A screen assembly adapted to be removably coupled to an air filter of a construction vehicle includes a frame member including a first portion and a second portion. The screen assembly includes a screen member coupled to the frame member such that a hollow space is defined by the screen member and the frame member. The screen member includes a plurality of perforations adapted to allow passage of air therethrough. The plurality of perforations are further adapted to restrict an ingress of debris into the hollow space of the screen assembly.

A filter element for an air filter device of a motor vehicle includes a frame which surrounds a filter material. The frame has a front wall extending perpendicularly to an insertion direction in which the filter element is insertable in a receiving space of a housing of the air filter device. A securing element is disposed on a front side of the front wall on which securing element a cover of the air filter device configured for closing the receiving space is fixable. The securing element has two holding parts which are engageable with two corresponding holding parts of the cover. The two holding parts of the securing element are configured as wings projecting from a shank of the securing element transversely to the insertion direction and the two holding parts extending from a respective first end region to a respective second end region, facing the front wall, are ramp-shaped.

A debris shield is disclosed for preventing debris from being sucked into the recirculate inlet of certain trucks used in the rental truck industry and thereby clogging the air conditioning evaporator coils and other components of the air conditioning system. The shield includes a segmented frame configured to fit over an opening of the system in such a way that any debris sucked into the recirculate inlet within the cab encounters and is arrested by the shield before reaching sensitive components. A method of shielding an automotive air conditioning system from entrained debris also is disclosed.

A filter assembly that includes a filter housing with a housing interlocking feature, a filter cover with a filter cover interlocking feature, and a filter element with a filter element interlocking feature is disclosed. The filter element is positionable within the filter housing, and the filter cover is attachable to a top portion of at least one of the filter element and the filter housing. An air treatment system for an agricultural vehicle includes an air filtration apparatus having an air filter housing for receiving an air filter cartridge and downstream air processing apparatus fluidly connected with the air filter housing by a duct. The system can receive first and second type air filter cartridges having corresponding first and second outlet sealing configurations. The duct has inner and outer conduits that define an inner flow path and an outer flow path. A filter sealing arrangement of the duct can engage with either type of filter cartridge. This enables two different types of filter cartridge, which may be configured to provide different levels of filtration, to be selectively mounted to the system in the same housing. Air flow may be restricted to the inner flow path when one type of air filter cartridge is fitted.

A tray for holding a cabin air filter that filters airflow entering a vehicle passenger cabin. The tray includes a frame configured to hold the cabin air filter. A retention member includes a first end attached to the frame and a second end configured to be anchored at a mounting location in a vehicle. When the frame is moved away from the mounting location, the retention member is tensioned to (i) guide and pull the flexible frame towards the mounting location and/or (ii) hold the flexible frame at the mounting location.
