BULLET PROOF BLINDS
An anti-ballistic protection system for protecting a space in a building or vehicle comprising a protective blind including plurality of slats or a sheet of a laminated material having a plurality of layers of lightweight, flexible, ballistic resistant material which are secured together using a glue, heat weld, or stitching. The system may include an automated control system operably configured to cause a change in state of the blind from a retracted state to a protective deployed state, which may include a sensing system operably configured to detect a threatening event, wherein the sensing system upon sensing the threatening event triggers the blind to transition from the retracted state to the deployed protective state such that in the protective state, the blinds are adapted to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic objects such as bullets.
VENT SHADE ASSEMBLY
A vent shade assembly for a recreational vehicle ceiling vent comprises a vent shade outer frame having an inner flange, a vent shade inner frame having an inner flange, and a pair of side walls disposed between the inner flange of each of the outer and inner frame to form a slot. A movable pleated shade element disposed within the slot is operable between a closed position and a plurality of positions there between. A first and a second shade string is disposed at least partially alongside and parallel to a first and second of the pair of side walls, respectively, and proximate a first and a second side edge of the movable pleated shade element, respectively. A portion of the inner flange of the vent shade outer frame supports the first and second side edge of the movable pleated shade element.
VENT SHADE ASSEMBLY
A vent shade assembly for a recreational vehicle ceiling vent comprises a vent shade outer frame having an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter defining a first opening coincident with the recreational vehicle ceiling vent. A pair of shade strings are disposed on opposing sides of the vent shade outer frame and proximate the inner perimeter of the vent shade outer frame. A movable pleated shade element having a deployed shape substantially conforming to the inner perimeter of the vent shade outer frame is operable between a closed position substantially occluding the first opening of the vent shade outer frame and an open position, and the one of the pair of shade strings supports one of a pair of opposing side edges of the movable pleated shade element as the movable pleated shade element is operated between the closed position and the open position.
WINDOW OR DOOR COVERING ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
The invention relates to a combination of a window covering assembly and a window frame of a vehicle. The window frame has an outer face including at least one groove having a depth direction in a direction substantially orthogonal to a pane of the window frame. The window covering assembly is provided with one or more snap elements for snap-fixing the window covering assembly to the at least one groove of the window frame.
COLLAPSIBLE COVER FOR VEHICLE WINDOW OR DOOR
An apparatus for partially covering a door or window opening in a vehicle comprises a collapsible cover. The cover may include a plurality of movable members adapted for moving along a support to at least partially expose the door or window opening. A plurality of movable members in the form of panels may be provided, along with actuators for rotating and/or moving one or more of the panels between the raised and collapsed configuration. One or more of the panels may be at least partially transparent or translucent, and seals may be provided for sealing the panels within the opening.
Automatic window shade assembly
An automatic window shade assembly includes a plurality of shade units that is each integrated into a vehicle and is aligned with a respective one of a plurality of windows in the vehicle. Each of the shade units inhibits sunlight from passing into the vehicle when the shade units are deployed. Each of the shade units exposes the windows when the shade units are stored. Additionally, each of the shade units is in wireless communication with a personal electronic device to remotely control each of the shade units. A heating unit is integrated into a respective shade unit to defrost a windshield in the vehicle. A control is integrated into the vehicle for controlling operational parameters of the heating unit and each of the shade units.
Window or door covering assembly for a vehicle
A combination of a window covering assembly and a window frame can be used in a vehicle. The window frame has an outer face including at least one groove having a depth direction in a direction substantially orthogonal to a pane of the window frame. The window covering assembly is provided with one or more snap elements for snap-fixing the window covering assembly to the at least one groove of the window frame.
Day and Night Sun Protection System and Method
A sun protection system for a vehicle. The system assists maintaining interior temperature level of vehicle. The system includes a series of one or more rigid retractable, darkened, translucent plastic material panels. The panels are retractably installed inside door panels of side windows. The panels are incrementally retractable independent of side windows. The panels are manually or automatically configured to cover or expose one or more portions of side windows responsive to at least one of current detected interior temperature level, amount of sunlight entering the vehicle, or maintain an interior temperature level responsive to a predicted interior temperature level of the vehicle.
Shading device
A shading device is configured to be integrated into a faade of a building. The shading device includes an imaging system configured to create images of an outside view of the building.
