KOJO MBIR AUTOMOBILE FRONT VISOR
This device is a sun visor for vehicles. The device consists of the visor body and a pivot mount. The device is attached to the interior roof and rotates down and sideways. The device has two inside panels with one panel extending towards the back of the vehicle and the other flipped down. The inside panels provide the driver and the front seat passenger additional protection from the sun's heat.
Vehicle accessory device and system
Disclosed herein are accessory devices and systems for vehicles including: a base plate assembly comprising a base plate and an articulating bracket, the base plate configured to be fixedly secured to a portion of a vehicle and the articulating bracket configured to be releasably secured to the vehicle using the base plate at a plurality of locations; and at least one auxiliary visor panel or accessory connected to the base plate assembly. Also disclosed herein are method of using the disclosed devices and systems for interchangeably moving the base plate assembly with connected auxiliary visor panel or accessory between vehicles.
Vehicle mounted virtual visor system with rate-limited optical state changes
A virtual visor system is disclosed that includes a visor having a plurality of independently operable pixels that are selectively operated with a variable opacity. A camera captures images of the face of a driver or other passenger and, based on the captured images, a controller operates the visor to automatically and selectively darken a limited portion thereof to block the sun or other illumination source from striking the eyes of the driver, while leaving the remainder of the visor transparent. The virtual visor system advantageously limits the rate of change of the opacity of each pixel of the visor while updating the optical state of the visor. In this way, rapid and distracting changes in the optical state of the visor are avoided, thereby improving the safety of the vehicle.
Auxiliary sun visor
An auxiliary sun visor that attaches to an existing vehicle sun visor assembly which allows the auxiliary visor to act as a front facing sun block while the standard vehicle visor can be swung ninety degrees to block sun coming in from the side window. A hook assembly on one side of the auxiliary visor snaps onto the existing hinge post of the standard vehicle visor. A crescent shaped member of the auxiliary sun visor is trapped inside the standard visor's receiver hook, behind the tubular shaped end portion of the standard visor. The auxiliary visor is adjustable lengthwise to accommodate different vehicle visor sizes. A spring steel member holds the sun blocking panel of the auxiliary visor in the upward, upward position when not in use.
AUTOMOBILE TWO PULL WINDSHIELD SUNSHADE PROTECTOR SYSTEM
An automobile windshield shade system of multiple retractable sun visors is disclosed. The system includes a base, the base dimensioned to fit around an automobile sun visor and attaching thereto; a first sun visor tube, the first sun visor tube connected to the base by a first telescoping slide rail and containing a first retractable sun visor; a second sun visor tube, the second sun visor tube connected to the base by a second telescoping slide rail and containing a second retractable sun visor; and a third sun visor tube, the third sun visor tube connected to the base and containing a third retractable sun visor. The second sun visor tube extends along the second telescoping slide rail linearly to distance from the automobile sun visor. The first sun visor tube extends along the first telescoping slide rail linearly to a distance beyond the second sun visor tube. The third sun visor tube remains in a static relationship with the automobile sun visor. The system is deployed by two movements by a user. The first movement extends the first sun visor tube, which engages the second sun visor tube and extends it also. The second movement pulls the second retractable sun visor downward, bringing with it by its connection through rings to the first and third retractable sun visors.
Sliding visor
A sliding sun visor for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The sun visor includes a first and second visor body shell. At least one of the shells having a retaining channel for engaging and retaining a floating carrier on a visor pivot rod. It is also contemplated that the sun visor may have a snap in vanity system and rotating pin on a D-ring associated therewith. The visor body also may include a wire routing option to route a wire from the electrical system of a vehicle to a light bulb in a vanity.
VEHICLE SUN SHIELD SYSTEMS
An auxiliary vehicle visor designed to provide improved protection against the sun's rays while driving or riding in a car. It includes a transparent tinted auxiliary component made from UV glass, which can be in a stored position or a downwardly extended position (for use). As designed, it allows the user to toggle between the stored position and the extended position with the push of a button or via mechanical means. The device expands the functionality of conventional sun visors to effectively block sunlight. The present invention reduces the vibrancy of the sunlight through the windshield to assist in preventing accidents.
Concealed automobile glare shield device with sliding groove
A sun visor device includes a sun visor including a receiving portion having two guiding grooves at two lateral sides thereof. A glare shield is slidably received in the receiving portion. A track device is disposed in the receiving portion and includes an outer track, a middle track slidably received in the outer track, an inner track slidably received in the middle track and fixed to a supporting rod. Two positioning members are disposed on two ends of the supporting rod, respectively. A pressing member is received in an outer end of each positioning member and is biased outward by a pressing spring to slidably abut an inner wall of an associated guiding groove. Each positioning member further includes a clamping unit fixed to two ends of the glare shield, such that the glare shield is jointly movable with the supporting rod.
ADJUSTABLE LIGHT SHIELD
An adjustable light shield includes a hollow cover and an elongated slide. The hollow cover is transparent so as to enable a user to see through the cover and includes an elongated slot formed in each side wall of the cover. The elongated slide includes a first window formed therethrough and a second window formed therethrough spaced apart longitudinally from the first window. A light blocking portion of the slide is located between the first window and the second window The elongated slide is arranged within and supported by the elongated slots of the cover so as to enable the slide to slidably move relative to the cover. The slide is configured to be slid relative to the cover into a position such that a light source, such as the sun, is blocked by the light blocking portion of the slide.
BAYESIAN INFERENCE TO LOCALIZE LIGHT ON A VEHICLE MOUNTED VIRTUAL VISOR SYSTEM
A virtual visor system is disclosed that includes a visor having a plurality of independently operable pixels that are selectively operated with a variable opacity/transparency. A camera captures images of the face of a driver or other passenger and, based on the captured images, a controller operates the visor to automatically and selectively darken a limited portion thereof to block the sun or other illumination source from striking the eyes of the driver, while leaving the remainder of the visor transparent. The virtual visor system advantageously eliminates unnecessary obstructions to the driver's view while also blocking distracting light sources, thereby improving the safety of the vehicle.
