THERMAL SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
According to one aspect, a thermal system of a vehicle which provides cooling to within the vehicle, e.g., within a driver and passenger carrying cabin or compartment, is effectively leveraged to provide cooling capabilities to autonomous vehicle systems. Some coolant flowing through a coolant loop included in the thermal system of a vehicle may be diverted to an offshoot loop which provides cooling to coolant included in a coolant loop configured to cool autonomous vehicle systems, e.g., a compute system that is part of an autonomous vehicle. The coolant from the thermal system of the vehicle may flow past coolant from the coolant loop configured to cool autonomous vehicle systems, and the cooled coolant from the coolant loop configured to cool the autonomous vehicle systems may flow near the autonomous vehicle systems to cool the autonomous vehicle systems.

The refrigerant recovery module is configured to generate a refrigerant recovery signal to initiate a recovery of refrigerant from a first heat exchanger of a thermal system for an electric vehicle, and to stop the refrigerant recovery based on a temperature of refrigerant circulating through the first heat exchanger. The valve control module is configured to open a first valve to allow refrigerant to flow through the first heat exchanger in response to the refrigerant recovery signal. The compressor control module is configured to increase a speed of a compressor disposed upstream from the first heat exchanger in response to the refrigerant recovery signal.
VEHICLE CABIN COMFORT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A thermal management system for a vehicle includes a plurality of fluid flow circuits including a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) circuit circulating a flow of refrigerant therethrough and including an evaporator, a chiller heat exchanger, a first expansion valve located upstream of the evaporator, a second expansion valve located upstream of the chiller heat exchanger, and a heat exchanger located fluidly upstream of the expansion valves. A propulsion cooling circuit circulates a flow of coolant therethrough which is utilized to condition one or more propulsion components of the vehicle. The flow of coolant is directed through the heat exchanger, thus subcooling the flow of refrigerant. A controller is operably connected to one or more control points of the thermal management system and is configured to adjust the one or more control points to achieve a target amount of subcooling of the flow of refrigerant at the heat exchanger.
THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, THERMAL MANAGEMENT METHOD AND ELECTRICAL DEVICE
The embodiments of this application relate to the technical field of battery, and in particular, to a thermal management system, a method and an equipment. In this thermal management system, a compressor and a condenser form a cooling loop with a thermal exchange pipeline of the battery, and a compressor and an evaporator form a heating loop with a thermal exchange pipeline, so that this thermal management system can provide both cooling and heating for battery, in comparison with the direct cooling system and heating film, this thermal management system features simple structure and high reliability. In addition, the locations of the condenser and the evaporator can be reasonably arranged as required to achieve the secondary utilization of hot air and cold air.
VEHICLE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle fire suppression system capable of quickly extinguishing an initial fire in the event of a vehicle fire by circulating or ejecting an extinguishing fluid through a refrigerant line of a vehicle cooling system, and a control method thereof are provided. The vehicle fire suppression system comprises a vehicle cooling device having a refrigerant line circulating around a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, an evaporator, and a gas-liquid separator; an extinguishing fluid container in which an extinguishing fluid is stored; a multi-way valve provided upstream of the compressor on the refrigerant line to control a refrigerant introduced into the compressor, and connected to the extinguishing fluid container to regulate the extinguishing fluid supplied to the compressor; and a controller configured to control the multi-way valve to implement a cooling operation or an extinguishing operation of the cooling device.
Heat pump system for vehicle
Disclosed is a heat pump system for a vehicle, providing for selective heat-exchanging heat energy generated from a coolant with a coolant upon condensing and evaporation of the coolant to control an internal temperature of the vehicle using the heat-exchanged coolant of a low temperature or a high temperature. The heat pump system adjusts a temperature of a battery module by using one chiller that performs heat exchange between a refrigerant and a coolant and improves the heating efficiency of the vehicle using a waste heat of an electrical component and a battery module.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRIC TRANSPORT VEHICLE
An air conditioning system for an electric transport vehicle supplied by an electrical supply network includes at least one actuator for the production of heat or cold, and a regulator configured in order to generate at least one operating command applied to the at least one actuator as a function of values for parameters representing the climatic conditions, the actuator delivering an average power over a predetermined time period. The regulator are configured in order to generate at least one operating command applied to at least one actuator as a function moreover of the value for a parameter relating to at least one electric transport vehicle supplied by the electrical supply network, the value for the parameter indicating that electrical energy is consumed by the at least one electric transport vehicle or that electrical energy is produced by the at least one electric vehicle.
Refrigeration cycle intercooler with dual coil evaporator
Refrigeration cycle intercooler with dual coil evaporator is a component in a refrigeration cycle that is installed in a vehicle with an internal combustion engine or motor. The refrigeration cycle operates by continuously cycling a refrigerant through a closed loop where refrigerant passes through an inner coil evaporator and an outer coil evaporator where the refrigerant changes from liquid to gas, thereby providing a cooling effect. During operation, fresh air or outside air continuously passes by the inner coil evaporator and the outer coil evaporator and then continues into the internal combustion engine or motor air intake. The inner coil evaporator and the outer coil evaporator function to cool and dry the intake air for the internal combustion engine or motor. The inner coil evaporator and an outer coil evaporator are specially designed to provide substantially more cooling and drying than any other intercooler design.
