PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR GROWING MYCELIUM SHEETS
Process for growing mycelium sheets. First, a substrate mixture is prepared in a mixer. Then the substrate mixture is applied as substrate layers on shelves of a rack in a cultivation room. The cultivation room is then closed and subsequently the substrate is pasteurized by injecting a pasteurizing medium, such as steam, into the closed cultivation room. In a next step, the substrate mixture is cooled and subsequently inoculated. During a growing step mycelium is allowed to grow on the inoculated substrate mixture. In a next harvesting step, the mycelium is separated from the substrate.

MYCELIUM GROWTH BED WITH PERFORATION LAYER AND RELATED METHOD FOR CREATING A UNIFORM SHEET OF MYCELIUM FROM A SOLID-STATE MEDIUM
A mycelium growth bed for growing a solid substrate-bound mycelium through which the mycelium composite is easily and readily removed. This is achieved through the use of a perforation layer embedded between the mycelium substrate and the mycelium composite so as to create a uniform structural weakness and thereby enhancing harvesting abilities of the ex-substrate mycelium via a greatly reduced and uniform tear strength. The perforation layer, through which the mycelium grows, allows for the gated and controlled extrusion of a matrix of colonial cells that may be easily and uniformly delaminated from the underlying mycelium substrate.

Mushroom Cultivation Device and Methods of Cultivation
The present invention relates to a mushroom cultivation rack. The rack is generally constructed from a number of uprights arranged vertically during use. A girder extends from each upright in transverse direction thereof to the opposite side of the rack. Situated transversely of girders in the longitudinal direction of the rack are carriers or spanning members. The spanning members support substrate holders for holding substrate in which the mycelium of the mushrooms is raised.
