the positioning shaft. The suspension arm configured to receive and support grape vine canes.
