Positive pressure vent for a vehicle

According to the invention, there is provided a positive pressure vent for a vehicle. The vent includes an inlet chamber having an air intake port facing into an air stream generated by motion of the vehicle so as to collect air and form a positive pressure inside the inlet chamber. There is further provided a filter adapted to filter air from the inlet chamber of particulate matter. A filtered air path is further provided for allowing filtered air from the filter to travel to the interior of the vehicle under the urging of the positive pressure from the inlet chamber.

A ventilation system for an interior room is provided, having a first air suction device, a second air suction device, a suction volume control device, a first air conduction pipe, a second air conduction pipe, a vacuum generating device and a control unit. The suction volume control device affects an air flow from the first and the second air suction device to the first and the second air conduction pipe, respectively, wherein the control unit controls the suction volume control device so that the air flow from the first air suction device to the first air conduction pipe is controllable.

An HVAC system for a vehicle includes a control unit for controlling the HVAC system and an air recirculation unit controlled by the control unit that is operable in an automatic mode and a manual mode. In the automatic mode, the air control unit is operable to determine if a sunroof is applied to the vehicle, determine if the control unit can determine whether the sunroof is open or closed, determine if the sunroof is open or closed, and change an operating condition of the air recirculation unit in the automatic mode from a first operating level to a second operating level if the sunroof is determined to be open.
