Tree support system and method
A tree support system and method for temporarily supporting a tree that is easy to install and remove, and does not impart damage to the tree. A plurality of one-piece molded support blocks which are designed to be strapped to the trunk of a tree encircling the trunk. Each support block is specifically configured to avoid causing damage to the tree by including a padded tree-engaging surface to protect the tree from damage, and a pair of strap-receiving loops which are disposed on the block so as to be spaced from the tree trunk such that securing straps are maintained in spaced relation from the tree trunk. The support blocks further include an angled cavity having a generally rectangular cross-section sized for receiving a wooden support post or leg, such as a 24, thereby ensuring proper angled positioning of the support posts.
Device for fastening and adjusting the carrying wires on a row of plants
A device for fastening and adjusting the carrying wires on a row of plants, such as a vineyard, and in particular to support and manage the row of plants, so as to make both manual and mechanized operations simpler and more functional.

Method for controlling the planting of olive trees for the continuous mechanical harvesting of the olives
A method for controlling the planting of olive trees for the continuous mechanical harvesting of the olives using harvesting machines, the method having the following steps: planting parallel rows of olive tree saplings with a spacing between the tree trunks and a spacing between the rows; placing trellising on each row; placing divergent supports for each tree; attaching two divergent branches of each tree, which are arranged in a single vertical plane and in the vertical plane of the row to which said tree belongs, onto a pair of supports; removing other branches of said tree; adapting the shape of the foliage of the trees so as to impart a configuration flattened in alignment with the rows thereto; maintaining said configuration by periodically pruning the trees until the latter reach maturity and bear fruit; and removing the supports and the trellising when the trees are fully grown.

Plant support
A plant support comprises two or more vertically elongated closed looped members which are rotationally spaced around a common vertical axis and connected to each other at the upper end and the lower end of the plant support. The plant support comprises an above-ground section and a relatively shorter in-ground section which is inserted into a planting hole or plant pot before soil is added and a plant is placed inside the plant support. The vertically elongated closed looped members are made of a rigid band material, such as e.g. stainless steel band having a width which is significantly wider than the band is thick.
COMPOSITE LOAD BEARING MEMBER
The invention provides a composite load bearing member, such as a pole, which can be built for any specific design load with the objective of low cost to replace wood support applications for similar loads, typically up to 10 ton yield support load. The member has at least two layers but may also comprise of three layers for applications where UV protection and flame retardancy is paramount. The inside layer consists of a thermoplastic pipe of low cost, preferably HOPE, PET or PVC. The thermoplastic may or may not contain a flame retardant. The next layer consists of a thin fibreglass pipe as shell for the thermoplastic to enable strength. This fibreglass pipe will be tight fitting on the thermoplastic since the thermoplastic can be used as mandrel for the fibreglass pipe which can be manufactured by pultrusion or pullwinding or fibreglass fabric rolling. The fibreglass resin can be phenolic, epoxy, polyester or vinylester.
Plant Support
A plant support for supporting a garden plant such as a flower, bush, tree, and the like. The plant support includes a first tube having an interior volume and a second tube slidably disposed within the interior volume of the first tube. A locking mechanism is disposed on the second tube and is configured to maintain the first tube in a particular position with respect to the second tube. A cable stop is disposed on the second tube. The plant support further includes a cable having a first end and a second end, each of the first and second end being removably secured to the cable stop, wherein the cable is securable around a portion of a plant. The plant support is configured to support a plant in an upright position to facilitate proper growth.
Post mounting system and device
A post mounting system includes a post and at least one device for mounting to the post. The post includes a first elongate flange and at least one other elongate flange projecting from a proximal edge of the first flange. A portion of the first flange is deformed to facilitate mounting of the device. The device is located at a given position along the first flange. Upon being located in the given position, the device interacts with the deformed portion to resist lateral movement away from the first flange. The device can include a body and projections that define a recess. Remote ends of the projections are spaced from each other by a distance that is less than a lateral width of the deformed portion. The device can be positioned onto the post and receive the deformed portion in the recess to enable mounting of the device.
