SOLID STATE FRAGRANCING
Fragrance control is provided by articles of manufacture including various solid state fragrancing objects, methods of using such objects, and systems that employ one or more such objects. The fragrancing object can be easy to manufacture, long lasting, provide fragrance that is consistently released over time, provide an indication to the user that the object needs to be replaced, and can hold a desired ratio of fragrance. The solid state fragrancing object can be coupled to an air vent to inconspicuously provide fragrance to a user in an environment, such as the interior of a vehicle.
Encapsulated Air Freshener for Home AC
An encapsulated air freshener device employing a forced air means to diffuse fragrant air throughout an environment from a cartridge that is housed in a perforated device. The device is configured to be attached to the grills of a vent of an AC unit and blend in seamlessly with the vent cover. The air freshener device is aesthetically pleasing, easy to install, and easy to maintain.
AIR SCENTING SYSTEM
The instant devices and approach provide a way to provide custom scented fluids (or air freshener) in the form of evaporated scented air and also atomized scented liquids. It combines a vessel capable of constraining scented fluids or air fresheners with a semipermeable membrane for dispersing evaporated scented air and also an atomizer for dispersing scented liquids into the air and thereby eliminates the need for secondary valves.
METHOD, OUTLET ELEMENT, AND SYSTEM FOR THE DIRECTED EMISSION OF A FRAGRANCE
A method for a directed emission of a fragrance, comprising mixing a first stream of air with the fragrance, emitting the first stream of air from an outlet element, and emitting a second stream of air, which is not mixed with the fragrance, in the form of a laminar flow from the outlet element, wherein the emission of the second stream of air takes place at the same time as the emission of the first stream of air, and wherein the second stream of air is emitted from the outlet element in an arrangement enclosing the first stream of air such that the second stream of air forms a laminar enveloping flow of the first stream of air after the emission from the outlet element. Also included is an outlet element and a system for the directed emission of a fragrance.
VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER
A volatile composition dispenser comprises a volatile composition container comprising at least one volatile composition therein. A rupture element is positioned proximate to the volatile composition container. The volatile composition container comprises a cam comprising a camming surface. The camming surface is configured to move at least a portion of the rupture element toward the volatile composition container to puncture the volatile composition container and release at least a portion of the volatile composition from the volatile composition container such that the portion of the volatile composition evaporates and exits the volatile composition dispenser.
AIR VENT REGISTER FOR A VEHICLE
A vent register for a motor vehicle includes an integral scent-dispensing chamber configured for selectively allowing a vehicle heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) airflow therethrough. The scent-dispensing chamber includes a rear wall having one or more rear wall apertures and carrying a damper that is selectively translatable between an open configuration and a closed configuration to control a flow of conditioned air through the chamber. A selectively closeable scent-dispensing chamber front panel allows inserting or removing an air freshening substance.
Lateral Vent Stick Air Freshener
An air freshener has a carrier with a pair of tabs defining a gap. A center tab extends from the pair of tabs and defines a longitudinal axis. Ai least one scented body is carried by one of the pair of tabs. The pair of tabs and the at least one scented body extend laterally with respect to the longitudinal axis of the center tab in opposite directions. The pair of tabs and the at least one scented body have a lateral width greater than a longitudinal depth.
Active Fragrance Dispersion Apparatus And Method
An apparatus for dispensing fragrance includes a housing defining an interior chamber, a reservoir containing a liquid fragrance, and a fragrance actuator operatively coupled with the reservoir and directing liquid fragrance from the reservoir for exposure to the chamber or the environment when activated. A power source is coupled with the fragrance actuator. The power source provides power to the fragrance actuator when a sensor detects the presence of a user near the apparatus. A method of dispersing fragrance within a vehicle from a fragrance dispensing apparatus having a sensor and a fragrance actuator includes detecting the presence of a person in a vehicle with the sensor, and activating the fragrance actuator to direct fragrance from the apparatus into the vehicle.
METHOD FOR DELIVERING A VOLATILE MATERIAL
A method of delivering a volatile material to the atmosphere in a continuous manner is disclosed. The method includes providing a delivery engine having a reservoir that includes a volatile material mixture. The volatile material mixture includes about 40% to about 100%, by total weight, of the volatile materials each having a vapor pressure at 25 C. of less than about 0.1 torr. The delivery system also includes a microporous membrane enclosing the reservoir, wherein the microporous membrane comprises an average pore size of about 0.01 to about 0.03 microns.
Air register assembly
An air register assembly for a vehicle includes a barrel and vanes operably coupled to the barrel. A knob assembly is operably coupled to the barrel and the vanes. The knob assembly includes a support body, at least one absorbent basket selectively coupled to the support body, and a cover selectively coupled over the at least one absorbent basket. The cover is configured to rotate between an opened position and a closed position. The opened position is configured to provide fluid communication with the at least one absorbent basket via apertures defined by the cover.
