A personal service unit (PSU) includes a housing, a dial, and a flow control ring. The dial is rotatable about the housing. The housing includes a longitudinal axis therethrough and a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The dial includes a helical first portion along an interior wall of the dial. The flow control ring includes a helical second portion along an exterior wall of the flow control ring. The helical second portion rotatably mates with the helical first portion and rotation of the dial in a first direction moves the flow control ring in a first direction along the longitudinal axis to cause a first adjustment in airflow past the flow control ring and rotation of the flow control ring in an opposite direction moves the flow control ring in an opposite direction to cause a second adjustment in airflow past the flow control ring.

Ventilation apparatus
A ventilation apparatus blows air into a vehicle compartment of a vehicle. The ventilation apparatus has a blower, a duct, a blowing outlet, guide vanes, and a turning mechanism. The blowing outlet is provided with the duct. The blowing outlet guides the air to flow along a lower surface of the duct. The guide vanes change a flow velocity component of the air in a lateral direction of the vehicle by guiding the air to flow along the guide vanes. The guide vanes are arranged in the duct on an upstream side of the blowing outlet and distanced from each other in the lateral direction. According to the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a ventilation apparatus that can change a flow direction of air in the lateral direction of the vehicle while suppressing a pressure loss of air and a damage of the ventilation apparatus.

The storage device cooling system includes a storage housing section located at a ceiling-mounted structure of a vehicle, provided with an indoor space thereof in which a plurality of storage devices is kept and an opening/closing device configured to open or close the indoor space, a sensing circuit configured to detect a temperature of the indoor space, and an opening/closing controller configured to control operations of the opening/closing device in response to the temperature detected by the sensing circuit.
