AVIARY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CIRCULATING LITTER IN AN AVIARY
The present embodiments provide an aviary that includes a system and method for providing litter to birds and for circulating the litter throughout the aviary. A litter distribution chain extends through at least some of the scratching platforms. The litter distribution chain receives litter from a storage container and then transfers the litter through the aviary for use by the birds on the scratching platforms. At least a portion of the litter from one scratching platform is directed to move to a scratching platform on a lower level where the litter may be used by birds occupying this lower level. This circulation pattern repeats on the current level, with the recycled litter being deposited on at least one scratching platform near the next lower aviary tower level. Once the litter reaches the lowest aviary tower level, it remains there until it is removed from the aviary by a belt or other means.
WALKWAY AND WALKWAY SYSTEM FOR AN AVIARY
The present embodiments provide an aviary, a walkway for an aviary, and a walkway system for an aviary. The walkway includes a ramp and at least one support disposed below the ramp.

POULTRY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF TRANSPORTING EGGS IN A POULTRY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The invention relates to a poultry management system comprising at least one animal holding area with a holding area floor and a conveyor comprising a conveyor belt with an upper belt and a lower belt, wherein the lower belt is arranged and designed to receive eggs from the animal holding area.
System For Analyzing Animal Secretion Images
The invention relates to systems and methods for monitoring animals comprising inputting at least one digital image into analysis software that depicts excretions from one or more of the animals and analyzing the image by the analysis software. The method includes outputting a recommended action suitable for maintaining or improving the current physiological state of the animals, wherein the recommended action depends on a result of the analysis of the at least one image or outputting a predicted manifestation of a performance indicator of one or more of the animals, wherein the performance indicator is a physiological parameter, a disease symptom, or a disease, wherein the predicted manifestation depends on a result of the analysis of the at least one image. The systems and methods function to maintain and improve the health of the animals and may particularly be used for automatic recognition of management error and early detection of emerging diseases and production interruptions.
Poultry management device having a drying device
A poultry management device comprises a living area for the poultry, a collection device having a collection face for poultry droppings, the collection device being disposed below the living area, and a drying device configured for drying the poultry droppings on the collection device. The drying device comprises a fan element which is mounted so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis which is aligned at an angle of 45° to 90° in relation to the collection face.

Battery cage for poultry farming
A poultry-farming battery cage farming has at least two horizontal cage rows, formed with cage enclosures, arranged alongside one another, that are formed with double cages made up of cages that back on to one another. Under each row extends a droppings receptacle, over which air-fanning flaps are longitudinally spaced apart, each air-fanning flap having an upper force-transmission part and a lower fan part mounted on a transverse axis arranged near an upper air-fanning-flap end. The two cages of each double cage have cage bottoms extending away from one another transversely and are separated from one another by a common vertical longitudinal rear wall arranged at a vertical spacing above the upper air-flap end. The fan part of the air-fanning flap is arranged under the associated cage bottoms. The air-fanning-flap end is arranged in a double-cage area, from which the cage bottoms extend away from one another transversely.
