Ionization air purification system for the passenger cabin of a vehicle
An ionization air purification system for the passenger cabin of vehicles, which modifies the degree of ionization by modifying the energy levels applied to an air ionization device having a tubular dielectric member or a planar dielectric member or ionization source proportional to the change in air flow dynamics and air quality. In one embodiment, an ionization air purification system for the passenger cabin of a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes an ionization device for purifying the air prior to entering into the passenger cabin of the vehicle while minimizing the production of ozone as a by-product; and means for modifying the degree of ionization by modifying the energy levels applied to the ionization tube or ionization source proportional to the change in air flow dynamics or air quality.
AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE AND CARBON DIOXIDE CAPTURE MODULE USED THEREFOR
An air-conditioning system for a vehicle includes: a blower unit connected to an internal air flow path and an external air flow path and configured to selectively suction or discharge air; a flow path housing configured to guide air suctioned through the blower unit to the interior of the vehicle; a carbon dioxide capture module configured to selectively capture carbon dioxide contained in the air flowing into the flow path housing; and a door disposed between the flow path housing and the carbon dioxide capture module in order to selectively open or close the flow path housing.
OPERATION OF A HVAC SYSTEM TO DESORB A FILTER
An HVAC system for a motor vehicle includes a filter that absorbs odors and gases in a cabin of the motor vehicle and desorbs the odors and gases when heated, and a heater that is turned on to heat the filter during cool ambient conditions. The heater is turned off during warm ambient conditions and warm ambient air is utilized to heat the filter. The desorbed odors and gases are purged from the cabin of the motor vehicle.
Selective filtration level air treatment system
A selective filtration system for an operator cab attached to an agricultural vehicle. A HVAC unit supplies conditioned air to an operator space selectively from a CAT 4 filter and a CAT 2 filter. A pressurization blower and two way valve controls flow from the CAT 4 filter to the HVAC unit. Control of flow or isolation of the CAT 2 filter is provided by pressure variations within the system. The CAT 4 filter and CAT 2 filter are isolated from the ambient when they are not in use.
Air-conditioning system for vehicle
A vehicle air-conditioning system includes a cold-air circulation section in which indoor air of a vehicle is cooled via heat exchange with a refrigerant and is again supplied to a passenger compartment, a hot-air circulation section in which the indoor air is raised in temperature via heat exchange and is then again supplied to the passenger compartment, a purification circulation section in which the indoor air is introduced and purified and is then again supplied to the passenger compartment, and a refrigerant circulation section in which the refrigerant circulates to undergo heat exchange with the cold-air circulation section and the hot-air circulation section. The vehicle air-conditioning system separates an indoor air flow-path from an outdoor air flow-path to block outdoor air when performing air conditioning, and performs air conditioning of the passenger compartment using only the indoor air without entry of the outdoor air.
AIR PURIFICATION APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
An air purification apparatus includes an adsorption unit, a purification passage, and a regeneration passage. The adsorption unit adsorbs carbon dioxide and water vapor in air. The purification passage introduces air in a passenger compartment into the adsorption unit, and returns air, from which the carbon dioxide and the water vapor are adsorbed and removed by the adsorption unit, into the passenger compartment. The regeneration passage introduces air for regeneration into the adsorption unit, and discharges used air for regeneration obtained by regenerating the adsorption unit to an outside of the vehicle. An upstream side of the adsorption unit of the regeneration passage and the purification passage is constituted by an internal air introduction pipeline configured to introduce air from the passenger compartment.
AIR SANITIZING APPARATUS FOR INTERIOR OF VEHICLE AND METHOD OF SANITIZING AIR IN THE VEHICLE USING THE APPARATUS
An air sanitizing apparatus for a vehicle comprising: an ozone generator; a negative ion generator; and an ultraviolet radiation source. The air sanitizing apparatus further includes a rotating feature and a motor operably connected to the rotating feature, the rotating feature configured to move the air sanitizing apparatus along a track system. The air sanitizing apparatus can includes a first end portion; a second end portion; a middle portion disposed between the first end portion and the second end portion, the middle portion rotatable relative to the first end portion and the second end portion about an axis that extends through both the first end portion and the second end portion. The ozone generator, the negative ion generator, and the ultraviolet radiation source are all disposed at the middle portion. The air sanitizing apparatus is disposed in an interior of a vehicle below but adjacent to a ceiling,
Vehicle ambient air purification arrangement and method, and a vehicle and vehicle fleet comprising such arrangement
A vehicle ambient air purification arrangement, a vehicle, a vehicle fleet and a method for purifying air ambient to a vehicle are provided. The arrangement comprises an air conveying apparatus and a controller. The controller is arranged to control the air conveying apparatus to convey ambient air through ducts and filters of a ventilation system in response to a determination that an engine is inoperative and that a voltage supplied to the arrangement from an electricity supply source exceeds a threshold voltage.
AIR PURIFICATION DEVICE
An air purification device includes an adsorption block, a housing, an introduction port for indoor air, an introduction port for heated air, a return port for indoor air, and a discharge port for used regeneration air. The adsorption block adsorbs purification target substances in indoor air, and is regenerated by dispersing the adsorbed purification target substances by circulating heated air. The housing accommodates the adsorption block therein. The introduction port for indoor air and the introduction port for heated air are provided on one end side of the housing. The return port for indoor air and the discharge port for used regeneration air are provided on the other end side of the housing. An insulating layer is provided between the housing and an outer surface of the adsorption block.
FRESH AIR FILTER REGENERATION FOR AN HVAC SYSTEM IN A WORK VEHICLE
An HVAC system for use with an operator cab of a work vehicle is characterized by an air duct arrangement in communication with a first fan outlet and second fan outlet. At least one air flow diverter is positioned within the air duct arrangement for selectively diverting air flowing through the air duct arrangement. During a fresh air filter regeneration mode the at least one air flow diverter closes the air duct arrangement, the first fan is activated, and the second fan is deactivated, whereby discharge air from the first fan flows through the second fan in a reverse direction and flows through the fresh air filter.
