A housing for a motor vehicle comprises at least one opening and at least one cap which comprises a seal on an inner side such that the seal is disposed within the housing of the air-conditioning device when the cap caps the opening.

A fan for generating a gas flow for an air-conditioning system includes a housing having a pressure chamber and a suction chamber open to each other via a connecting opening. An impeller is arranged in the housing and includes an axial suction side arranged at the connecting opening and a radial pressure side arranged in the pressure chamber. An inlet and an outlet are disposed in the housing for communicating the gas flow. A fan cut-off is disposed on the housing between the pressure chamber and the outlet. At least one cover element is arranged in the inlet and axially spaced from the connecting opening to cover at least part of a flow cross-section of the inlet.

An air filter for a ventilation device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The air filter has a frame element holding a filter element which can be connected to a receiving shaft of the ventilation device by at least one plug opening to form a plug connection with a guiding element. The frame element has at least one preparation for the production of the plug opening. A method for the installation of such an air filter is also disclosed.

A filter insertion opening into which a filter is inserted is formed in an indoor-air/outdoor-air switching unit, which constitutes an air conditioning device for a vehicle, and a guide section for guiding the filter downstream in the insertion direction is provided on the inner wall surface of a casing so as to face the filter insertion opening. The guide section has: a first lower guide facing the filter insertion opening and tilted upward; and a second lower guide formed downstream of the first lower guide in the insertion direction and tilted downward. When inserting the filter from the filter insertion opening, the filter is guided along the first lower guide and therefore is inserted while being tilted such that the end of the filter, which is located downstream in the insertion direction, is lifted up. Consequently, the filter can be inserted without contact with the vehicle body-side structure.

An air filtration device for filtering air exiting an outlet vent of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a filter assembly that is sized and shaped complementarily to a cross-sectional profile of the HVAC system. The filter assembly is selectively insertable into the duct of the HVAC system behind a vent cover that is attached to the duct. The filter assembly comprises a plurality of ribs to which a filter is attached. The filter has a perimeter that is complementary to a cross-sectional profile of the duct so that the filter frictionally attaches to the duct. The filter removes contaminants from air that exits from the vent cover.

Provided are a filter cover including: a body; a pair of fastening parts protruding from both end of the body in a length direction thereof and coupled to coupling parts formed in an air conditioning case; a first reinforcement rib having one side fixed to a front surface of the body in a width direction thereof and the other side fixed to the fastening parts; and a support rib protruding from one side of the first reinforcement rib in a height direction and fixed to the body, and an air conditioning system for a vehicle including an air conditioning case having coupling parts formed around a filter insertion hole into which a filter is inserted, and the filter cover coupled to the air conditioning case.

An air treatment system for an agricultural vehicle includes an air filtration apparatus having an air filter housing for receiving an air filter cartridge and downstream air processing apparatus fluidly connected with the air filter housing by a duct. The system can receive first and second type air filter cartridges having corresponding first and second outlet sealing configurations. The duct has inner and outer conduits that define an inner flow path and an outer flow path. A filter sealing arrangement of the duct can engage with either type of filter cartridge. This enables two different types of filter cartridge, which may be configured to provide different levels of filtration, to be selectively mounted to the system in the same housing. Air flow may be restricted to the inner flow path when one type of air filter cartridge is fitted.

A filter element for filtering a fluid has one or more filter bellows with a specified raw side and a specified clean side oppositely positioned relative to the specified raw side. The filter bellows has a filter medium that is folded along fold edges in a zigzag shape to folds, wherein the folds extend between oppositely positioned end edges of the at least one filter bellows, wherein the filter bellows has parallel extending end edge faces at oppositely positioned end faces. At least one pre-separator embodied as a flat mat is arranged at the raw side of the filter bellows. A frame is injection-molded from plastic material around the filter bellows and seals the end edge faces. The pre-separator is fastened to the raw side with fastening elements arranged at the frame. A filter system with a filter housing is provided with such a filter element.

In order to guarantee reliable maintenance, a reliable energy supply and simple handling of the service cover and the vehicle air conditioner at the smallest possible structural cost, it is proposed that the service cover has electrical means, by means of which an air-treatment device arranged within the vehicle air conditioner can be supplied with the electrical energy necessary in order to operate said air-treatment device from outside the vehicle air conditioner.

A housing assembly for an HVAC system, including: a casing with an air inlet and an air outlet, forming a first portion of an air conduit between the air inlet and the air outlet, the air conduit being configured to guide airflow between the air inlet and the air outlet; a removable cover, attached to the casing and forming a second portion of the air conduit. The casing and the removable cover form a filter slot with a filter volume, configured to receive a filter of complementary shape, the filter slot including four sidewalls for constraining the filter, an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture for allowing the airflow between the air inlet and the air outlet. The air conduit includes a guidance wall neighboring at least one of the filter slot sidewalls, the second portion of the air conduit including a part of the guidance wall.
