Overhead passenger comfort modules are provided with a module segment having a support frame member which includes a perimetrical trim frame member, and a ventilation system supported by the support frame member. The ventilation system includes a supply conduit adapted to being fluid-connected to a supply of ventilation air, and first and second branch conduits fluid-connected at one end to the supply conduit and terminating in elongate first and second ventilation openings at first and second edge regions of the support frame member. First and second concavely curved edge diffuser portions are provided which are adjacently positioned to and spaced from the first and second ventilation openings respectively. Ventilation air discharged from the first and second ventilation openings will therefore impinge on the concavely curved first and second edge diffuser portions so as create a diffused volume of air which envelops substantially a passenger seated therebelow and establish a personal ambient air zone for the passenger.

A motor-vehicle dashboard includes a shaped support body having at least one fixing seat for positioning and fixing a ventilation unit arranged for providing an airflow towards the motor-vehicle interior, and a positioning adapter body rigidly connected to the shaped support body at the fixing seat, and arranged to selectively receive said ventilation unit. The positioning adapter body is a ring-shaped support flange having a main opening and fastening and support elements for rigidly and coaxially connecting the positioning adapter body to the seat and the ventilation unit to the positioning adapter body.

An air register including a blade member including a plurality of vertical blades and a side wall defining a rear opening, and a shutter rotatably coupled to the blade member, wherein rotation of the blade member in a rotation direction from a center state causes the shutter to rotate in the rotation direction and at least partially overlap the rear opening of the blade member, a rate of rotation of the shutter as the shutter rotates in the rotation direction is greater than a rate of rotation of the blade member as the blade member rotates in the rotation direction.
