SUN VISOR ASSEMBLY INCLUDING AN ADD-ON SUN VISOR
A sun visor assembly includes a sun visor panel. A first arm extends from the sun visor panel. An attachment assembly is supported by the first arm. The first arm is rotatably coupled with the attachment assembly. The attachment assembly is configured to detachably connect with a second arm of a second sun visor panel. The attachment assembly includes a connection block. The connection block includes an orifice. A connection arm includes a projection at a first end of the connection arm. The projection is configured to releasably connect with the orifice of the connection block. A connection loop extends from a second end of the connection arm. The connection loop is configured to connect with the second arm of the second sun visor panel.
APPARATUS AND METHOD TO INCREASE SUN VISOR PERFORMANCE
An apparatus and method to increase vehicle sun visor performance. The apparatus may be manufactured to replace or augment existing vehicle sun visors. The visor has an outer housing and internal void having a bed of leaf springs spread laterally along the visor length. Also within the void is a tongue having a stopper. A slit along the driver-facing lower end allows the stopper to be extended and/or retracted from the visor and also traverse laterally along the visor edge to closely target a solar glare during driving without the need to fully extend the whole visor, thereby minimizing obstruction of a driver's vision. The method may be employed after installing the device. A driver experiencing a solar glare may open the improved visor, extend the tongue and move it in the horizonal direction of the solar glare, then retract the tongue and close the visor when the solar glare subsides.
MULTI-SECTIONAL SUN VISOR FOR A VEHICLE
A multi-sectional sun visor disposed on at least a portion of a vehicle, including a first section comprising a first body disposed over a front windshield of the vehicle to prevent external light from passing therethrough, and a second section, including a second body to prevent the external light from passing therethrough, and a pivoting arm hingedly disposed at a first end within at least a portion of the second body and connected at a second end to the first body to rotate in a first direction toward the first body, and in a second direction at least partially away from the first body, such that the second body is at least partially disposed over a side window of the vehicle in the second position.
Adjustable light shield
An adjustable light shield includes a hollow cover and an elongated slide. The hollow cover is transparent so as to enable a user to see through the cover and includes an elongated slot formed in each side wall of the cover. The elongated slide includes a first window formed therethrough and a second window formed therethrough spaced apart longitudinally from the first window. A light blocking portion of the slide is located between the first window and the second window The elongated slide is arranged within and supported by the elongated slots of the cover so as to enable the slide to slidably move relative to the cover. The slide is configured to be slid relative to the cover into a position such that a light source, such as the sun, is blocked by the light blocking portion of the slide.

Motorized vehicle visor
A motorized vehicle visor system, which expands and contracts about a central body; pitches towards and away from the windshield, and pivot towards the side window of the vehicle about a supporting rod. The visor can truncate to a shorter width and pitch upward at body position trailing the rod pivot motion towards the side of the window of the vehicle. When pivoted to the side window, the visor system expands, contracts, and pitches towards or away from the side window. In a reverse movement, the visor system truncates into a smaller width, pitch upward at body position trailing the rod pivot motion away from the side window, and pivots towards the frontal position along the windshield. The visor panel system, when in non-operation mode, may truncates about its body, rest in a plane position parallel to the roof of the vehicle. The visor panel system can operate manually.

A sun visor core (10) comprises two major surfaces (11) and a perimeter (12). In correspondence with one portion of the perimeter (12) the core comprises a retention member (13) for retaining a portion of a flexible cover, the retention member (13) comprising an aperture (130) for receiving the portion of the flexible cover. The retention member (13) further comprises, in said aperture (130), a plurality of projections (130a, 130b) adapted for engaging the flexible cover.
