EXTENSION ARM AND METHOD OF USE
A method of operating at least one of a fan and a vent in a ceiling of a recreational vehicle using an extension arm, the extension arm including an elongated shaft with an operable end, comprising grabbing the extension arm with one's hand; engaging one of a turn switch, a turn crank, and a knob of one of the fan and vent in the ceiling of the recreational vehicle with the operable end; and at least one of operating the fan and vent by rotating one of the turn switch, the turn crank, and the knob with the operable end by rotating the extension arm with one's hand.
Shrouded roof vent for a vehicle
An air vent may cover an opening formed in a structure to block water or debris from entering an interior of the structure through the opening. The air vent is movable between a closed and an open position to selectively block or allow fluid communication between the interior and an exterior of the structure.
Ram air vent for a vehicle
A ram air vent for a vehicle has a base defining a base aperture therein; a hood connected to the base over the base aperture, the hood and base defining a forwardly facing air inlet therebetween, the hood and the base defining an air passage extending from the air inlet to the base aperture; a baffle disposed in the air passage for deflecting air flowing in the air passage from the air inlet for separating water from air flowing in the air passage, the baffle facing the air inlet; and at least one water passage defined in at least one of the base or the hood. The at least one water passage exits a rear side of the ram air vent. The at least one water passage drains water separated from air flowing in the air passage from the ram air vent.
AIR DISTRIBUTOR FOR TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION UNIT OF A VEHICLE
An air distributor for a transport refrigeration unit (TRU) associated with a vehicle is disclosed. The air distributor is adapted to be removably or fixedly attached at a predetermined position on one or more truck wings associated with the vehicle such that the air distributor facilitates the inflow of ambient air therewithin and directs the ambient air towards an air inlet area of a heat exchanger associated with the TRU.
Vent With Integrated Detent
An operable vent for mounting on a substantially planar structure and configured for adjusting an opening in the planar structure to control air flow through the opening.
Vehicle fairing for use with air conditioning unit
A vehicle including a vehicle body, an air conditioning unit, and a fairing. The vehicle body includes a roof having a front portion and a rear portion. The air conditioning unit is disposed within the vehicle body and includes a condenser configured to receive air from outside the vehicle body through an opening in the rear portion of the roof. The fairing is disposed over the rear portion of the roof and the opening thereby defining an interior volume between the fairing and the rear portion of the roof. The fairing includes a leading portion oriented toward the front portion of the roof. The leading portion has an air inlet such that when the vehicle moves in a forward direction air from outside the vehicle body enters the interior volume through the air inlet, passes through the opening, and passes through the condenser.
Vehicle Roof Fan
A vehicle roof fan for providing air conditioning to a user of a vehicle. The vehicle roof fan may include a plurality of individually controlled fans. The apparatus includes power management features to limit the power consumption, such as a user presence detector and/or battery threshold monitoring. The plurality of fans may be associated with one or more optical sensors that each control the operation of one or more of the fans based upon the presence of a user. The air conditioning apparatus may also include heating and/or cooling components to modify the air temperature from the apparatus.
VENTILATION UNIT AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WITH A VENTILATION UNIT
The present embodiments refer to a ventilation unit, in particular for recreational vehicles like campers, caravans or mobile homes. The ventilation unit comprises an air intake arrangement configured to define an intake air flow path from the environment of a confined space into the confined space in an installed state of the ventilation unit. The ventilation unit further comprises an air exhaust arrangement configured to define an exhaust air flow path from the confined space to the environment of the confined space in an installed state of the ventilation unit. According to the present embodiments, the ventilation unit comprises a heat transfer unit configured to conduct a passive heat transfer between intake air within the intake air flow path and exhaust air within the exhaust air flow path. Furthermore, the present embodiments refer to a recreational vehicle like a camper, caravan or mobile home comprising such a ventilation unit.
AIR INTAKE STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE SUNROOF AND RECREATIONAL VEHICLE (RV) WITH SUNROOF
An air intake structure for a vehicle sunroof is provided. The air intake structure for a vehicle sunroof includes a base, an outer cover, and a grille shutter, where a front end of the base is hinged with a front end of the outer cover; a ventilation duct is formed in the base in a penetrating manner; the grille shutter is provided below a rear end of the outer cover; the grille shutter is detachably connected to the outer cover; the grille shutter is located outside an air intake of the ventilation duct. The grille shutter of the air intake structure is detachably connected to the outer cover.
