HEATING DEVICE WITH A HOUSING ASSEMBLY
A heating device for a vehicle is described. The heating device includes a heater core and a housing assembly. The housing assembly includes a housing configured with a protruded portion, a first terminal, and a second terminal. The first terminal is configured on the protruded portion of the housing and adapted to be connected with a first bus bar. The second terminal is configured on a first end of the housing and adapted to be connected with a second bus bar. The first bus bar and the second bus bar are connected to the heater core to provide an electrical connectivity to the heater core. The first terminal and the second terminal are laterally offset to each other, and are at least partially on opposite sides of a reference line coinciding with an edge of a printed circuit board received in the housing.
Vehicle heater
A vehicle heater includes a heater housing (12) elongated in a direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L). A housing circumferential wall (34) defines a combustion air flow space (40). A combustion chamber assembly unit (14) is carried on the heater housing and has a combustion chamber (20) receiving combustion air from the combustion air flow space. A combustion air blower (42), with a combustion air blower housing (44), is carried on the heater housing. A combustion air inlet opening (56), in the combustion air blower housing, provides the inlet for combustion air into the combustion air blower. A combustion air connection unit (64), carried on the heater housing, has a combustion air passage duct (74) open outwardly in a first duct opening area (76) for receiving combustion air. The combustion air passage duct is open towards the combustion air inlet opening in a second duct opening area (78).
Heat generator using carbon nano tube composite material
A heat generator using a Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) composite material includes: an outer electrode part; an inner electrode part which faces the outer electrode part and is spaced apart from the outer electrode part at a predetermined distance; a connection part which connects the outer electrode part with the inner electrode part; and a bracket part which is disposed in the outer electrode part and the inner electrode part including the connection part to shield the outer electrode part, the inner electrode part and the connection part from each other. A surface of the connection part does not face directly the outer electrode part and the inner electrode part. The outer electrode part and the inner electrode part include electrodes having polarities different from each other.
Vehicle heater
A vehicle heater includes a burner area, a circumferential wall providing a combustion chamber, a flame tube with a first end forming or adjacent to a part of the combustion chamber circumferential wall and a second flame tube end. A heat exchanger housing has a circumferential wall enclosing the flame tube. A waste gas backflow space is formed, between an outer side of the flame tube and an inner side of the heat exchanger housing circumferential wall, with an inlet area at the second flame tube end and with an outlet area in the area of the first flame tube end. An inner dimension of the circumferential wall increases in the direction from an inlet area of the waste gas backflow space to an outlet area. An outer dimension of the flame tube increases in the direction from the second flame tube end to the first flame tube end.
Carrier device
A carrier device for mounting a preferably fuel-operated heater (34) on a vehicle. The carrier device includes a mounting area (20) for mounting the carrier device (14) on a vehicle and a carrying area (152) for mounting a heater (34) on the carrier device (14). A combustion air line area (52) is provided for sending combustion air to a combustion air inlet (55) of a heater (34), or/and a heat transfer medium line area (60) is provided for sending heat transfer medium flowing in a heat transfer medium circuit (176) of a vehicle through the carrier device (14) or/and to or from a heat exchanger area (38) of the vehicle heater (34).
Aircraft multi-zone environmental control systems
An environmental control system includes a refrigerant circuit with a pump segment and an evaporator segment, an evaporator arranged along the evaporator segment and in fluid communication with of the refrigerant circuit, and a coolant circuit. The coolant circuit extends through the evaporator and is thermally coupled to refrigerant circuit by the evaporator, the coolant circuit including a first segment and a second segment arranged in parallel with one another to transfer heat from a first zone to a first portion of liquid coolant traversing the coolant circuit and transfer additional heat from a second zone to a second portion of coolant traversing the coolant circuit. Aircraft and environmental control systems are also described.

ELECTRIC HEATING DEVICE
An electric heating device for, e.g., a motor vehicle, includes a heating module including at least one electric heating element that, in operation, generates heat when it is electrically supplied, a control housing of metal or alloy that delimits a control volume, and a power electronic, arranged in the control volume, for electrically supplying the heating module. The heating module includes an outer cover that surrounds the at least one electric heating element in a circumferential direction. The control housing has a pass opening through which a longitudinal end of the heating module is passed. The heating module is electrically connected to the power electronic in the control housing. A sealing arrangement is arranged in the pass opening between an inner jacket of the pass opening and the outer cover.
MOTOR VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR ADAPTING AN AVAILABLE HEATING POWER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle, especially an electrically operated motor vehicle, having a heating fluid circuit by which a heating fluid, especially water, can be taken to at least one component of the motor vehicle which is to be heated, and a heating device to heat the heating fluid, wherein the heating device comprises a basic component mounted in the motor vehicle, comprising a heating duct, which is part of the heating fluid circuit, and electrical connectors, which are connected to an onboard network of the motor vehicle, wherein the basic component comprises multiple interfaces for heating modules configured separately from the basic component, each of them comprising a current connection to the power supply of the respective heating module and being adapted to hold the respective heating module, while at least one of the interfaces is occupied by a heating module the operation of which provides heat for heating the heating fluid carried through the heating duct.
PTC heating device and electric heating device with such a PTC heating device and method for producing an electric heating device
A PTC heating device for introduction into a receiving pocket of an electric heating device includes at least one PTC element, a conductor track that is electrically connected to the PTC element, and insulating layers that are abutted in a thermally conductive manner against the PTC element. A frame-shaped casing joins the at least one PTC element, the conductor track, and the insulating layers as a unit. The frame-shaped casing has a leading frame member with elastic guide tabs which, in an initial assembly state, project on oppositely disposed sides of the frame-shaped casing over the heat-emitting open surface respectively associated with them, which are inclined obliquely from the leading frame member in a direction of the open surface, and which are elastically pivotable. During heating device assembly, the PTC heating device is centered and guided by the elastic guide tabs when introduced into a heating rib of a heating chamber.
