A sliding sun visor for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The sun visor includes a first and second visor body shell. The visor also comprises a pivot rod and a carrier slidingly arranged over the pivot rod. The first shell of the visor body includes a monorail arranged on an inside surface thereof. The carrier is slidingly engaged with the first shell wherein the carrier is arranged within or on the monorail. The carrier contacts a top portion of the monorail and a bottom portion of the monorail. The carrier is hence slidingly secured to the monorail and only connected to one of the shells used to engage to form a visor body. The visor bodies are secured via a press fit between a first boss arranged on a first shell and a second boss arranged on the second shell thus creating a secure connection that does not need screws to secure the visor halves to one another.

SHADING DEVICE

A shading device comprises: a shading member formed using a dimming glass plate capable of changing light transmittance, the shading member having a plate shape; a display apparatus being capable of transmitting light and disposed on a surface of the shading member, the surface being to face an operator during use of the shading member, in such a manner that a display portion faces the operator; an image pickup device to pick up, as an image, a region which an opposite surface of the surface faces, and generate image pickup data; a data processing circuit to generate display image data to be displayed on the display portion during use of the shading member, based on the image pickup data generated by the image pickup device; and a switch to change light transmittance of the dimming glass plate.

Vehicle sun visor

A vehicle sun visor includes a sun visor body supported with respect to a vehicle ceiling so as to be freely rotated between a storage position and a use position, and a mirror mounted in a mounting part provided in the sun visor body. If an area that is a part below the mounting part of the surface of the sun visor body located in the use position is designated a lower surface area, a plurality of reinforcement ribs extending in a short-axis direction of the sun visor body are provided in the lower surface area in parallel with one another at a predetermined interval in the long-axis direction of the sun visor body. The predetermined interval is shorter than a distance in a short-axis direction of the lower surface area.

SHADING DEVICE AND IMAGE DISPLAY MODULE

A shading device comprises: a shading member; a display apparatus disposed on a surface of the shading member in such a manner that a display portion faces to an operator; an image pickup device to pick up, as an image, a region which an opposite surface of the surface faces, and generate image pickup data; and a data processing circuit to generate display image data, based on the image pickup data. An image display module comprises: a display apparatus to be disposed on a surface of a shading device in such a manner that a display portion faces an operator; an image pickup device to pick up, as an image, a region to which an opposite surface of the surface faces, and generate image pickup data; and a data processing circuit to generate display image data, based on the image pickup data.

The invention relates to an extendable sun visor for a vehicle, comprising a base plate for providing a base area of shadowing, a first movable plate which is connected to the base plate and which is movable in relation to the base plate for providing a first additional area of shadowing, at least one second movable plate which is connected to the base plate and which is movable in relation to both the base plate and the first movable plate for providing at least one second additional area of shadowing, the at least one second additional area of shadowing being different from said first additional area of shadowing, and an actuating structure for actuating a movement of the at least one second movable plate when the first moveable plate is moved. A vehicle comprising such an extendable sun visor is also provided.

Vanity mirror assembly for a vehicle sun visor

A vanity mirror assembly for a vehicle sun visor includes a cover assembly configured to be slideably supported within a frame and to cover a reflective element while in a closed position and to at least partially expose the reflective element to a vehicle interior while in an open position. The cover assembly includes a substantially rigid body portion, one or more flexible arms extending from the substantially rigid body, and a biasing member configured to drive the one or more flexible arms away from the substantially rigid body and into a corresponding groove of the frame.

SUN VISOR FOR A VEHICLE

The present invention relates to a sun visor (1) for a vehicle (100). The sun visor comprises a light source (6, 7) for providing illumination within the vehicle, and a printed electronic circuit (4) located within the sun visor for controlling operation of the light source. The sun visor may include a light dispersion device (10) for dispersing light emitted by the light source, which may include a body portion (11) extending over the printed electronic circuit and a light emission portion (12) extending around the body portion and arranged to transmit light from the light source to the outside of the sun visor.

MULTI-DIMENSIONALLY-ADJUSTABLE, POINT-SOURCE, SUN SHADE APPARATUS AND METHOD
20190232762 · 2019-08-01 ·

An apparatus as a blind or blocker (miniature sun visor) selectively attaches to any edge of a standard visor equipped in a vehicle, whether the visor is stowed (undeployed, non-deployed), or positioned for use (deployed). A clamp selectively grips the visor, a panel blocks (subtends the angle made by two eyes and the point source) the light from a point source, and a flexible, self-stabilizing, extension (or adjuster) extends between the clamp and panel. The extension is sufficiently long to reach well beyond the visor to cover (occlude) a point source of light, such as the sun or a reflected beam, from both eyes of a user. A gooseneck extension between the clamp and panel can straighten, bend, twist, turn or otherwise re-shape inelastically to support a position of the panel moved by a single hand.

Abbreviated visor assembly

A visor assembly includes a visor body, an electronic device receiver and a pivot feature connecting the electronic device receiver to the visor body. The visor assembly also includes a light shield that extends between the electronic device receiver and the visor body and functions to block light passing through the gap between the visor body and the electronic device receiver when the visor body and electronic device receiver are in certain configurations.
