VEHICLE SUN VISOR WITH SLIDE ON ROD FUNCTION
A vehicle sun visor includes an L-shaped rod fixed to the vehicle and a screen rotatably mounted on and slidable on the rod along a sliding direction parallel to a longitudinal axle thereof. The sun visor includes a detent clip coupled to the rod to establish controlled and stable predefined rotational positions of the screen defining at least a first screening position and an inoperative position. The visor further includes a carrier rotatably attached to the rod and housed in a guiding profile of the screen such that the screen is movable between two end positions of the sliding movement of the screen along the rod, defining two end positions. The carrier includes a rotary slider, a floating slider, and a metal spring elastically coupling the floating and rotary sliders. The carrier includes a first retention component engageable with a second retention component in the screen at one of the end positions.
Dimmable sunvisor
A dimmable visor is disclosed. In one embodiment, the visor includes a first clear sheet having a first surface and an electro-opaque sheet having a first surface and a second surface and having adjustably variable transparency. The first surface of the electro-opaque sheet is in contact with the first surface of the first clear sheet. The visor also includes a pair of transparent electrodes disposed on two opposite edges of the electro-opaque sheet, each of the transparent electrodes having an area smaller than the electro-opaque sheet. The visor also includes a second clear sheet having a first surface in contact with the second surface of the electro-opaque sheet. The visor also includes a suspension hinge attached to one edge of the first clear sheet and is configured to rotate about the suspension hinge. The electro-opaque sheet changes its transparency in response to electrical energy being applied to the electro-opaque sheet.
Mechanism for sun visor extension
A vehicle visor includes a visor body having an inner cavity with first and second channels disposed therein. A blade is slideably mounted to the first and second channels between extended and retracted positions by first and second rails of the blade that are slideably received in the first and second channels of the visor body. An adjustment knob is mounted on the visor body and includes a toothed outer perimeter that gearingly engages a toothed track disposed on the blade within the inner cavity. The adjustment knob further includes an exposed portion that is disposed outside of the inner cavity and accessible to a user for incremental rotation resulting in deployment or retraction of the blade.
VEHICLE VISOR
Systems and methods of sun visor construction are provided. The method can include obtaining a section of material from a piece of material used to form a headliner of a vehicle. The method can include forming a first portion of material and a second portion of material from the section of material. The method can include stacking the first portion of material with the second portion of material. The method can include coupling a component with the first portion of material and the second portion of material to form a visor of the vehicle, the component covering an outer edge of the first portion of material and an outer edge of the second portion of material.
VANITY MIRROR ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE SUN VISOR
A vanity mirror assembly for a vehicle sun visor includes a cover assembly configured to be slideably supported within a frame and to cover a reflective element while in a closed position and to at least partially expose the reflective element to a vehicle interior while in an open position. The cover assembly includes a substantially rigid body portion, one or more flexible arms extending from the substantially rigid body, and a biasing member configured to drive the one or more flexible arms away from the substantially rigid body and into a corresponding groove of the frame.
Image pickup device, near infrared light emission device, and sunvisor
An image pickup device includes a first emission unit that emits a near infrared light toward a face of a driver from a front lower side of the driver, and a second emission unit that emits a near infrared light from an upper side of the driver. When a sunvisor is present at a storage position in which sunlight is not shielded, the second emission unit is disposed at a position to be covered with the sunvisor. A portion where the sunvisor present at a storage position covers the second emission unit is made of a material that shields a visible light contained in the sunlight and transmits the near infrared light.
SUN VISOR FOR CARS
The invention relates to the technical field of sun visors, and discloses a sun visor for cars including a back plane and a sun visor lens. An inner portion of the back plane is fixedly connected with iron sheets, a left portion of an upper end of the back plane is fixedly connected with a left buckle, and a right portion of the upper end of the back plane is fixedly connected with a right buckle. For the sun visor for cars according to the invention, the sun visor for cars is easy to install, and the position of the sun visor can also be adjusted flexibly to meet the sunshade needs at different times and is suitable for wide use.
Alternative energy car sun visor
A sun visor assembly for a motorized vehicle includes first and second panels configured to be pivotally mounted to a sun visor support rod. The second panel includes a solar panel to generate power to charge a portable device. The sun visor assembly includes a solar panel voltage regulator configured to generate a regulated electric power from electric power generated by the solar panel. The solar panel voltage regulator is operatively coupled with a device charging output port to output the regulated electric power to charge the portable device.
SUN VISOR FOR VEHICLE
A sun visor for a vehicle, includes a sun visor body including a pair of shell-shaped halved bodies that are joined to each other at multiple positions, and an arm. At least one joining structure of multiple joining structures including a pin portion projecting from an inner surface of the halved body of one half and an insertion hole of the halved body of the other half through which the pin portion can be inserted. A front end of the pin portion has an umbrella-like portion formed by riveting so as to restrict a relative movement between the halved body of the one half and the halved body of the other half in the thickness direction.
Disabled tag handling system
A tag support assembly has a rectangular coupling section, a rectangular pivoting section, a pivot pin, and inverted L-shaped fingers. The coupling section is releasably coupled to a vehicle visor. The pivoting section has corner tabs. An opening is created for removable receipt of a disabled tag. The pivoting section removably receives the disabled tag. The pivot pin extends through the coupling section and the pivoting section facilitating pivoting of the pivoting section between a raised inoperative orientation and a lowered operative orientation 90 degrees from the raised inoperative orientation for allowing display of the disabled tag.
